Alex frowned a little at the such weak and quiet voice. She looked and sounded so sick. So... like she was just going to break like fragile glass at any moment. Glancing a little away at the question, she pondered how to answer it but ended up just blurting out what she honestly thought. The red head wasn't known to be much of a liar after all. "Lonely.... but I'm glad to see you." she answered, forcing a soft smile in return to Naisha's. Nodding a little as Naisha pointed out Alex's more clear wording. "Yeah, she's been teaching me a lot of things. Though I don't think cooking will ever be one of my skills." she chuckled softly.

When Naisha cried out, Alex frowned and reached out and grabbed the barely moving hand. Intertwining their fingers gingerly. Listening as Naisha cried and apologized. The younger but taller girl shook her head, reaching with her free hand to wipe at the tears. Feeling her own start to water, despite her efforts to be strong and not to cry. Tough girls don't cry... but didn't feel all that strong at the moment. "I-It's okay... It's not your fault... Even... Even if you can't climb or jump or run... I'm still here for you. Always. So it's okay... as long as we're together. If we're together... I'm happy." she said, her voice shaking a little, her hand instinctively tightening around Naisha's hand, as if the sickly girl would disappear if she let go.

“I see... I... I...” Was all that Naisha managed to reply to Alex's statement about how she felt. The black haired girl knew she was the reason for Alex's being lonely, but to this moment until she already felt like she was going to burn out like the last moments of a candle, she couldn't bring herself to see her friend.” Hehehe...” She laughed quietly through a little bit of pain.” That's shouldn't be too much of a problem... Mother herself only learned to cook after she met my father or at least that's how she teases her all the time.” Nai admitted with a smile, indeed it sounded like everything was going to be fine...

“Careful there...” Nai said with a little bit of brighter voice at Alex's statement.” That almost sounds like a marriage oath *cough, cough, cough * “ She said with a smile before she began coughing hard.” If I didn't know better, I would say you were proposing to me... hehehe.” Nai giggled at the end.

“But it's good you get along with my family like that...” Naisha finally said, she felt so tired and as if darkness was consuming her again. She was glad she was able to see Alex again. She was just about to say her goodbyes with her friend before heading off to the great unknown, when the door of the room flung open. Due the light coming from the other room, Naisha couldn't see who was that stood in the door frame, but she judging by the silhouette, it certainly was not her mother. It looked more like Lady Lulu?

“Judging by your state and the feeling I'm getting from you, I suppose you are preparing to say your final goodbyes with everyone you care about?” The black mage directly asked with calm voice.” Is this going to be your end? Will you pass to the farplane from here, in this dark room, sad and broken?” The older woman continued as Nai listened.” What else can I do!?” Naisha cried out.” My body is really broken, everything I knew and had was to run around, play and fight! Now I cannot even get up anymore... I'm just a hindrance for everyone around me!” Nai stated as tears began flowing down her cheeks again.

“Listen Naisha, look at your friend here. What will Alex do if you go away?” Lulu asked the sick girl.” I know it must hurt to have your body in that state, but the world isn't over just with swords and blitzballs. Don't throw your own life away like you are doing right now.” The mage stated with calm voice.” You friend will cry if you do and what about your parents?” Nai couldn't reply to that, she knew it even before the mage asked, but was forcing herself to not think about that, for it hurt too much to think.

“You can still live, you can still venture off in the world to explore an find your own adventures with those important to you. I cannot help you recover your body, but I can help you find another path to follow.” The black mage said as she reached a hand towards Naisha.” If you still have even the tiniest desire to live along those you cherish, let me lead you towards the path of a mage...” Lulu stated, awaiting Naisha's hand. She probably knew that Nai could barely move anymore, but she still did it like this.

Naisha didn't know what to do now... just moments ago she was ready to embrace the darkness that was consuming her mind, but now she couldn't... she didn't know if she ever become a mage equal to Lulu or even trully learn magic in the first place. All that Naisha thought about now was that among the endless tides of darkness around her it was as if a path towards salvation appeared. Her body was a lost cause she knew that, but if she learned magic she could still live a good life... to struggle along with her most cherished people so one day when she looks back at her life and look at the past proudly.

