hmm... I'll think I'll use Atalanta's Chinatown as his home then XD

Also, can anyone help me find a decent picture for him? I was thinking so form a repaired, scavenged stealth suit, but I think that is a bit too much so I'm looking for either a neat looking set of light armor or a good chinese commando pic

Wait, isn't this just a town that follows Chinese doctrine thanks to the efforts of Chinese sleeper agents? Two hundred years after the nuclear apocalypse, would they be running a dojo and teaching the townspeople how to use kung fu and super-rare stealth suits?

Sounds gucci. Just looking to see if you're thinking over every detail in your guy's background. If he just arbitrarily had a stealth suit, it'd be really weird.

Yeah, on another note though, he might become a she since god knows I didn't spec enough into Picture Hunting since all of the pictures I'm finding (both art and screenshots) are female. At least the good ones :\

@mattmanganon Three to four weeks is without roads, it would take months on horses. You can get across country now in six days currently it's not a stretch that without roads you could manage it in a month. Plenty of military vehicles laying around unused so off roaders would be easy to acquire.

Yes, but you need to remember that just because they were designed for these conditions, doesn't mean that they are completely immune to them. And if the military vehicles are anything like modern day ones, then they are designed to withstand the harshest of terrains in short bursts. Going for a week, then having to be completely overhauled... And that's assuming that everything went as well as it possibly could, with the best engineers in the world at your beck and call... These conditions are completely different.

You have engineers that have never seen this kind of equipment, combined with the fact that it's all been 200 years without maintainance, combined with the fact that all of the parts on military vehicles are generally specialized, designed so that enemies will have an extraordinarily hard time repairing/maintaining them if captured, but allies just need to ring the supply office and have a box of them sent. It's alright for NCR/Enclave/Brotherhood, because they have VR training pods, as well as access to a vast quantity of military facilities, in which, parts will be lying around, as well as production facilities where the schematics will be. But, long range and with no chance of back-up, I don't see that working.

Honestly, the way I see it, if they try taking a military vehicle across the country, I imagine that 90% of the trip will be spent scrounging for parts when things go wrong, having to find a new vehicle because they can't figure out what is wrong with that one, then scrounging for parts for that as well. And don't even get me started on Raiders/Supermutants/Slavers/Enclave/Legion taking potshots at you as you drive past, causing further damage to the vehicle.

Don't get me wrong, getting across the country is far from impossible, again, if our good friend Harold could do it with most of his brain missing, then I'm sure that any idiot that set his mind to it could do so. But I think that 3-4 weeks across harsh terrain and everything and its mum trying to kill/eat you is a VERY optimistic. 3-4 months I'd say is more reasonable.

Name: Samuel Carter, Atomic Knight of Clan Clueclocks

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Home: Chatanooga, Tenessee

Skills:
> Energy Weapons
> Mounted Combat
> Melee Combat
> Repair
> Survival
> Science

Background: The story of Samuel starts before the war, when a certain organization of men in white robes and pointy hats took refuge in the holding cells of Fort Camelot, then a military base serving mostly as barracks. Of course, the passage of time wasn't kind to the fort, destroying most of the sign and many of the records of their ancestors. Word of mouth remembers the ancestors of the Knights of Kamelot as the Knights of Clan Clueclocks, an order who protected pure-strain humans from vile mutants such as the ash-skins and nightwalkers. Though they know not of the horrors their brave ancestors faced in the defense of the common folk, the modern Knights of Clan Clueclocks have taken up a similar vigil, seeking to protect the Wastelanders from feral ghouls and super mutants, questing for artifacts of the old world in order to gain fame and glory. Their own life is a second concern- for it is a knight's duty to protect the common folk.

Samuel is the adopted son of one of the forgemasters of Kamelot, who scavenges, repairs, and sometimes builds from scratch the weapons and armor the knights use. His birth father was slain in pitched battle with one of the Mirelurk Kings of the Tennessee Aquarium. Ten years ago, Samuel earned a place as a squire by slaying ten feral ghouls with nothing but a combat knife, and after five years as a squire, was knighted himself. He's come to the Carolinas on a quest to slay the foul mutants who torment the innocent humans of the wasteland- particularly deathclaws and other FEV monstrosities- for the glory of the order.

Equipment:
> Lambray, a horse he rides into battle
> polished scrap Metal Armor (wears a white hood which connects to a tabard)
> a car door he uses as a shield
> Shiskebab
> an insignia of rank (brown crucifix surrounded by red circle)
> A satchel full of food and water-purifying tablets

Other: Yes, he has a horse.

