Thomas Richard Harrison

Location: Level 2, "I need healing Pants."
Interacting with: Satilla & Mysterious Figure

Thomas, come back here, right now!
Half clothed one?
Boy might ought put some pants on...

Wait, what?

The sudden realization came to bear as the musty tower air against his bare legs. With fear of finding out what the others were raving on about Thomas dreadfully looked down, his eyes rolling over with a slight tip of his head. The daft draft was chilling, though the young sorcerer found himself ablaze at the cheeks. And seeing what he saw, Thomas could have died there of embarrassment, as his flush turned the tanned farmerboy's cheeks into a rosy display of humility. A jolt of his body made himself to cover his crotch with his hands, trying his best for the scrap of dignity he had left after showing the rest of the group behind him his cheeky backside. Gulping his damaged pride down with a hard swallow, the blushing boy shrunk himself back, retreating away from the bear and Kyra. Looking over his shoulder at Satilla who had suggested rather aptly he ought to get back from whatever may be going on. Thomas wasn't quite sure, and to be fair, his mind really wasn't on decoding whatever dark ritual was being done right now to whoever it was under the covers by whatever this man was.

Oh the irony. He had asked Satilla to afford him some privacy to rerobe, but now she saw his undergarments anyways. And the wolf that tore his robe didn't seem to bring the torn part into the room for Thomas to quickly grab and cover up with either. To which what could the lad do but cover himself up with his hands? His satchel at least perhaps, as he swung it around from his hip over to cover his nethers. A nearly mortified Thomas step back, hands free to cast now if necessary with the hanging courier pouch obscuring his coinpurse, although nothing really covered his arse from being seen by anyone behind him. To which he had hoped by standing at least equal to Satilla and behind the rest of the company, that much could be avoided for now. How much did Satilla already see anyways? The linen wrappings covered some, but certainly not all, Thomas's heart palpating at the social mistep. "T-thanks Satilla, I-I uh-Um... Yeah... Uh..."

What was the scrawny mage to do? Take off the remaining top half of his robe flip it around and wear them as pants? Grab his last robe and don that while in a possible battle? No there was no time for vanity at this point, and this minor covering afforded by his handbag had to do. Especially now if they were suddenly going to find themselves in another pitched battle as the answer to their burning questions regarding who this person was and what exactly was going on here. His already induced autonomic responses from being literally caught with his pants down made it that much easier to expect a fight coming on. Magical blood pumping through his body, Thomas was a ready a moments notice to use his void spell to pull any attacks back as his widened eyes focused in on an empty spot between the frumpled figure and the inanimate inmate. At least this spell allows Thomas to pick and chose who gets to face the crushing force of a gravity well, sparing Nor, Kyra, Keystone, and the Large Bear.

Then finally the issue of pants kicked in the back of the boy's mind:
Was there a decent tailor in this town? Or at least a robe shop to purchase some new outfits?

Hooded Figure
Location: Tower - 2nd Floor
Interacting With: The group
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The hooded figure chuckled as his head turned and looked over towards Thomas. A cynical sneer coming to his lips as his eyes twinkled slightly. His fingers curled against the ground as he remained hunched over in the crumpled heap he had shoved into. One could not see if he had a weapon on him or not but it seemed he had a few tricks up his sleeve. Or at least one rather devious one. With a nearly unnoticeable twitch of his fingers his lips moved but it seemed as if no sound came from them.

Then things changed. A piece of fabric that had one been held in the Dyre wolfs jowls dropped to the ground and Ash took an aggressive stance. Baring his large teeth and snapping slightly with a bark and a growl. The animal started to go towards the hooded figure, looking as if he was about to rip the throat out of the man before his lips could finish moving.

Ash came close to the mans face before suddenly turning and facing the rest of the group. "I suggest you stop and back off before you do more harm than good," he said as Ashs fur rose on the back of his spine. The animal Kyra had raised from a pup looked as if he was about to lung at Kyra and rip her slender body to shreds without a second thought.

Cyne

Location: Tower
Interacting with:Undead

The very substantial part of Cyne that saw the undead as an affront to nature and everything good and right in the world wanted to just crush the undead right there. Its chest was directly underneath the bear's paw, and with the great power that she had in this form, it would be a trifle to simply press down and end its wretched existence right then and there, making the world a slightly better place. But her senses were telling her that there was something more to this whole situation. The way the hooded figure was acting felt off, and the fact that this was an apparently ordinary, if mostly fresh undead when they had seen much worse evidently under his control piqued her curiosity.