Desperately grasping at the ray of light that appeared in her mind, she tightened her grip of Alex's hand and tried to reach her other hand to take Lulu's. It was painful... impossible, but she didn't really want to end like this. Pushing herself, drawing everything she can from the desire to not leave her friends or her family behind, she managed to find the strength to move her arm and take the older woman's. Nai's grip of Alex had also tightened. Compared to before where she was consumed by the weight of death, now the spark was in her eyes. Alex's hand to her was like the thread she grasped desperately at. She didn't want to leave the redhead, she wasn't going to leave her! She was a fool to think about it earlier.

Lulu was pleased with Naisha's decision. She smiled and gently let go of the girls hand.” Alex, make sure she eats this time. I will come over later to start her training, but she needs to start eating again and to start doing exercises so her body can recover even a little bit.” Lulu said to the taller child. Naisha was in a very bad condition right now. Her body was too weak to cope with any stress that might happen in her magic training. She was going to have to recover a little before they can really start the magic training. The important thing was that Nai wanted to live again.

With a nod, Lulu quickly left the room and just outside the room, she found Rika, leaning on the wall. She had listened to the entire conversation. She looked a little bit horrified and relieved. She knew Nai was in bad shape, but she never thought she was that close to the end. Now that her child wanted to live again, the mother could finally sigh in relieve.” Thank you, Lady Lulu.” Rika said with sincere voice.” Don't thank me yet. I gave her a reason to try to live. Whether she recovers or not is yet to be seen. Her body is so weak that it's probably sheer willpower that's only keeping her alive at this point. She shouldn't refuse to eat anymore at least. Time will tell what her destiny is.” Lulu said, and headed towards the exit. Rika didn't say anythings else, but tears of gratitude and happiness rolled down her cheeks.

Alex couldn't help but laugh a little as Naisha explained her parents a little and poking fun at her words. The red head smiled slightly as she gripped onto the fragile hand. It was so cold. Colder then it should be. "Well, if proposing would make you stay with me forever, then I'll do it until you agree. We can get married, get a biiiiiig house and have as many kids as Mrs. Perkins. Maybe even ten. And we can have lots of sappy moments like your mom and dad have ALL the time." The red head chuckled softly. Hoping to cheer up her friend even a little, brighten her day just a little more.

Nodding softly as Naisha said she was glad Alex was getting along with her family. The way she said it... made Alex nervous. But before anything else could be said, the door opened and the red head whipped her head around to turn her blue gaze toward the door. Squinting a little at the bright light as her eyes had to readjust to the lighting. It was Lady Lulu who entered and started speaking. At the chilling words, Alex face downcasted, body tensing as her grip tightened over Naisha's hand, but was now trembling. Perhaps the taller girl knew... but didn't want to believe that Naisha was close to being just... gone. Sleeping forever. Or just going away to someplace Alex could never reach her. Naisha spoke and started crying again. Alex couldn't speak as Lulu spoke, and the tears threatening her own eyes couldn't be held back any longer. She let out a sob as she felt water blind her vision and roll over her cheeks. She sniffled as she squeezed Naisha's hand in return as she felt the weaker girl put pressure on her hand while Naisha took Lulu's offered hand.

When Lulu spoke to her, Alex rubbed her eyes with the back of her free hand and slowly nodded at the instruction, watching Lulu leave before glancing down. Not wanting Naisha to see her reddening tear stained eyes. She picked up the bowl of soup she came in with, gingerly releasing Naisha's hand so she can help Naisha sit up a bit before offering a spoonful of the hearty meal. She didn't say anything at first, waiting for Naisha to continue to eat before the orphan finally spoke.

".....Please don't leave me.... Don't ever leave me.... Abandon me... Promise me.... please Naisha..." Alex whispered so quietly, it was barely audible. Yet it was desperate. Pleading and begging.

Naisha's heart was full of confusion at the moment, she didn't really know what to think while Alex was helping her eat. Lady Lulu offered her a way to continue to live and maybe be able to be helpful to those around her in some ways. Now that the eternal calm had began, the need for black mages had declined quite a lot, but there were still those who searched for their services. There were many applications for other areas besides combat. Nai didn't know if she will be able to learn magic, but it was at least something to cling to.

“I'm sorry Alex...” Naisha cried, she wanted to reach and hug Alex, but she couldn't really move right now. She had drained almost all her strength so she can reach and grab Lulu's hand earlier.” I won't leave you! I promise, I won't be leaving you!” Nai continued to cry too.” I won't ever start thinking like that again, I don't want to leave, I want to stay with you and my family and the others!” She quickly stated.

