Kool, that gives my NPC's something to do. Though it probably wont seem as much a good idea since no one can rig the healing chamber since there is none. One less thing to worry about I guess.

I should call WOTW Fate/Zero how much intrigue went on in there.

(Though I suppose the hip comparison would be a Song of Ice and Fire.)

I won't be using Evvie, but for story purposes I see no issue in us assuming she's involved. Maybe one of your characters defeats her in one of the many matches not shown, unless of course every match our characters face against one another are the only ones they actually participate in.

I should clarify, I am aware that there is a lobby, I was just hoping we'd have more experiences there like in WOTW, though I suppose that will mostly be up to the players.

Sigurd had to stop someone hanging themselves in the middle of the lobby in WOTW, where-as the Clockwork Man pretty much sat in his room in NoW.

Yeah that is player/npc story things. I can't make you guys interact, just give you room to do so.

I think the reason WOTW tended to have more lively plots is solely/largely to do with the players involved. I mean in WOTW we had Lyzan, Tat, and Sikako (the latter I often teamed up with for all kinds of shenanigans).

Sadly all those guys vanished with old guild.

Fun Fact: I contemplated entering(Though, decided against it, since Adrian beat me so bad, I fell off the leaderboards :P, as it would have mean popping back in just in time for the tournament and knocking out someone who stayed in the fight) with Nihl, a string user, and having him win and turn heel on not only Terra(and their special connection), but the whole of the resistance, and joining with my Grim Reaper, to free the Dreamin' Queens Brother.

As far as I know he RP's on Mythweaver of late. Heck the games he was running there have halted due to unexplained absence on his part. Hopefully nothing serious. I have been trying to get him back into this though.

If I remember correctly a big celestial door appeared in front of my character and Skallagrim appeared announcing I could enter the NoW and receive mad loot.

Well I was more thinking about all the stuff leading up to that. Something to add more meat to a plot. For example in something like Future Diary where you have everyone wanting to win for different reasons despite vying for the same prize.

It's a little hard in this case since it's not a wish or something, but that's why I'm stumped.

It was all very sudden last time, it would probably be better to have a third option of some boon of knowledge from the Dreamers for people who would prefer to progress their own story. Ultimately, winning items is cool and all but with the current way we work the Arena I could just give my character items with the exact same effect whenever I wanted, where-as getting something you actually want with the added bonus of saying you obtained it for winning a tournament feels better in terms of story and just general Arena-ness.

Also wishes are better because that can be immaterial things which are good for heroes and selfless characters, like Sigurd trying to get rid of all the dragons eating everyone.

My original idea was an organization forcing my character into participating (basically taking him out of early retirement) by taking their younger sister as collateral. Of course it's invite only so anything along those lines wouldn't work. I suppose you'd have to really go out of the box.

I might have said risking your life for a doll or flying skateboard a bit much, but in this dying has no down fall.(Skall puts some DBZ in whenever he can XD)

The key to that world eater nightmare thing though has more interesting plot value in the long run though.

I've got a character that may or may not require heavy judging due to the nature of his abilities. He is yet another one of my demons - this time, however, with a completely amorphous body, the shape, volume, density and hardness of which he can change at will, limited only by an initial supply that he has and the speed of transformation, which i intend to be pretty quick - not quick enough to form complex structures mid-swing though, such as a blade or another arm. He'd be an interesting one to enter the tournament with, but if you think he might become too much of a bother, i've got other characters that i'll gladly use.

What the hell. You can write any "prologue" you want. The only stipulation for an invite is because you have proven yourself in combat in some way that makes you stand apart from all the other two-bit sword swinging undead slaying dragon eating hero. You are unique if you cant build yourself a unique and interesting backstory "shrug". Wishes, sure what the hell if it helps your backstory have a wish as a prize to. A wish doesn't advance NoW lore only a characters lore and I am trying to build the NoW and its prize elements as part of the multiverse. So sure tack on a wish.