Wondering what more she could learn from this undead, rather than simply cleansing everyone of its presence, Cyne took the sheet and pulled it even further until the thing was more or less completely exposed to the world. It wore similar pants and boots as the figure, with a crest of some sort on it, but nothing she could easily recognize. She half expected the thing to try going after her, but it just laid there staring and grunting dumbly. Any deeper connection required more information or someone smarter than her to try putting things together.

Sana

Location: The Tower
Interacting With: No one in particular
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sana had been stuck outside of the door and was apparently the last one to finally get into the room. It figured since she had been the one first in the other room but from the sounds of things the room that Ash had been paying attention to had more action going on in it. That was hardly ever a good thing. Keeping an arrow nocked in place as she had since she started up the stairs, she finally made her way passed the cracked door frame and stepped into the room.

Glancing around slowly she steppe din front of the half naked Thomas, not bothering to give him a look. Normally she would have, normally she would have had some smart assed remarked. Yet there seemed to be something else that caught ehr eye. Man on the ground wasn't it, the undead she couldn't see for the backside of the bear wasn't it. It was the dyre wolf baring his teeth at Kyra. That definitely had her attention. Sana knew that wolf, knew how Kyra had found it, how Kyra had raised it. Sure there was always a chance for a wild animal to turn but not like this. Kyra was Ashes alpha. Sana could feel her stomach tie in a knot. This didn't bode well.

Satilla Valen

Location: The Tower
Interacting With: The Group

Things were not going as planned or hoped at all. Thomas's hiney was comedy relieve to a point, but given the situation it was neither the time nor the place, especially since something else was going on and non of them were aware of it. This didn't appear as the lair of whomever attacked them in the orc encampment. This was someone else entirely it appeared and the witch was quite ready to believe that. What tipped her believe scale was the way non of them were really attacked or that there's been no real dangerous enemy like that red mist thing.

Now even Ash appeared ot have turned onto Kyra though it wasn't attacking right away either. The witch narrowed her eyes, throwing a look around the others, wondering if any of htem were also thinking about the difference between reality and what should have been in the lair of evil mastermind magician capable of getting that red mist thing and all those undead in the forest. She bit her lip, mind raging with ideas, but nothing good came to mind.

"Doesn't anyone else think... something's wrong with the whole picture?" Satilla asked, her voice slightly worried as she confirmed hte escape route to the door they were by." I'm not sure this one's responsible for the forest attack... things do not add up. There would have been more guards and more powerful ones."

Dead in a Bed
Location: Tower - 2nd Floor
Interacting With: A big bear
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

A dead in a bed had been laying there pretty much catatonic this entire time since the group had burst into the room. He lay there unmoving as the hooded figure had leaned over him. Didn't move when the hooded figure was shoved aside. Didn't move when the blankets were tossed back once and then a second time even further. The room was rather active and full at this point with Sana finally entering. People were talking, a wolf was growling. It had only grunted until this point.

Then that shit changed. Was it because a draft had finally hit the worn fabric of his trousers and a draft had crept over his undead skin? Was it because Satillas voice was more grating than the rest? Was it the wolf? No one in the group knew but the Dead in a Bed... Let's call him Bob. Why? Because I like Bob. I imagine a dead Bill Murry when I think of Bob. What about Bob? (google it) Well Bob sits straight up and reached up, just managing to grab ahold of the bears neck with one hand. He doesn't have a small hand but it looks damn small lost in the fur. Yet Bob has a hell of a grip on the trachea of the bear.

Sana

Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: No one
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Okay, so Bob is showing he has some life left in him. Maybe not a lot, but he has some. Sad thing is Sana can't see this movement. That is a bear standing in front of the bed. A big bear. A big fucking bear that stands a good six feet tall at least. How wide? Probably three feet without the fur. Thankfully it has fur because you ever seen a bear without fur? That's some scary shit. (google it.)

Anywho because of this. Sana isn't seeing the corpse, wait sorry... Bob. She isn't seeing Bob attack. She doesn't have some sixth sense. She can't see through the bear. Cyne hasn't had time to react yet. Bob isn't making anymore or less noise than he was before. Hell at her angle she can't even tell if the sheets moved. Not that she would if she could have. Thing is because Ash is growling at Kyra, Sanas attention is diverted anyways. So she is standing there, holding action for now, waiting because she doesn't know she needs to move to take a shot at Bob and doesn't want to risk letting an arrow loose yet through crowd before her to take out Ash. Granted she doesn't want to kill Ash either, he hasn't attacked, just acting PMSy - which after being around Kyra for years could just be because he's tired of her shit.