“I will never recover... I know that. It hurts to live like this, but I will not give up again! I will not leave you behind...” She said, making up her mind. From this point onward she was going to start eating again, she was going to begin some exercises so her body stabilizes a little.” I will live, I will live for a long time to come! I will grow along with you and one day I shall be happily watch you settle up somewhere and form a family of your own!” Nai said, indicating she wasn't planning on dying well before both of them grow old and wrinkled.

When Naisha began crying again, Alex couldn't help but sob again. Vision blinded by tears as her voice was choked up with soft hiccups of sobs. Setting the bowl down on the nightstand, the red head reached and lifted Naisha a little more so she could embrace her limp friend. Her strong arms tight around the fragile body, afraid to let go and desperate to hang on to her one and only friend. Burying her face in her friend's shoulder and gave another sob, uncaring if her tears stained the shoulder she cried on. She didn't want to show her face. Alex couldn't help but think maybe it was childish and selfish of her to ask this of Naisha. To stay, to be with her forever no matter what. All so Alex wouldn't be lonely... feel... abandoned. She wanted security, wanted her friend, wanted companionship... and no one could fill the place Naisha had in her heart. The orphan girl was sure, she would break without Naisha. She was strong... physically... but emotionally she was so fragile. She knew that.

"..Thank you... Thank you Nai.... As long as you stay with me.. I'll be happy." Alex whispered through a choked sob.

~A Few Years Later. Alex 12 Years Old~

"ACK! Son of a--!!!" Alex shouted loudly as she was swung her sparing sword, but missed her opponent and ended up getting smacked in the back by the hilt of their blade, making her fall flat on her face. Groaning, the red head quickly got to her feet and glared her blue eyes fiercely at her opponent. None other then the great Tidus who simply gave a innocent grin and gave a hearty laugh. The red head was now quite big. Taller of course then most of the other kids and was even getting up there on Tidus, probably was surely going to outgrow him. Wearing now blue shorts, a little torn up along with a white tank top and a blue jacket. Black fingerless gloves and running around barefoot. Her crimson red hair was a messy boy short, and because of it, she did look quite a bit like a boy. With her tall and muscled figure. Her body's hips had been developing well, one clear indication of her gender.

Today, she was practicing with Tidus again in swordsmanship. She had been learning from him and Rika and had a natural talent for it, though her focus could use work since it made her sloppy. Still, her skill had been approving as the years went on. Lady Yuna and Lady Lulu thought it be nice if Tidus came around and taught Alex a thing or two. Well mostly Lady Yuna. Lady Lulu thought Tidus was still too childish to be a actual teacher.

The red head over the years, her temper had grown a bit more and she was more prone to shouting and lashing. Nightmares plaguing her sleep in which she couldn't understand. With the others who picked on her, she was prone to yell at them back. When it came to Naisha, she was always lashing out if anyone dared tried even looking at her wrong.

"Okay! I got it this time! Once more!" Alex shouted with a smirk, as she readied her stance.

Tidus just laughed thought. "You're getting better... and as much fun training is, aren't you late for meeting up with Naisha at her training session with Lulu?" he questioned.

Alex blinked before practically dropping the practice sword as she gave a panicked look, hands slapping against either side of her head. "Oh shit!!! I forgot!!!!! SORRYGOTTOGOBYE!" Alex shouted quickly before bolting away from Tidus' home, barely catching laughter from behind her as she bolted straight to the beach. Her feet carrying her with ease as she moved through the trees, taking quick shortcuts toward the beach. Jumping onto branches with her hands and swinging to the next ledge.

Soon enough she was at the beach, catching a brief breath before running and waving her arms. "I'm here!! I'm here!! Sorry for the wait!" she shouted as she took another breath, bending over and putting her hands on her knees.

