Azerus sighed as Moeasha complained with worry. Well by his actions and demeanour that appeared to be how he read her words.
He look at down at his open hands as if contemplating something, then finally shrugged it off.

Nearing the dense cloud Azerus stands, having no difficulty finding his balance.
He slightly twists his head as he listens to the winds carefully.
"Ok, give it a try." he whispers to her.

........

Fortunately it was real fog, drawn to magic crystals placed around the outskirts of a small island. Hidden behind the fog was an island only 50 meters wide, there were a few fruit trees, a nice little shack and a decent sized house boat anchored at the other end. An open fire roasted some fish surrounded by two bearded men and a woman with long dreadlocks.

They would all look to Azerus and Moeasha with a stunned surprise.

"Fine,I'll join"he said but the fear of it happening again overwhelmed Max.He promised himself at that moment if it happens he will leave and never return he will not hesitate,he will not put these people in danger like the others.

Moeasha breathed deeply and concentrated. The fog was not magical in nature, and it slowly drifted away at Moeasha's command. The island that appeared before them was not what Moeasha expected to see at all. The boat made it to the shore, bumping along with the tide. Moeasha stood, ready to defend herself if needed against the three occupants of the tiny island.

@RaeoftheLight "Aye, you be wizards?" A large broad shouldered, tanned man calls out in a gruff voice.
His friend, more slender and stylish with his black hair slicked back, looks on nervously as he toys with a few small silver rings between his fingers while quietly mumbling something to his friends.
Meanwhile disdain for the interruption sits heavily upon the short hippie woman's face. Her lips are pressed tight and she says nothing.

Azerus steps off the boat with a splash. Even the smallest of the three are still bigger than him, even so he still holds that stupid confident grin as he balls his hands into fists by his sides.
The islanders haven't noticed yet.

Sensing the rising tension, and noticing Azerus' attitude, Moeasha pasted a placating smile on and stepped forward. "Yes, we are wizards. Sorry for bothering you, but we came from the fishing village back on the mainland," Moeasha gestured back where they had come from, "And we're trying to find the source of a recent attack on the village. Do you all happen to know what caused it?"

All three of them looked to each other and back to Moeasha, each holding to their previous emotion.

The big man shakes his head. "Sorry we can't help you there. Anything else we can do for you?"

The slick thinner man's eyes go wide and he unconvincingly shakes his head.

The woman scowls. "Why are you accusing us? We don't know nothing about it nor do we want anything to do with those cruel brain dead wizard haters! If something bad is happening serves them right tho!"

Both men instantly stare daggers at her. The larger man tries to cover the hostility with a chuckle.

Azerus looks back at Moeasha with an expecting glare.
'well? What now?' his eyes were asking.
He was giving her time to do this her way.

Mia smiled at Jocelyn's welcome. "Thank you!" She replied while imitating her curtsy.

"Okay!" Mia replied Charles and Lance cheerily, excited for her first mission. "I'll be back soon!" She called out as she ran out of the guild hall as fast as she could. Mia continued running until she reached her home, quickly grabbed all the things she deemed necessary for travelling, and ran back into the guild hall, slowing down to a stop in front of the entrance. Spotting Lance, she waved to him in a greeting.

Moeasha nodded, and turned to Azerus. "We search the island, yes? These three know nothing, but there may be something else on the island causing the attacks." She then turned back to the trio and bowed her head in thanks. "We much appreciate your time."

Having said her piece, Moeasha turned to further search the island, expecting Azerus to follow. She was quite oblivious, truly believing the three wizards were telling the truth, despite their contrary actions.

When the two ran off Charles would chuckle then head off towards his home to refill his bag of supplies, including summoning supplies. "some shikigami would be good... this amethyst necklace incase things get bad... and some small basic gems for some mid range summons" he says putting them all in his bags, he had tired to stock up on as much materials as he could over his time at the guild. when he would be ready, he'd head back to the guild to meet up with the others. "you two are quick" he says having been the last one to arrive. he'd chuckle "you two all ready?" he asks "something probably will go wrong like most missions" he says "especially with something demon related"

Azerus gave Moeasha a bemused smirk, but relaxed and followed suit.

