It's totally worth it though. If I can set it up to make both GMing and following the story and stuff a lot easier, it will basically save my life.

@Dead Cruiser Yeah, that's the work of publishers though. Not developers. No developers want to make serialized products that just recycle everything into a new iteration. It's boring.

Also you have GREATLY undermined Markiel's place in this world. He doesn't hunt deer (ok technically he does but that's because it tastes good) he hunts dragons (drakes when he's feeling a bit ill) and manticores and other monsters. When he's bored he hunts kings. Omega isn't just a sword it's a weapon forged by a god. Sure Mark isn't one of the crazy immortals on this roster, but don't you dare underestimate him as just a hunter. The arbiter decides the fate of all as nature would see fit!

And you know what nature sees of your little knight? Defeat, Endless Agony, Termination, "Hero-cide"

@ravendivinity I had figured it was fine because not everyone seems to be doing the same 'pacing', so to speak, with their first posts. Some peoples' only encompass a few minutes, others a day or more. Similarly, some peoples' posts are thousands of words and take up multiple sections, larger than any two that I could put together.

I'll try to hold off in the future regardless, my goal was just to keep from lagging behind. I personally feel that's a more accomplishable goal with a few medium-sized posts instead of one huge one.

If you'd like, I can delete the second post and edit it in as a second section to the first.

All kidding aside, you're leaning into Gary-Stu terrain just a bit. You're a super sharpshooter who can bend the very forces of nature to his whim, and have some sort of magical McGuffin weapon forged by the gods.

Basically, where does it end? Now you go with "hunts dragons and kings" etc. Etc.

Ansur wrestled three dragons to death and lived. Erebus killed a few, but he's freaking dragon blooded. Clarent killed seven in his life, and died from the last six. And as I've no doubt shown, fighting a dragon is no easy or simple feat.

So where does that leave you, who would go around like a renegade batman killing kings and dragons singlehandedly.

@DawnscrollI've never considered a dragon that scary. When you have 400 years to work your way up to fighting dragons its not a stretch to say hes slain his fair share.

Its always been his lore to assassinate kings. Catch them while traveling through a forest start by picking off guards, turn the horses against their riders, finally shoot king. He doesn't always kill sometimes just injure them to send a message. But this is what he does.

Ive tried to make it clear that his magic is slow and only powerful when he has a lot of time. Otherwise hell likely kill himself if he tries to rush spells.

Also a note on dragon hunting. He goes after single dragons when everything is in his favor he's not fighting 3 at once much less 6. Hes stalking prey building a plan and working like any sane predator would.

Edit: also when i say dragon im thinking big dangerous lizard with fire. Not sentient ancient magical lizard.

It was my understanding that we were playing human characters, with posthuman and shape-shifting characters as exceptions.

Maybe I'll be hit with a glorious amount of inspiration, but I just didn't have it for the intro. I'm just proud of the whole thing about breathing. It's the little things in life we forget about.