Kyra

Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: Ash
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

And on to the last one. Kyra is in prime position right now to see a lot of shit. Shit she doesn't want to see. The main thing she doesn't want to see if the fact that the wolf she has raised from a pup is suddenly over by this hooded figure who is in a tower surrounded by undead and growling at her like she just stepped on this damned tail. It isn't the first time that Ash has growled at Kyra. It comes with the territory when you are raising a Dyre Wolf. They are wild animals and never really are fully domesticated like a dog or broken like a horse. There is always some wild in them. Yet Kyra is his Alpha and her eyes narrowed slightly. "Not really a time to be challenging for Alpha Ash, back off," she said in a cool voice before her attention was turned to the other thing she really didn't want to see.

That was Bob sitting up while she was speaking and grabbing Cyne by the throat. "Oh bloody hell," she muttered as her grip tightened on her sword. She could might reach Bob with a single sword thrust if she did a deep lunge or hell even jumped but did she really want to get in the path of a bears paw swipe if that was going to happen? She wasn't sure but Kyra held her position and kept her eye on the hooded figure and Ash. She figured Cyne could handle an undead, the rest of them had gone down pretty quick. So for now, she was standing there waiting and hoping waiting didn't bite her in the ass.

Cyne (Defense)

Location: Tower
Interacting with:Undead

The inquisitiveness about the undead and its potential true purpose in this situation melted away into fury when the thing grabbed her throat. The inherent disgust at its very existence was still there, only amplified by the fact that it was touching her, but she was more pissed at herself for the fact that the thing made a move on her while she was distracted by her curiosity. She was in the middle of a fight, there was a turned Dire Wolf not 30 feet away from her. Now was not the time to be trying to investigate the hooded figure's motives.

The bear raised a paw up and planted it squarely in the center of the undead's chest, pushing down upon it with as much force as she could manage with a hand squeezing her windpipe. A loud ripping noise cut through the clamor of battle as the thing's grip failed under the force it was subjected to, but not before claiming a souvenir in the form of a patch of fur from her neck, the underlying skin bloodied in its absence. Yet despite this, the undead was still unharmed. That wasn't normal.

Satilla Valen

Location: The Tower
Interacting With: The Group

Yeah something was definately going wrong here and it couldn't be explained quite yet in the witch's mind. Satilla had the unleasant feeling they had missed or maybe ignored an important clue somewhere along the road. Ash rebelling like that was certainly indicator of things going way wrong and out of hand. Maybe a little too out of hand, if she was to be asked. What had the hooded figure done to cause this? Then there was also the fact that something was not right with the undead in the bed. The hooded one spoke about making things worse and that they had to leave, this gnawled at the back of her mind as she heard hte sound of ripping. That was a thing that came to complete surprise to her as she looked for the source, only to realize it probably and could only come from the bear that was blocking the view of hte undead in the bed.

"Cyne?" Satilla asked, reaching for her bag with potions, pulling a healing one to be ready." Hey, just tell us what you were doing here." She called the hooded figure." Were you the one responsible for the forest attack on the orks?" She asked, though she wasn't really expecting an answer, she was more concerned with the sound of ripping that came from the bear. It didn't sound like cloth ripping, so she wondered if the undead did something, but couldn't see from the druid so instead just waited with a healing potion in her hand, ready to use or throw.

Keystone

Location: Deymins Tower (2F)
Interacting With: What's all this, then?

To say that Keystone despised the Undead was obvious. It wasn't just the fact that they were awful, supposed-to-be-dead mockeries of life, nor that the corporeal ones were oft squishy and smelled like the lower half of a stomach illness. I mean, these things certainly helped Keystone's personal distaste along, but the fact that he kept being hurled against them was cause for considerable annoyance as well. Over time, he had become quite apt at pummeling them into oblivion about as fast as a Cleric could turn them away, but apparently today was not one of those days.

Possibly not the entire day; that had yet to be seen. The fact remained that right at that moment, Keystone could not really get at either of the enemies present. The thought occurred to him that he could attempt to wrestle away the big, fluffy dire wolf that had been ensorceled by that lugubrious little fartmuffin. He wasn't in a good position to do so right then, but a little edging to the side would be immensely helpful for this course of action.