“Again!” Lulu demanded as she observed the girl in the wheelchair from some steps distance behind her. It's been 6 years since she started studying under the her. Lulu was a very serious and generally calm teacher with realistic expectations and good work program. At first Naisha was afraid she was never going to learn magic, but it turned out she had a natural affinity for it, even more so than what she had for martial arts before she got sick. For both hers and Lulu's surprise the little sick girl learned to manipulate magic in matter of months. She was by no means a perfect master of it, but she was more than adept already. Since she couldn't really do much else most of the time, she spend her free time also practicing magic and studying when she wasn't away from home to hang around with Alex. Now she was practicing gravity magic. From all other magics this one was the one she had most fun with. Still magic was taxing on her frail body so she was constantly practicing and learning how to do the most with the least magical power possible.” Demi!” Naisha stated as she let the magic flow through the doll she was holding. The gravity distortion quickly formed in the air before them.” That's enough.” Lulu stated and Naisha cut off the flow of magic." You are truly a genius at this it seems. You've mastered nearly all basic and medium level spells. You still are some time away from when you will be freely able to use the most powerful magics though.” The older mage stated, looking at the child sitting in the chair.” I can already use Gravija!” Nai stated proudly, but she was cut short by Lulu.” Only once and afterwards I need to carry you back to the village cause you can barely move.” Nai's cheer quickly vanished as she blushed in embarrassment and looked downwards.” Don't rush it, you have years to learn and improve. Your magic power will begin it's true growth soon.” Her teacher finally said with a smile, a thing that lifted Nai's mood somewhat.” But where is your friend... she should have been here by now.” The woman dressed in black said as she looked around.

Nai was just about to say something when Alex appeared form the woods.” It was about time you showed up! My lesson is already over, so we can now head around the forest for a walk!” Nai grinned as she placed her hands on the two big wheels on both sides of the chair.”Float.” Nai whispered as the whole chair slightly rose into the air. On the beat it was nearly impossible to move because the wheels always sink into the sand, but once in the woods where the ground is firmer, there was no trouble in moving about if someone was pushing you. That's why she was using the float spell.” So how did you training with mister Tidus go? Did you beat him this time as you stated you will yesterday?” Nai grinned in curiosity, but she knew the answer actually.

Alex stood up straight again and grinned goofily, scratching the back of her head. "Yeah, got a little caught up. But hey, made it just in the nick of time." she grinned before watching Naisha use her float spell to levitate her chair up a bit. The taller girl moved behind the chair, grabbing the hilts before pushing the floating chair along the beach and to the forest for their daily walk. She glanced over her shoulder, raising her left arm and waving it.

"See ya later Lady Lulu!" she said, bidding the black mage a farewell before continuing on and looked down at Naisha at the question. Scoffing a little she gave a soft chuckle. "Well.... no but I'm getting better! Won't be too long until I have him falling flat on his face!" the red head exclaimed confidently. "Tryouts are coming around soon again for the Blitzball Auroch rookies! Definitely get in the team this year!" she said confidently again with a goofy grin.

Her steps had a little bounce in them in her confident excitement, but she kept it at ease so not to rattle the chair as they traversed through the forest. Alex glanced up as she listened, hearing rustling and she moved closer, wrapping a arm around Naisha and watched as a Dingo poked its head out of the bushes. It sniffed the air, before looking at her then soon disappeared. Fiends still ignored her. And if she was really close to Naisha, they'd leave her be as well as long as she wasn't too close to them. Nowadays, it wasn't uncommon for them to practice against some of the weaker fiends.

"So how was your magic training? Learn any new tricks?" Alex grinned curiously.

“If you didn’t, I was going to give you a cold shower! Not that you don’t need one after the training and all the running to here!” Nai grinned as she was playing with the doll she was holding. Just like Lulu, Naisha used dolls to focus her magic at the moment. The girl wanted to switch to staffs, but there just wasn’t one suitable for her. She was weak and a staff for her was going to have to be extremely light. That’s why she stuck to dolls for the time being, besides it was also quite fun making them.” Let’s stop over the one of the streams that aren’t too far from here?”

“You do realize that just now you stated that soon, you will be capable of beating one of the people who took down Sin right?” Nai asked with a smile, poking at Alex. She wasn’t doubting the redhead will one day be able to do that with her natural born talents, but that was going to be some time away. Just as Nai was not going to be able to match Lulu in the near years. Before she can even think of matching her teacher, Nai was first going to have to grow into adult and train herself a lot so she can truly master magic.” Of course you will!” Naisha stated at the mention of Blitzball.” We shall be training you for that! I already managed to refine my ball throwing magic!”

Nai rose an eyebrow when she felt the arm wrap around her. It wasn’t for first time this had happened so she quickly looked around until she saw the dingo. It was truly a curious thing how those fiends tended to avoid Alex and now Nai by extension of being around the redhead. With that said, it wasn’t as if Naisha didn’t enjoy blowing the fiends to bits now. Her magic energy was still low so she couldn’t really throw a great number of spells at a time, but when she was with Alex, they worked perfectly as a team.

