[OOC] Gang RP: The Rise

We are a family here, only you chose to be a part of this family, and we can choose if we no longer want you here. The world is tough, and our job is to make sure you are ready for it. Welcome to Block 66. Here, there is more love in our little fingers than in most families tied by blood. You want to be part of this family, you have to prove yourself first. But I’m not going to tell you how to prove yourself, that is something you have to figure out. For those you lucky enough to be here, you have to earn your keep. You get a job and, depending on your pay, part of your salary goes to the welfare of the gang. If you do not have a job, you help with the deliveries, and I don’t mean delivering flowers. With enemies all around us and everyday being a survival and struggle, if you stick with the gang, you should be fine.

In this RP, you can choose to be a gang member, a police man, a corrupt police man, a person wanting to join the gang, a rogue gang member, or something else (Ex: being a member of a allied gang...that's if I approve it of course). You're free to do whatever as long as it doesn't throw a wrench into the planned storyline. There will be times where during the story, I'll need all hands on deck for a situation or just a few in a scenario. What will be happening here is that the group is on the rise to gain power and reputation. So we will face rival gangs, gain territory, hustling, creating networks..so on so forth. All of this will be under the motive to look out for the family and to make sure everyone can get by in the city.

This is like a prequel to the last RP. So...ones who were on the last one, you have the choice to use the same characters as before or create a new character. If you can make changes and adjustments for the characters you used before if you so choose to. This will go back a few years when the gang not too long got started and the original leader was still leading. So with that said....

1) No speed posting. Please allow at least two posts to go between your last post and your next post.
2) This should go without saying, but no God-Moding. No instant hits or kills or ultimate dodging. Give the other poster's character that your character is attacking, a chance to act in return. Let's try to be fair and honorable in our IC combats. (There may be times where I may instant/automatically hit your character if it's part of an event of the story but I will not kill or seriously injure your character.)
3) Please be respectful of other players. If someone attacks your character, don’t just ignore the post because you “didn’t like it.” The respect should also carry into the OOC room.
4) Violence, profanity, and romance are allowed, BUT...don't go too far. If you want to go X rated, take that shit to the PM.
5)Please post your CS on the OOC first for approval before sending to the character's tab.

Bio: Alyssa joined the gang when she was fifteen, around the time her abusive father kicked her out of her house. She didn't have any where to go after this. She didn't know most of her family members and her mom was dead. Her mom died when she was four and she doesn't remember much. Before she was kicked out of her house she had some previose engagement on trying to join the gang. It took her two months of hard determination to get in the gang. She got the part after she made a deal with one of the members who is sadly now dead. She doesn't know much about the death or cared to look into it, as long as she isn't blamed for it.
Personality: She is very stuburn and can be quite mean whether or not she is trying to be or not. She is very determined to do something she is interested in. She is not much of a partyier but tends to do it anyways despite her hate for crouds and load noises. She can be very lazy at times also. She is sneaky and selfish also and will do a lot of things for her own good before sh even thinks about anyone else in the world. She acts as though she doesn't have a care in the world.

Paul Ivolgin

Affiliation/ Rank: Associate of the Gang, Leader of Russian mob in the city.

Appearance:

Bio: Ivolgin was born in Russia during the time of the Soviet Union. Always a quiet child, Ivolgin knew that in order to be listened to, it had to mean something when you spoke, and he has continued to serve by that mantra. Ivolgin became involved in organized crime at a young age, serving as an enforcer and soldier. Ivolgin quickly became known as someone who got jobs done, and established quite a few connections in the corrupt Soviet regime through bribery, threatening, and extortion. A rich man, Ivolgin came under intense scrutiny by the few who still believed in Marxist politics, but he rarely met those folk more than once, and they met few others after Ivolgin. After the Berlin Wall fell and the new Russian Federation was formed, Ivolgin found himself with few contacts, and a now powerful police force gunning for his arrest, using what remained of his contacts, Ivolgin fled to America, quickly taking over the city's chapter of the mob, establishing himself as a powerful force. Ivolgin has multiple gangs that he gives work to, aids financially, and attempts to absorb into his group, and the Gang is one of these pet projects of his.

Personality: Ivolgin is quiet and brooding, and he is always thinking and observing, a common saying amongst his underlings is that Ivolgin knows more about you than you do yourself. When angered, Ivolgin is still quiet, but as if it was carried on the air, his anger is still noticeable. Ivolgin hates betrayal and values loyalty above all else, which has cost him, as loyal folk are not always the most capable. Imposing and near silent, Ivolgin is still an affectionate friend, and enjoys the company of those he trusts, and has a very dry sense of humor.

Other: Ivolgin is a skilled marksman, speaks Russian fluently and English near-fluently, enjoys Russian folk music, is a skilled dancer, hates spiders above all else, and often tames stray dogs.

A captain would be an individual who are in charge and handles one of the gang's operations in a specific area and leads his own crew in the gang. As far is the ranking, The leader is on top and the leader would have an underboss, who is right below the leader, who oversees the captains (which can be more than one because of the size of the gang.) under the captains are soldiers. Under soldiers, newbloods or recruits.