He noticed that the largest single amount of motion came from the Dwarf, Nor. Keystone had a certain amount of respect for Dwarves and their culture. Most of them, anyway. Not all of them were the labor-intense, hard drinking beaters of wholesale ass that best represented their race. Some were... ...a little "off". One in particular came to mind, a socially misplaced fellow who went by the name of Obgyn; one of the rare few that could keep up with his own gaseous expulsions, though with far less control. The words of the bard Virgil flashed through his mind; a very brave soul who happened to be present for one of his more memorable moments in history and committed it to paper, for posterity's sake:

It could be said that Keystone was surprisingly well read for a big guy. In any case, the difficulty at hand needed some more time to play out before he could get his hands involved, and so, Keystone chose to hold his action, waiting for a clear moment to present itself.

Thomas Richard Harrison

Location: Level 2
Interacting with: The Situation, Ash, Kyra

Did you hear the clock strike high noon?
Did not the raptor cry and dust blow?
Did you hear the wind whistle the tune?
Did not the sheriff come to face his foe?
Did you hear the beating of their hearts?
Did not the climatic end begin to start?

The standoff. Hero and villain, good and evil, law and chaos. The musty tower air was tense, heavy with intrigue, and perhaps even laced with magic. Something had turned Ash astray, the dire wolf turning against them (and not just by ruining Thomas' robe) fur raised and ready. The unseen undead Bob stirring at last, and it seemed doing something to the bear and a terrible ripping sound was resonated like the belltower chime. The unidentified figure, Leo for the sake of the reference, had done clearly something. But still something was not right about it all, something they had surely missed since they weren't dead yet. The vampire fart nearly killed them after a bout of explosive undead. If indeed Leo was responsible for all this, then why the restraint? Was it still too much daylight to prevent the dark arts from working? A wild theory, but right now Thomas was more focused on keeping his spell ready taking into account the presence of Ash looking readier to maul and maim like a dog that bit the master's hand. Holding his action and his tongue until a critical moment to pass, a hair trigger as he kept himself on edge. If Ash did leap into the fray, then summoning the void would at least pull the hound back. Although Kyra and Nor would have to be on their toes to avoid getting too close into the cosmic cyclone, Bob and Leo would certainly be fair targets to be sucked into the vortex.

"Easy boy." Thomas' farmboy background evident in the tone of his voice. A quick glance at Kyra as his outstretched hand aimed his focus at the wolf. He wasn't going to hurt the traveling companion, but, well the wolf might be pulled back into a wall for a moment. And being thrown against a wall wasn't the best feeling in the world, so the farmboy looked at Kyra for her blessings to keep Ash from going berserk on them. After all, the way she shot daggers at him for nearly killing Sana was more pressure than Thomas could handle. Nearly killing a bewitched Ash, well...

Actually maybe if the Puppeteer's concentration was broken...
Thus with a slight tilt of his waist the young sorcerer found a new target.
The space visualized just infront of Nor. A greater chance for the dwarf to be pulled in.
But hey, the metal barber had his armor so he should be okay.
And now Ash and Leo would feel the greater effects of gravity.
Maybe. Assuming Thomas' spells didn't fail him.

Ash
Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: Kyra, Thomas
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The fur on Ashes back rose more and he bared his teeth greatly at Kyra as she told him to back off. His paws sprawling out on the ground some as his head lowered. He seemed to position himself more between the rest of the group and the man on the ground. His teeth snapped and he let off a small warning bark as Kyras hand tightened its grip on the hilt of her sword. The woman had not moved yet so it seemed the wolf would not move yet.

Then the farm boy spoke to him and his eyes darted over to him - yet one couldn't actually tell which way the Dyre wolf was looking considering his head didn't turn in the direction of the voice and his eyes were no longer the glimmering green they had been but completely black. There was no iris, no pupil, just blackness. It was at that moment that it would probably become clear to anyone that had even been around magic for more than five seconds that Ash was not in control of his senses right then and something else was.

Kyra
Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: Ash, Thomas
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The white haired ranger had been trying to hold her movements, waiting for someone else to strike the first blow. Bob did and it wasn't good but thankfully Cyne had batted him away. Yet Kyra could see the large patch of fur that had been ripped away. Okay, this was changing things and quickly. It was not changing for their favor either as Ash seemed to be getting more and more hostile towards her by the minute. Then Thomas spoke and Ash no longer looked like himself. Those were not the same glowing eyes that she had looked into since he was a pup, that was something else.