“Actually I did! Lady Lulu stated I already mastered the second level general spells!” Naisha exclaimed with a grin.” Though I also was working on a little side project on the sides… fufufu.” Nai laughed and focused her magic through her doll as a small water sphere formed above her hands. She focused some more as the sphere deformed and took the shape of a long needle. Then Nai targeted it at the ground nearby as the water projectile hit the ground, creating a small hole in it.” It’s still weak, but it’s a start! I have some ideas of how to improve it!”

"Geez how mean of you! Basically calling your best friend smelly!" Alex smirked, playfully ruffling her friend's black hair before humming in soft agreement to the suggested pit stop. Turning toward the direction to the pool of water that wasn't too far away from here. The one Waka pushed Tidus into when the hero first arrived in Besaid. Scoffing a little at Naisha's words, Alex rolled her eyes a bit and smirked again. "Yeah well, maybe that just means I'll be the best there is!" she laughed softly, walking along the forest path that led to the little pebbled shore. The quiet water gently licking against the pebbles and at their feet.

Releasing her hold on the chair, Alex stretched a bit, her arms stretching above her head as her whole body stretched out a bit. Watching Naisha create a water sphere before forming a needle and threw it, creating a small hole, the red head whistled. "Wow! That's pretty neat! Heh, pretty soon you'll surpass even Lady Lulu!" she grinned before taking off her shirt, leaning down and soaking it in water and wringing it out. After a few repeats, she tossed it over a branch to let it bathe in the sun. Running her left pair of fingers through her damp crimson hair, she ruffled it up.

Removing her shorts and doing the same thing, afterwards she leapt into the water, diving in. Soon emerging and running her wet fingers through her hair in order to clean it then splashing her face and rubbing it. Humming a little contently. "Ah that feels good." she hummed. Glancing to her friend, Alex gave a big cheerful grin. "Hey at this rate, we're going to be the best powerful duo eh? Maybe go out and have our own little journey." she chuckled softly.

“Of course you will be the best there is!” Naisha agreed completely with her friend.” One day you shall be extremely good swordswoman, you are learning from my mother and mister Tidus after all.” Nai grinned happily. She was very glad her friend was improving so much. She had already proved most people in the village how capable she was, even if they didn’t want to admit it. When Alex comes part of the blitzball team, everyone was going to admit how good she is! The thought of if made the mage smile. Even now Naisha often got into arguments with the priests when she tried to visit lady Yuna at the temple with Alex. Already the priests weren’t able to win an straight argument battle with the little mage, but it was amusing to see them try to find logic arguments to convince her to not bring Alex with her on her check ups with lady Yuna. Her mother also weren’t on good terms with both the priests and the ‘old crone’ from the orphanage, as Rika started calling her without any reservations. Rika still continued to send her requests to adopt Alex, though now the priests don’t even reply to them anymore. Naisha wasn’t sure what exactly was going on, but one day her mother received a message sphere from someone. She seemed quite shaken from it and in the next few days, her prized family heirloom sword vanished. Nai tried asking about it, but she didn’t get much of an answer. All that Rika said was that she did what she had to ensure her and Alex’s futures. One day she was going to get the full truth though…

“It won’t be pretty soon, but in a few years I will be well on my way to that point!” Nai was happy at Alex’s statements about her surpassing Lulu soon. Maybe one day it was indeed going to become reality and when that happened, she was going put that power to good use! Magic may have fallen somewhat out of favor since Sin was not around anymore, but powerful mages were respected.

Watching Alex take of her clothes and go for a quick swim, Naisha’s eyebrows twitched a little as she remembered something which made her blush a little.” Talking about us as adventurers on a journey I had a pretty strange dream last night…” The black haired girl said, her cheeks slightly red, and looked to the side, trying to keep her flustered face away from Alex.” We were traveling some strange land… I was actually cured and walked along with you up to some strange town. We rested there in an inn for the night and…” Nai blushed completely remembering the most hazy parts of her dream. She had no idea why she dreamt that, but it was uncomfortable now. She remembered kissing Alex in her dream… like not on the cheek. It was a real kiss, like that she sometimes caught her parent’s doing! And she did it in front of the entire inn! Nai turned bright red just remembering it, it wasn’t something she can tell Alex about!