Name: Agent Zhang Sitrung of the People's Republic of Hongmin

Age: 29

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Home: Hongmin (Atlanta Georgia's Chinatown)

Skills:
- Sneak (What else do you learn from pre-war Naruto and stealth games?)
- Guns ("Power blossoms from the barrel of a gun")
- Speech (He has to spread the revolution some how)
- Medicine (Knows first aid and pre-war military medicine, claims to be able to do a healing ninjistu)
- Repair (Able to maintain rifles and pistols and can also make bladed weapons)
- Melee/Unarmed (Again, look at stealth)
- Higher Endurance, Perception and Agility (Training from a Red Army Spec Ops manual from youth tends to make you good at these things)

Background: To know Zhang's past mean you first must go to the moments leading up to nuclear annihilation. He lived in a town now known as Hongmin, or Red Gate, built upon the ruins of Atlanta's Chinatown from vault dwellers whose ranks were filled with pro-communists and Chinese agents. The people of Hongmin believe that the greed and scourge of Capitalism caused the Resource War and the dropping of the nukes and sees communism as the answer to make the wasteland strong and unified.

To this end, they trained using salvaged copies of Red Army training manuals and whatever oral knowledge had been passed down, supplemented by something new: manga and games. Along side endurance training, they were taught to sneak around based on what a couple of copies of Naruto told them, with marksmanship training came free-running based on what was seen in Assassin's Creed games. Yes, these communists definitely were not the run-of-the-red-mill communists.

Zhang was a particularly outstanding trainee, having aced nearly all the tests (minus one that involved brahman riding). However, un-stereotypically, he is also bad with numbers, knowing how calculate his caps is about the extent of his abilities and robots are the bane of his existence. Outside of that, he is a good natured person but is fiercely defensive when talking about ideologies. Due to the teachings of communism, he is very willing to share whatever he can with the people around him, hoping they will see the light communism, as that is the reason he has come to the Carolinas; to spread the teachings of Chairman Mao and the glory of the Revolution.

Equipment:
- Salvaged Armored Chinese Stealth Armor - An old suit of Chinese Stealth Suit that has fallen victim to time, the people of Hongmin however have managed to fix it to some degree and add metal plats for extra armor. While the stealth function works, it has a maximum use time of roughly five minutes a day as this is the one part they didn't really know how to fix. Lacks the helmet.
- Red Orchestra Concerto - Zhang's personal Chinese Assault Rifle, it has a high rate of fire but due to how it was repaired, it will sometimes make a light "zing" sound and when fired at full automatic, Zhang likes to believe it is like an orchestra.
- Chinese Pistol - Just a normal Chinese Pistol owned by Zhang, repaired by a friend, its nothing to write home about but Zhang has named it "Kekao" meaning "Trustworthy".
- Forge Combat Knife - A hand-made combat knife created by Zhang which he sharpens when he's idling. Hopes to one day replace it with a Chinese Officer's Sword
- Food and Water Rations - A large bag full enough to keep him fed for a week but he often gives shares out to travelers, saying "the Communist Party will always help those in need."

Other:
- He rides a dirtied white horse named "Guanyin" who he primaryly uses to carry stuff and travel on when his feet need a break.
- His commanding officer gave him several books to help on his journey, namely a Red Army Training manuals, two issues of Naruto and some concept art from Splinter Cell.

Question. What is the timeline we are going off of here? Did the Lone Wanderer poison the water supply or purify it? What of all the smaller choices you make in game? Is Megaton still there or did the Lone Wanderer blow it up? What of the Courier? Which side did he/she choose? What of the groups the Courier affected?

On the New Vegas side of canon, it appears the RP is running off the NCR ending, and the Mojave Brotherhood of Steel has been convinced to peaceably leave the West Coast and regroup with the outlier group (the ones who wanted to interact with Wastelanders instead of just taking any technology they can find) they sent out east circa Fallout Tactics.

@Elitestpotato Excellent questions! As for New Vegas the NCR now controls Vegas strip and the Hoover Damn with the Legion nothing more the tribal's once more. Most of the factions aligned with the NCR and began to work with them at the behest of the Courier, the Brotherhood of Steel packed up and headed East, the Courier also headed East as the NCR worked to civilize the Mojave the Courier and friends headed on for new adventures.

As for Fallout 3, the Paragon of good known as the Lone Wanderer helped hundreds most importantly returned clean drinking water to the wastes and handing over to the virus to the Brotherhood of Steel. As the Brotherhood regrouped Elder Lyons preparing most of the newly united Brothers to go north his daughter and handful of others were left to protect the wastes. At this point in time there's maybe hundred or so BoS members between Virginia and South Carolina, the wanderer and courier have companions have been given sanctuary in the Citadel while both these heroes left to learn why super mutants were coming from Florida. Three Dog is back as well having headed down to South of the Border a town between North and South Carolina where he restarted GNR delivering news to the Enclave over ridden people there.

@ClocktowerEchos Actually we Annexed Cuba in this timeline. So that could have happened, Enclave might have used Cuba as a sight of testing for the FEV virus.