Turning her head slightly she looked over towards Thomas and noticed his hand. Looking back up at him she shook her head no. No one was going to harm Ash. At least not some kid off the street that had nearly killed her best friend once before. Lord knew what he would do to a Dyre wolf. Most people were just looking for an excuse to kill them. If anyone was going to deal with Ash it was going to by Kyra. She was his Alpha, she had raised him, she was his mother in a sense, and if someone had to put him down because he was possessed (or some such nonsense) it would be her. Yet before she looked away from Thomas she motioned with her eyes towards the bastard on the ground that Ash seemed to be protecting.

Making her attention go back to Ash, she knew she had to move and move quickly. She just hoped that Thomas picked up on what she was getting at just then. Slowly she knelt down, bending her knees cautiously as she looked as if she was putting her weapon down. "Aeria Eir, o eisi ber kyl sai cali sai thysoli ti thys sor sher air car sai shi pyli." She hoped this would work, or at least enough to keep things from getting deadly between her and Ash. As she knelt and spoke she froze for a second before she dropped her sword and spung at Ash. Wrapping her arms around his neck and attempting to knock him off to the side. She was able to pull hi to the side slightly, away from the hooded figure and Nor and now was down low enough that she didn't have to worry about her head being taken off by an arrow or a spell coming on over the top.

Nor

Location: Tower
Interacting with:Hooded Figure

See, this was exactly the kind of shit that Nor had been trying to prevent by striking first, but the fact that the mage had gotten the chance to do anything at all changed the whole situation. Immediately going in for the kill might stop him from doing any more trickery, but that was no guarantee that anything he'd done while still drawing breath would be undone. All the undead that he'd created, whatever he did to the furball to get its balls in a twist, and anything else could still act as they had.

So his aim changed from outright elimination to the more risky, but more socially accepted non-lethal submission. Still running full-speed, the dwarf entered the range where he did best: close quarters. As he closed in on the man Nor dropped his already low center of gravity, resembling a bullet train (had those things existed) more than a dwarf and barreled into the caster with his entire weight behind him. His arms hooked back behind the taller mans and down they both went. Once on the ground, it was child's play to pin the hooded figure down and introduce his neck to the business end of his knife.

"Might want tae call off the wolfie and the corpses if'n ye know what's good for ye."

Cyne

Location: Tower
Interacting with:Undead

It would take more than a simple shove to sate the fury that had awoken in Cyne's breast. That was merely how she'd reacted to save her windpipe from being crushed. No, there was still far more to do to the reanimated body laying in the bed. The bear raised its paw overhead like a fist and brought it down with the might of Mother Nature behind it.

When one strikes through any kind of material, they don't actually feel what they're striking as they do it. The motion is too quick and the sense of touch is not fast enough to instantaneously register sensations. The only indication of Cyne's successful attack that could be registered as soon as it had occurred was a soft crunching noise deadened only further by the soft bed underneath. It was not until after the strike had rung true that she could feel the cool, wet innards twisted and broken around her paw or see that her attack had blown right through the corpse's chest. And yet it still showed signs of unlife. The bear growled in frustration at the wretched thing. If that wasn't enough, maybe she'd just have to maul the accursed thing until it ceased to resemble a human.

Hooded Figure
Location: Tower - 2nd Floor
Interacting With: Nor
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The hooded figure just stayed where he was and smirked at those around him. Had they no idea whom they were dealing with? It seemed that way. Normally this would not have been an issue and he would have welcomed a little tit for tat but right then he was working on something far more important than dealing with these ruffians. He was about to speak when he was suddenly struck and hit the ground with a resounding thud that nearly knocked the wind out of him. When he regained his momentary lapse of sense there was a blade beneath his neck and a dwarf on top of him.

Yet the words the armored wrecking ball uttered did not seem to phase him even as he swallowed lightly. This wasn't going to deter him. He had another trick up his sleeve. "Don't blink or you just might miss something," he uttered as his smirk grew. Then he winked at the dwarf, actually winked at him. Yet by the time his eye reopened he was on the table to the side and his smirk was gone. "Just remember you brought this on yourselves." It seemed there was more to this man that met the eye.