"Well then we'll make the best team." Alex laughed with a wide grin at Naisha's words, humming softly at the thought of being a great swordswoman. Maybe then people would stop looking at her weirdly, like those priests. Even still, Alex was left in the orphanage, alone with that bloody warden of hers. Rika was a kind woman, still continuing to try and take the red head as her own child. Even if the priests absolutely refused to hand over those rights. There were times... Alex thought maybe they had a point. Maybe it being said every day corrupted a child's mind and brought doubt. If she was a monster or not. Still, Rika and Naisha helped reassure her uneasiness over the whispers the Priests and warden chattered about.

Running her fingers through her hair, stretching her well toning youthful body, her blue eyes glanced toward her blushing friend curiously. "Oh yeah?" Alex said as Naisha mentioned having a dream of them. As Naisha turned her face away, face obviously blushing as crimson as the orphan's hair, the red head blinked curiously, wading through the water closer, so the water was just about to her hips. "What's with that blush? You do something embarrassing in that dream of yours? It wasn't the one where your completely naked in the middle of town again was it?" Alex grinned teasingly, totally oblivious to the possibility that she may be the cause of it, or the fact of being modest with her body at the moment in front of her best friend.

Naisha kept throwing quick peeks at her friend, trying to see Alex’s expression. The way the redhead was grinning and poking fun of Nai’s flustered reaction was quite friendly and cool in it’s own way, but that didn’t make the sickly girl feel any more calm about the whole situation. “Yes… I did something embarrassing in my dream… very much so.” Nai admitted, trying to force herself to look at Alex, before finally gathering the courage and faced Alex.

“Alex! I thought we agreed not to talk about that one!” Nai exclaimed, causing her to take a few deep breaths to catch her breathing. Ever since she fell sick, she had many bad dreams and some were really painful to remember, but there were the occasional embarrassing dream about her being naked in town or something like that. The usual things children went through.

“No… I didn’t dream about being naked in town.” Nai replied, quietly looking down at her legs. With the edge of her sight she could see the Alex’s legs as water drops were rolling down her skin.” I… kissed you… like grown ups do…in the middle of an inn...” Nai said almost with a whisper, feeling too embarrassed, not being able to look at Alex at the moment, the image of both of them being all grown up and kissing was stuck in her mind.

Alex continued to curiously watched her blushing friend. Naisha didn't usually act like this. Well... maybe around Cottenhead but still it wasn't often. Just usually when she really had something on her mind and it was quite embarrassing. It didn't seem to be exactly a nightmare, so Alex wasn't quite as concerned and was more then willing to poke fun at her friend. When the mage-in-training confirmed it was indeed a embarrassing dream before complaining over Alex mentioning one of her friend's most embarrassing dreams, Alex simply laughed and shrugged innocently. "Well can't help but mention it when your making a face like that! It's one of the few that got you all flustered so badly. And hey... I could name quite a few more!" Alex smirked almost devishly, snickering softly before calming as Naisha continued.

Tilting her head to the side curiously as Naisha spoke, saying this particular embarrassing dream wasn't the naked in town one. What was more curious was the way Naisha seemed almost hesitant to look at the underdressed red head. Yet at the same time, had her eyes wandering over the tall girl in quick little subtle glances. Finally, Naisha finally managed to utter what was her dream, though it was hard to ear if one wasn't paying attention. It took a moment for the words to sink in, Alex's blue orbs blinking slowly, then rapidly... processing the words. Her face immediately turned crimson and she coughed a bit, choking on her own words as she was about to shout out her surprise.

Kissing?! The two of them kissing?! Like the grown ups?! That was odd. What a bizarre dream to have. Yet it was still just a dream, it probably didn't mean anything... after all, they were friends, both girls, and Alex wasn't really... well what people wanted anyways. Still, the mere thought reddened the taller girl's face, lips tightening together thoughtfully.

Deciding to play it cool and just take it as a funny dream, Alex gave a smirk, thought it was a little shyer then confident cocky one she had not too long ago. "G-Geez Nai! I know I'm more of a man then any of the boys here, but who knew you wanted to lay a kiss on me! Can't wait to let the boys know of this when they get back this summer! They'll know they don't stand a chance being your boyfriend." Alex said in a bit of a stammer, but managed to return to her teasing tone. Walking out of the water, shaking some droplets off and she strutted over to her friend, leaning her upper body foreword and gently but teasingly pinched her friends cheeks. Face to face with Naisha with a big grin on her face.

