Basically Arms Slave, Paper Moon, and his folks are going to take out the last Big Dissolution. Paper moon told your character to stick with him, though Arms Slave has asked for your character to find him for a little chat. Currently Arms Slave is tanking the big boss dissolution's attacks so they don't hit everyone else. Also the Outlaws are going to fight our forces directly, leaving the cannons to finish off the outer gates.

Right now you can chose to go fight some Outlaws, though you'll be swarmed if you go alone. You may have to wait for Paper Moon to give you the message to go find Arms Slave, though right now he is making a bit of a show getting zapped, so maybe you can find him and give him a hand.

Edit: Ok, I found current events from Lucius Cypher, and the last post I ever made was 7 months ago, during the time of Corpse Collector's first appearance and the first ever huge Dissolution to fight. Chances are, it's been a long time, and there's no way I'll be able to adjust to using my old character again. I'll create a new character, one I might enjoy a little better.

Also, considering how far some people have gone, is it possible for me to start off a level or two higher than 3, or do I have to stick with 3 and lower?

You're more than welcome, specially now that we are about to jump to the arc two of the story. That's probably the best point to jump in.

Oh? Actually only three IC days (four if you count the retconned Friday that only I'm aware of) have passed ever since then, we had a period of seriously slow paced activity and only now we are getting back on track.

On the matter of higher levels, you should ask for @TheWindel's opinion. Leveling up has been a constant and complicated issue that we are trying to solve; for the time being only their opinion can have a say in the matter or not.

Well... considering that it's only been three days ic-wise, I think it's safe to say that very few people have actually leveled up. Even if I did start a level higher or so, it's not like I gain much of a benefit, apart from the Avatar feats.

Therefore, it is probably safe to say that I'll be starting off at Level 3 like most others.

I'm having quite a bit of trouble making a character that isn't a Rogue - Assassin or some carbon copy. Plenty of ideas I've considered, many of them shot down and/or under heavy scrutinizing.

Name: Anastasia Ivanovich

Age: 13

History: Anastasia is an only child, daughter of a Russian madman and an American seductress. Not to say that they were the worse of parents; turning their life around after hooking up, and trying to give their child at least a good foundation. They never, really, ever changed. Always off, whether together or separate, in their own little world and without resources to optimally care for another, but always there for their child if she ever needed them.

She never did, apart from meals growing up. Granted, she's only 13, 14 in a couple of months, so not a lot has really ever happened in her life up till now, though she did learn to cook and how to cover her living basics on her own. She never had a lot of friends, but she liked the one or two she hung out with, whenever that was. She was always out and about trying to understand the world in her own little way, taking chances, but never harming others. Every so often, she'd change her daily routine to replace her old crowd with a new one as she began again to get to know them. Though, she always made time for her old group, should've they called.

Personality: Anastasia was a free and gentle spirit that never really cared what was going on, rather more caring about who was around and what she could learn from them. She understood not everyone in the world would care to be even the slightest bit friendly, but oddly enough she found those people more interesting than most, sometimes annoying her enemies enough to back off and giving her most warm-hearted friends the cold shoulder. She is opposed to violence, but never minded retaliation or fictional targets. Occasionally bursting out in song under her breath or forgetting what exactly was going on in that moment became more common as she grew older, but not to the point she sees any harm.

Ehhh I don't really feel like playing Rogue in general, not even Artificer. I feel like Rogue has been so overused that it's just boring and stale to the point that it's basically the #1 go-to thing for characters to both be powerful and low-leveled.

Necromancer... can't think of anything that isn't already taken. Healer.... played around with a few ideas, most of them shot down. There is still one available that I just thought of now, actually, though still under development.

Warrior: I played a Berserker for my previous character, so I guess I'm trying to stay away from doing that again. Duelist is basically the #2 go-to thing, from what I can see. Tank... meh, not my style.

That leaves Mage. I do like Mage, but there are so many options for Spells, yet so few I am limited to due to the amount of Abilities I am allowed to have.

So..... yeah, a lot of thinking to do.