Ash
Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: Kyra
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Who knew what a dyre wolf thought when they were suddenly tackled and brought down by a little white haired ranger. Maybe he didn't have time to think, probably was best because he obviously wasn't in his right mind just then as the two started to roll around on the ground for a moment before Ash was on his backside and used all four of his strong legs to push Kyra off him and send her flying through the air and onto the a low book shelf. It toppled over, spilling out old books covered in dust and Kyra laid out on top of the splintered wood.

Rolling off his back Ash came up to right himself, on all fours at he growled and hunched down low looking at the pile of wood and Kyra he had created when he threw her off of him. His fur was standing on edge and now that he had defended himself he rolled with - intent on finishing the job but something in his eyes changed and the dark nothingness seemed to fade away to brilliant green. Maybe he had been saved and Kyra had knocked some sense into him.

Sana

Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: Hooded Figure
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

All hell was breaking loose around her and she was really wanting a vacation right then. A bear was dealing with something she still couldn't see. Nor had tackled the hooded man, Kyra had jumped Ash and Ash had sent Kyra flying. That was all bad enough but the hood figure had some how managed to get away from Nor and was now standing and warning all of them as he stood on a desk. This was getting to be a bit much and she just wanted it over. Yet she didn't want it to have to be over the way it was seeming to play out.

Sana was closest to Ash and Ash was facing Kyra, she couldn't see his eyes, she couldn't decern he didn't seem to want to attack Kyra again. Most probably wouldn't either even seeing him and being in the heat of battle. She heard growling and saw Kyra laid out on a pile of what used to be a book shelf. Her arrow had been nocked into place since they had reached the floor and she hadn't lowered it. Breathing out she took aim. It was the best she could come up with. She just hoped it would work and that no one would hate her for it in the end. If they did, oh well. It was a snap decision in a split second of time.

The arrow flew from the bow and slipped right by Keystones ear. It hit the best mark she could come up with at the time. The left shoulder of the hooded figure. Sana wasted no time drawing another arrow and nocking it into place. She could have had a much simpler time going and shooting at Ash but then if she killed him or seriously injured him she would have to deal with Kyra and that was a fight she wanted to avoid. So she tried for the one that was causing all hell. Sure, she could have accidentally hit Keystone but he was big, he could take an arrow right? At worst she would have pierced his ear and every adventurer needs an earring. Didn't matter then though, she had hit her mark and all was well with the world. (At least as well as it could be)

Satilla Valen

Location: The Tower
Interacting With: The Group

"Kyra!" Satilla shouted as the dire wolf hurled his owner...master...alpha! It took her a moment to decide on the exact word that fitted the situation best. There were things going on that set of the alarms in the witch's head right away and the man's words continued to be among them. The way he spoke made it seemed that they may unleashe something way worse, but htey had gotten too involved in this combat." Anything broken?" Satilla asked the ranger, ready to pull a healing potion from her bag, but for now she simply kept her stance without moving from her position.

The witch was located more or less right beteen Thomas and Kyra who was laying on the toppled bookshelf. Not the ideal position for a witch, but nothing to be done right now. Thus she just waited for an opportunity or ro simply get better grab of the situation. There would be a better time to act than right now, a wrong move could be teh end, then again a wrong withholding form action too. She hoped the latter was not the current case.

Cyne

Location: Tower
Interacting with:Undead

Lots of things were going on around Cyne and the bedridden undead, and they were all quite important; however, she didn't give a damn about any of that at the moment. She was laser focused on destroying the abomination before her that had the gall to rip out her neck fur. The bear swung again at Bob, striking once again, and turned its shoulder into gravel. Another swing and the offending arm was entirely separated from Bob's body.

In the aftermath of the blow, the limb soared through the air, spraying dark biological fluid that was probably blood once all over the room. It fell to the floor with a soft thud, but it didn't remain still. Like a wind-up toy that refused to die, the damned limb flopped around ineffectually. Speaking of things refusing to die, the undead still carried on in unlife, mocking Cyne with its continued existence. With every successive attack, the druid's anger grew more with how absurdly durable it was. She was going to slay this thing if she had to spend the rest of the day tearing apart, bit by bit.

Kyra
Location: The Tower - Second Floor
Interacting With: Satilla
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Kyra felt the wind get knocked out of her as she went crashing into the bookshelf. She could feel the wood impacting against her ribs and knew that if they survived this she would wake up in several shades of bruised come the next morning. Gasping for breath she rolled over onto the splintered pile of rubble and finally found her wind, drawing in a breath sharply and coughing roughly as she nodded. "I....I'm good," she hacked out as she tried to recover. She had no idea if anything was broken right then but she was slowly able to stand up.

