Star Wars - Outlaws

I'm using this in order to show people what I am wanting to do. Please note that this isn't an open RP for just anyone to join.



This roleplay is going to be based Pre-New Jedi Order in 22ABY. So there are going to be some strange political goings on throughout the galaxy as a group of outlaws are brought together in the Corporate Sector. We're going ot be meeting on a planet (That I haven't named yet) and there we're going to team up and perform our mission of incredibleness.

I'll do the first mission and there is something me and Caboose want to do but really this is just seeing if you all like the idea of us putting together a team of outlaws.

I'm going to be playing Tony Wells! Smuggler Extordinaire! Co-worker of Tor Maximus (Caboose' character). He's also going to be good with computer systems (In terms of being a slicer). With non ship combat he's going to be able to do point and shoot, and that's about it. Nothing fancy :P

Well, what does a heist team need?

A Driver.
Computer guy.
"Hands on/physical acquisition/asset recovery" guy maybe a few of them.
A thief.
A face.
Lookout/overwatch.

I'd probably make a character either focusing on espionage and intelligence gathering- maybe an assassin, or your bog standard muscle bound merc

I'll probably be making more of a thief/slicer character and perhaps a little bit of mastery of disguise. :P

I already know what I want to make. Someone tough, strong, good to put straight in the middle of a fight. Basically, the tank.

If someone wants to do the slicer I can have Tony be the Face/Pilot (Won't always need a pilot).

I think we should all put a synopsis of our characters' abilities here to help people pick their roles. As I mentioned, my character is basically the tank. I am going with a Ssi-ruu, a species that is about as big and strong as a wookiee, with blaster-resistant hides and a very keen sense of smell. To balance that out, I'm not having any real skills outside combat. They also have some other disadvantages with them, like eyesight poorer than that of a human. My character's primary weapon will be a heavy repeater, so I'll basically be the machine gunner of the group and, obviously, strong in melee. If no one else decides to specialize in rockets and explosives and such, I can pick up that role, as someone will need to take it, but I don't want to give too much to my character.

My character will e the pilot, and if I can get away with it... slicer. Though one of his most common roles is he's charasmatic... despite being a complete and utter jackass.

So he'd essentially be the pilot and the "Face" of the crew. he's also a good starship mechanic but for balance I don't extend that to ground vehicles, caboose tends to cover them. If someone else wants to be the slicer I am willing to give that up.

Tor is the tank, of the operation, but every gang needs two tough guys. Tor is a Mandalorian bounty hunter, he specializes in explosives, and has a wide arsenal of gadgetS that mainly deal with killing people of all shapes and sizes.

We're just waiting to see what Kangusto and Enalais want to throw in and then we're good. I wanna sort this out pre-OOC just so we know what's going on.

I was gonna go with an explosives guy until I saw that Caboose had a char for it already.

Now I'm not sure what to go with.

I can give up explosives, I can be thug and mechanic

I mean, as outlaws, mercenaries, and the like, its reasonable to think that most of us would have at least some experience with explosives.

Specialists are always handy though.

I'm assuming most or all of us will have at least a few grenades for a fight, but the explosives expert brings something a bit bigger to the table.

Elite - Heavy (Big gun, strong hide)
Caboose - Bounty Hunter(All rounder but specialises in tech, gadgets and doo-hickeys)

Enalais - Assassin/Infiltrator (Black widow type)

Caboose, I'm not trying to steal the explosives role or anything. I just can't think of what roles that aren't taken are.

We could use a hacker guy. We could also use a thief: a guy capable of quietly picking locks and breaking into areas. Though lockpicking and sneaking is also a skill that would be common amongst many outlaws.

That is what Enalais was going to cover with his black widow type. Hacking/Slicing depends on whether or not he has it.

You can copy a role that someone else is doing... I mean the likes of a tank style role or assassin/theif role we can double up. The only two I'd say shouldn't be doubled up would be the pilot and the sniper.