“Don’t tease me with it!” Naisha quickly replied, her face still red as Alex’s hair. Alex was seemingly taking it just as silly dream, but for Naisha who had to dream it, it felt so real. To an extend she could actually still remember the feeling of the lips touching… it felt strange, enjoyable and it made her feel quite embarrassed even thinking about it. She had seen grown ups kiss and always wondered why they did it, now she wondered if it was because the sensation from her dream... actually was it even possible for her to sensation to be like the real one if she never had experienced it in reality?

“Ohh no you don’t!” Naisha replied with a chirp.” I trusted you with this! Don’t you dare even think about saying about it to anyone!” Nai exclaimed with embarrassed voice and looked down again.” I haven’t even said talked to my mother about it… Only you and it will stay between us… right?” The mage girl asked, giving Alex the good old watery puppy dog eyes technique. If she really wanted Alex to agree to something, that was the way to go~ The redhead just couldn’t deny a request from Nai, especially if Nai used the puppy eyes move. It was super effective!

“Ow-ow-ow.. this hurts… Alex!’ Nai said pleadingly as her friend pinched her cheeks, bringing them face to face.” Leave my cheeks alone or I will turn you into icicle!” Nai threatened Alex, but the mage girl was really joking. She would never actually hurt her friend, she would rather get sick all over again than hurt Alex or her other friends.

Laughing loudly as Naisha complained over being teased, only making Alex grin even more as she watched her friend blush. Humming a little as Naisha pretty much veto'd the idea of this getting out to anyone else. Of course Alex wouldn't reveal such embarrassing secrets of her friend, but she couldn't help but enjoy get a little reaction out of her and also confirm that these little secrets were just between them. The orphan felt like it was her special privilege and she'd treasure it. Perhaps it was a little bratty of her to tease Naisha into saying it just to make her feel better, but Naisha didn't seem to mind in the end.

At the mention of Naisha's mother, Alex snickered again. "Of course you wouldn't spoil it to your mom. Lady Rika would surely say.. 'Oh Nai! You're way too young to having any of those thoughts in your mind! You gotta wait until you're a big girl and all grown up and my approval before you give out kisses! No dating until your thirty!" Alex teased, lightly pulling her friend's cheek like some parent to their child in a playful scolding manner.

Releasing her hold at the plead mixed threat, Alex snickered and patted the reddened cheeks against the pale skin. "Yeah Yeah sure, and I'll give you a tickle attack if you do!" she smirked before sighing at the puppy dog technique. Always with that, and Naisha always wins with it. "Yeah don't worry. Promise. It'll be our little secret. Even if it would be funny to see the look on their faces. Naisha, already dreaming of kissing. To her best friend no less." she smirked, playfully winking as she stood straight, putting the tip of her right pair of fingers to her lips and blowing a kiss playfully with a smirk.

“You know, she might just say that... Unless she takes a real liking to a possible boyfriend or girlfriend... I suppose... “ Naisha began saying in kind of confused manner, not sure what to think at the moment.” Well the point is, I doubt she will let anyone who cannot fight get anywhere near me actually.” Nai grinned, her mother was a warrior after all. Few months ago, there was these people who came to try to arrange a marriage between their son and Naisha under the argument that she wasn't going to really find a husband with her body. Seems like they just wanted to make sure they have a token wife for him in a few years. Rika challenged their son to a sparring session to test him, then challenged the father and after beating both of them up, she threw them out of her home. Nai was Lulu and Wakka's place at that time for her studies so she only learned about that later.

“Remember, when those people a few years ago tried to arrange a marriage for the future between me and their son?” Nai asked, but she knew Alex already had known about that.” Well I hear the father and the son get fear attacks whenever they near Besaid now. It seems my mother left such a scary impression on them... I think she might never let me have a boyfriend.” Nai laughed.

“Hey, it was a dream! I have no control over it! Besides... we were all grown up in it.” Nai said as she blushed again at Alex teasing her. “ Besides it's easy for you to tease me about it, it's not like you lived through that dream! That being said, I wonder if we will really look like in my dream when we grow up. You were huge! So tall, cool and wearing a super cool looking black armor. You looked like a hero from some fantasy tale.” Nai said, with a smile.

“Besides, I'm sure you will turn out to be a ladykiller... You know that blond girl that lives near the Blitzball stadium, Arisa I think was her name. It seems she likes you~ She even came to teacher's place while I was training magic, to ask what types of food you like. Seems like she plans to ask you out on a picnic.” Nai let out a little information to her friend, that's what she got for teasing her!