Her bow had gone flying off her as she was knocked through the air and was now against the wall behind the rubble. She had set her sword down before she tackled Ash so now it was on the other side of her growling companion. That left her with her daggers. Wiping the blood away from the corner of her mouth she drew two from her thighs and got ready. Thankfully, despite the pain she was able to notice that Ash wasn't about to attack her but has eyes were back to the same moonlight green she had grown to know so well. "Ash, kill," she said with a smirk as she crouched down some more.

Hooded Figure
Location: Tower - 2nd Floor
Interacting With: Generally Everyone
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The hooded figure was none to happy that his little spell over the Dyre wolf had been broken but there was nothing to be done about it now. He could have tried to take control again but that would have been a waste of time. He needed to cull the numbers against him at least momentarily. So, he did what he did best, turned the tables from being against him to be in his favor. He had to do two things to do that and he did them quickly.

First was thinning the numbers. It was one thing when he had the gray wolf on his side. That means three against seven. It wasn't great odds but it was better than 2 (well 1.8 since Bob was missing an arm) against 8. Before Ash, Satilla, and Kyra knew it the floor gave way beneath them as a grin grew on the hooded figures features. It wasn't though as if the floor had crashed. No, they melted through it, as if it was quick sand and they were spit out on the first floor beneath the rest. That helped. Five against 2 (1.8) now. Still, not favorable enough for him.

So with a blink of the eye, the Hooded figure seemed to go, up, and through the ceiling above to the next floor up. Don't worry though, he didn't leave you all alone. No one was alone right then. On the first floor, rising above the trio was a creepy crawly from nightmares. A Centipede! (These things re bad enough when they are six inches long but fifteen feet? Hope you are wearing your shitting pants because you are about to shit your pants.) On the second floor, left behind in his wake, were two boars...One(A) would have been a good 8ft tall if he were to stand on his hind legs, the other(B) was slightly smaller, looking as if he would only be 7ft. None of these animals looked "normal." The desk beneath B, crushed under its weight.

Satilla Valen

Location: The Tower, Floor 1
Interacting With: Kyra

Many things weren't great with this situation, but the thing that happened was among the few that Satilla would have avoided if given the choice in the matter. Sadly she wasn't so Kyra, Ash and her were sank through the floor as if it was damned quicksand and fell down on the ground floor without much fanfare in the matter.

A surprised yelp was followed by an extremely surprising display of luck and acrobatic basics as she landed on her legs, bending them slightly to soak the impact and using her hands to balance it out so she doesn't fall. She threw a look at Kyra who was on her bum and Ash that appeared like he fell alright.” Alright, it's goo..” She was about to say in joy everything mostly sorted itself out, when she heard a creepy crawly noise from the other side of the room. She looked at it only to see a real horror.” NOT GOOD AT ALLLLLLL!” She shouted, throwing a look at Kyra again, but this time bolting towards her.

She tripped, but somehow caught herself and avoided crashing and shattering all potions in her bag. She managed to get herself to the ranger in haste, placing a hand on the other's shoulder, immediately activating her Cure Major Wounds spell and then Cure Minor Wounds spell right after it for good measure. She couldn't be too careful with that shattering of furniture with Kyra's body from earlier.

Thomas Richard Harrison

Location: THE FLOOR IS LAVA! (Floor 2)
Interacting with: The Wild Hogs, The Group, Little(r) Pig A.

Turn the hourglass,
Ten thousand grains,
Time to slowly pass;
Trickle down drain.

It seemed that Ash had come to, after a bit of roughhousing with Kyra, but they weren't out of the doghouse yet. This mysterious man, Leo, seemed to be more magically inclined than he let on. One moment he was there guarded by Nor, the next, well... Elsewhere. Enchantments could be broken by some application of some escape mechanism, usually traumatic stimuli that would snap a mind to revert to a more primal state usually untouched by enchantment spells. But teleportation was a finer art that required a caster to not only know where they are and where they desire to be, but also where they will be during transit. There were some cases of transpositions resulting in spellcaster deaths, usually involving spatial complexities of the first nine dimensions which turn the magus inside out at the destination. Thomas himself used a method that bypassed the limitations of the first nine dimension by jumping beyond them and into the far realm where the dark stars ruled. But enough theory, this was a situation based in reality. A reality in which the floor was melting. Dissolving like the sands of an hourglass, pulled through the eye of the needle, and there Ash, Kyra, and Satilla were sent crashing down.

