I've started the Chronicles section up now that some events have actually happened in the IC. I'm not sure how I want to format the Chronicles or how detailed I should make them so I won't mind any feedback as to how I've set it up. They probably aren't super useful now but they have long-term use, keep that in mind.

Also, everyone have an idea of what they'll use the dragon balls for?

since my character is not in the tournament, how will he get stronger?

Down the line? hyperbolic time chamber. Always got that mcguffin to do whenever the GM sees fit to do it, lol.

For characters that aren't in the tournament there aren't really any methods of growing stronger, unless they start a fight somewhere else outside the arena. Once the tournament has ended and the story can progress there will be more opportunities to grow. Training and fighting are the way to do it, particularly with (or against) other player characters or plot-relevant NPCs. Sadly, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber was kinda busted in the plight against Super Buu so our characters can't really take advantage of it.

Your fight wasn't really that bad. I determine the points added to the power level by how pushed the character in question was during the fight, not by the quality of the post. For easy victories the reward won't be as great, and the same goes for quick defeats. I'm pretty sure Light's next fight will be much more interesting as it will be against Guls. Those two are of comparable strength, after all.

As for what my characters would wish for it doesn't really matter what Jack wants because he's no longer in the running. x3 As for Fenro he would use the Dragonballs as a shortcut to becoming vastly stronger. Something along the lines of wishing to be stronger than his father, which is quite the boost. Since Shenron grants three wishes (thanks to Dende) he probably wouldn't particularly care about the other two and make basic wishes.

Would it be okay if my character trains using a gravity room at capsule Corp? That was in the show and didn't really require for there to be another fighter to train and get stronger.

I have actually, in case David wins, his first wish will be for Shenron to help the other PC's gain what they need to achieve their goals without giving it to them directly, his second wish would be to learn about his father, and he would keep the third wish in reserve in case it ever became important. Mainly because by winning the tournament he will already have fulfilled his own wish :to be known as a powerful fighter.

Also to whoever I have to fight next, I'm fine with however you want to do it, collab or not, however I'm in a completely different timezone than most of you, and I have no experience with collabs so that might complicate things, this is just a heads up though, so if you wanna collab let me know

Ultra-Dimension wouldn't directly ask to be stronger, but he would ask for some of the rarest materials in the galaxy that he heard of but never acquired, which would over time allow him to improve his suit.

That's a good first wish, David, but I think you aught to be careful with your wording. I don't want Slapstick becoming a Buu level threat. :P

Aren't there only 2 wishes for shenron instead of 3? I know Kai messed that up with the buu sub.

I don't know what Light's wish would be. Probably the average power boost sorta thing or something. She views the dragon balls as a bonus, she is just there for fun.

And yeah, the Guls fight will be interesting.

Only two, yes. They didn't want to upgrade it to three after Dende told them that doing so would lead to them having the same drawbacks as the Namekian Dragonballs (ie. can only bring back one person at a time, etc.).

...At his current level wouldn't that just crush his body and cripple him? Always assumed that the gravity chambers were for people at around Freeza Saga level powers, of which we are... Not. ^^;

I mean I'm intending to have Chikori eventually go through that kind of intense training (I have an eventual end goal in mind for her, after all), but I don't think any of us could cope with that kind of training at the moment really. ^^;

Which were then changed to work with as many people as needed in the buu saga. (the namekian dragon balls I mean) Makes sense that the namekian ones are stronger though tbh, they are the original.

Which pissed off Old Kai who claimed that it was blasphemous and that there would be "dire consequences". XD So it's probably not actually a good idea in the long run but hey.

If Old Kai really cared, he'd just obliterate the things. After all, hes supposed to be 1000x stronger than Freza, who effortlessly wiped out namek. but the anime really did a poor job of showing how strong the kais were, so whatever. Also, Old Kai was dead and was able to instant transmission tot he living world. why?

So, wanna start on figuring out the post? I don't know if Light will have stretchy powers though minus the regen bits. I mean, something like that with energy drain = grapple master that sucks energy... That might be a wee bit op. lol.

Dende upgraded the Dragonballs to allow three wishes. However, if one of the wishes is a mass revival, then it can only do two. So technically everyone is right depending on the situation.

As for second round match ups: fighters will be matched against the fighter next to them in the bracket. This means:

David vs. Ultra-Dimension
Coco vs. Fenro
Guls vs. Light

Assuming Shady wins his fight it will be against the winner of the NPC fight.

I didn't intend for anyone to get bis but that seems to be the way the cookie crumbled. And I already have foreshadowed future IC events. I did it in the IC. ;)

according the dragon ball wiki, the gravity machine can increase gravity from 1 up to 100 times earth's gravity, so my character train in it as long as the gravity increase is not too high.