Bio: Layla had the perfect life, perfect parents, perfect school and the 'perfect' boyfriend back at her highschool years. They were all so perfect and were always there for Layla every time she needed them. But that all went down south when Layla and her boyfriend broke up because he had to go away for college as soon as they graduated from high-school. Layla in the other hand went to a college near her school because her parents were too stupid not to let her grown as daughter go, she had a choice too but she decided to stay with her parents. Especially because her mother was sick. But anyways, not to put the whole Layla's story into this.

Layla was a hacker in college, she was never caught by none of the police officers, a great hacker at that and at times she uses her skills to help out her friends if they needed it. Like changing the school lunch menu or their grades, something that Layla has never done before would be to attempt to steal someone's money. Now that was harsh, right? And then she quit college and decided to join in a gang where Layla would use her skills to help out the gang in what they need, but this time.. it was serious.

Personality: Layla is the type of girl to speak whatever comes to her mind, she's straight-forward and doesn't care if the truth hurts to the others. She's real and will keep a secret till death due her. Layla likes to babble a lot whenever she's nervous or probably when she's at her angry state, at times she rather punch someone instead of something. She has a loud mouth, and a very nasty one at that she likes to swear a lot and don't let her pretty face fool you. Layla knows some pretty deadly moves that would snatch a guy with her looks but make him fall on the ground in about three seconds. She's loyal to her friends[the gang] and would do anything to make sure that they are alright, even if she had to kill someone.. which probably won't happen, maybe. Layla is confident in herself and her body, she doesn't really show off much skin but if she has too, in order to impress someone or perhaps seduce someone then she's your girl. Oh, and she's very good with the computers, a talented hacker at that.

Other: Layla is terrified of spiders, obviously she may look like a bad ass but if you want to defeat Layla? Just put a tarantula in-front of her and she will automatically faint. Mhm.

Bio: Anton was born in Kursk. As a child he would spend his life learning and getting oppsesed with racing from his father who was famous illegal street racer. When he was 16 his father got injured badly and was arrested by police. To aid his family he decided to get jobs from locals, but it wasnt enough to help. So when he turned 19, he choose fathers route and started being street racer. He made quiet a name as street racer, winning many races and being in top 5 street racer in Kursk. However, police has noticed this and has attempted multible arrests, but thanks to his driving skills he managed to escape. When his mother died of heart disease, he left his siblings who were young adults and has gone to Ukraine to go to the USA, due to increasing tensions with police. When he arrived there he continued what he did best, street race. However, recently racing wasnt enough profitable for him, so he once joined bank heist crew to rob money, being the one who plans the bank heist. He pulled out few sucsessful bank heists. However, when his crew got arrested and he got barely out of police way, he decided it was not worth it. So when he heard about Ivolgin mob, he decided that he would like to join them. He impressed Ivolgin by showing his skills with leadership, driving and weapons skills, he also impressed by showing his history as street racer and bank heist crewman. So Ivolgin decided to welcome to his mob. Anton has been in mob for 1 and half year and he has proven to be capable gangster, he also improved his skill with guns and swords when he was in the gang. Hes currently Tactican and Combat Leader of Ivolgin mob.

Personality: Anton is usually gentlemen and honest man, hes also usually kind to his friends and family members. However, he can me somewhat rude to non-Ivolgin gangsters. Also hes loyal, especially to his gang/mob.

Weapons, Equipment and Car: His main weapon of choice is Fort-17 and his custom made sword nicknamed "Shark", if situation demands some extreme measures he uses Heckler & Koch UMP and wears Type I Bulletproof Vest. He owns 1995 BMW M3 GT with some modifications like small arms bullet proof glass and tires. It also has some newer tech stuff like GPS and better BMW suspension.

Strenght: Experienced Tactican and Combat Leader, good at using weapons, mostly short ranged weapons like shotgun, SMG, pistols and swords. Good at driving and has skills with repairing vehciles. He has decent strenght and hes tall, his main physical advantage is that he has minor pain resistantce, punches and kicks are less effective because of that, but anything more than this is still gotta be painful for him.

Weaknesses: He only has decent strenght, making overpowering with strenght an option if you manage to disarm his weapon. Dosent have right tools nor much experience to fight in long ranges, so shooting him with a rifle from long range is generaly decent choice. He dosent have good stamina, so tiring him out might be good idea, tough since hes experienced tactican he will be aware of that and will try to avoid weakness being exploited by falling back. His health isnt very good, he has allergy to honey and he gets painful headcache randomly, tough they are not serious or fatal, but headcache could be a problem in combat.

Likes: BMW cars, historical stuff, swords, video games, people with intellect, cats, Playing guitar.
Dislikes: Armed Policemen/SWAT, drugs, soup, bad drivers.
Fears: Is somewhat afraid of dogs since a boy, afraid to fail his comrades in times of need.