"Fistandantilus' Grave! Sat-" A mild exclamation as Thomas took a step towards the sudden sinkhole, but the boy was too late. All three were gone, well four if you count the enemy magi. And in their stead two big bad pigs. Porcine pummelers, although by the looks of things they weren't boring old boars. No, a farm boy know his livestock, a boar or two wasn't too uncommon out in the countryside, lost pigs after a few years did get wilder and more aggressive after generations as their feral side took over. These weren't as much feral as demonic, and were as demonic as they were ugly, they were Ugly. Still though, since it seemed to be part of Thomas' niche to identify what it was they were facing the sorcerer gulped and turned to face the smaller of the two large hogs trigger hand ready to cast. "Fiendish Boars! Sana, I'll need some help with the small one.."

Without a confirmation, and instead putting a good amount of faith and trust into a teammate, Thomas unleashed his long held spell. His eyes darkening as emptiness turned his sclera black, swallowing all light from the usually brightness of his eyes. In turn the boar would feel a force tugging at its body, just behind the bashed bookcase where Ash and Kyra played, the gravitational void cast. A tear in the universe, a hole to be be filled, a hunger for anything within range it could consume. Though Thomas could not see the spells effects,
the gravity did its job in pulling the smaller boar back into the furnishings, battering it about to its fiendish ruckus as blood seeped out from the split hide the injuries made
The greater the darkness blinding the boy, the greater the force of the gravity well until Thomas' vision was gone leaving him open for a counter attack. It was the price for the spell. Of which, was the price their enemy paid to summon these boars here? And warping the floor like... That.

Hopefully Satilla, Ash and Kyra would be okay. Especially Satilla since she'd be the one to patch up Kyra and Ash...

Nor

Location: Tower
Interacting with:Boar B

One moment Nor's got that hooded bastard in a dominated position, one wink later and he's on the floor. By the time her turned around, both he and half of the room's inhabitants vanished into thin air. In their place were two giant boars. Under his breath he cursed spellcasters for being arrogant defilers of the natural order. Anyone else would at least have the courtesy of freeing himself in a way that made sense.

Well at least they were beasts. He could understand how beasts worked, and if worst came to worst, then they'd be having ham for dinner tonight. But before that, he had to take some things into account. He was small and those boars were quite large. Yes, he might be wearing full plate, but that wouldn't protect him from obscene amounts of blunt force. Furthermore, his short stature made him more vulnerable to their primary weapons of tusks and hooves.

So clearly the place to be was above the cheeky pigs, where he'd also coincidentally be in position to stab its pretty little neck. The dwarf pushed off from the ground and in the span of a moment sprung from the ground and latched on the boar as a baby gorilla clings to its mother's fur. His grip held fast as the porker thrashed in protest to his presence, and before his turn was up, he managed to seat himself right on top of the summoned creature.

Keystone

Location: Deymins Tower (2F)
Interacting With: Das Uberboar B

As it turned out, Keystone's moment happened with speed and surety, but in the most ass way possible. The sudden disappearance of some of his team plus the bad guy, only to be replaced with two BOUS's (Boars Of Unusual Size? I don't think they exist...), one of which was atop a broken desk with a mildly unhinged Dwarf riding it like the star of a porcine rodeo. On the one hand, the broad pugilist was impressed. It took a bit of intestinal fortitude to grab hold of a gargantuan pig and try to maintain for eight seconds. On the other hand, while it did rather look like fun, they had a job to do.

But that was no reason to treat it like a chore.

"Bloody 'ell, we're 'avin' CHOPS TONIGHT!" he exclaimed through the din of battle, deftly sidestepping to the creature's flank and turning his body's inertia into an initial, shuddering punch. It made connection with the beast, issuing a fleshy report of impact. With practiced ease, Keystone took a half-step forward, setting up a stable base of footwork from which he threw another another punch, this one a straight, verted fist strike that likewise hit home on the creature's side. Such a pounding would likely down a normal man; possibly an abnormal one or two. This mammoth ham-factory was something different.

An unlikely thought crossed Keystone's mind as the fight commenced - He didn't like Necromancers much, but it was the rare one that would that would provide supper after a hard fight.