The three islanders huddled together at the wishes of the twitchy one.
Azerus only added to the mans nerves by eyeballing him continually.
Their words couldn't be herd but their tones were clear.
The big man was laid back, the woman agressive and the thin guy worried.

As Azerus followed Moeasha around the island the mist had began to reform.
It circled around them hiding the ocean but leaving vision on the island clear.
There was nothing much of note on the island except for a few oversized shells and some tiny coins that fascinated Azerus.
While inspecting the plants Moeasha will find vines very simular to those that attacked them only 100th of the size. (If she can work it out)

Mean while the woman finally decides she has had enough and with the support of 'twitch', out numbers 'big n carefree' and decides to tell the investigative duo to move on.

Azerus lifts his brows and looks to Moeasha. Truth was as much as he tried to cover it he was feeling quite exhausted too, but the stubborn glare in his eyes told her he wouldn't leave without finding out more.

Ignoring the woman's request for them to leave, Moeasha asked instead "These vines," she held a piece of one up that she had torn off, "What are they? We will leave this place, just as soon as we find a way to help the village. You are welcome to assist us to have us gone quicker." Moeasha awaited their answer, noticing the fog had returned. Oh well, she thought, I will send it away again when we are through here. In fact, the water hanging in the air was helping Moeasha renew her magical strength, and in another hour or so she would probably be ready to fight another vine creature. Hopefully she would not have to, though.

Lance smiled waving hey back at Mia, soon Charles came and it was about time to go. "Yeah I'm prepared for this I had a feeling" Lance said replying to Charles. He turned his head to Mia, "are you ready?" Lance said. Lance has yet to see what type of magic Mia uses, he was a bit curious.

@Whitewind Bert let the coin fall on the palm of his left hand, looked at Elise and saw she was was not even looking at him any longer....

Your loss.he muttered in great distaste... Then he saw a great meeting of people towards the other end of the Guild Hall, he stood up and started to approach them leaving his coffee and cards forgotten on the bar's countertop.

Before he reached them he caught some words of an interesting quest that Bert must have overlooked before?

"Do you have room for one more?" He said with a broad, friendly smile.

"That's enough you little brat!" the lady yells. Moeasha could be forgiven for thinking it was directed at her, for how was she to know Azerus was making faces at at the lady with a clump of seaweed on his head behind her back.

Furious, five tendrils of of hair shoot from the ladies dread locks narrowly missing the pair as Azerus tackles Moeasha out of the way.
A second later 'big n laid back' was even bigger then before but not so laid back as he tried to restrain the woman.

"Hey, never attacking another wizard, remember?" says the now small giant.

"Are we even sure they are wizards?" hisses the nervous twitchy man.

"I'll get everyone and anyone who wants to tease me!" screams the woman loudly as she struggles with the big mans big arms.

From the dirt on the ground Azerus merely looks to Moeasha who landed on him.
"I recon you could still see a bright light through this fog"

The sudden shifting of gravity startled Moeasha, and she dazedly looked at Azerus. Then she blinked and grinned. "They did it!" Moeasha jumped up, turning to the wizards.

"You lied!" Moeasha chastised the three wizards, as if they were school children. "You hurt people tonight, you know." Moeasha looked at the fog, then to Azerus. "I'm not sure of your point, but yes a light would show through this fog."

"I am newish. I haven't been here long. I haven't made much effort to met anyone." He had spent most of his time in the shadows watching. He had heard good things about the fairy tale guild. Too good to be true in his opinion. No one could be as good as these people were so he had watched to see if the things he had heard were true. Everything that he had seen seemed to indicate that the rumors were true but he still had a hard time believing it. "I was thinking about taking the haunted town job."

Max realising that he will get nowhere waiting on a job with someone because he needed money now so he decided he will take up a job by himself.He walked up to the job board and picked a job."Hmm a mercenary job,I'll take it.Anyone want to help!"he said after he found the job

"Then it's settled." Jocelyn nodded in agreement with them. Good to have some company upon this endeavor, but she wondered how the few would fare when faced with denizens of the long forgotten abyss. Facing monsters, that in itself was simple as they were physical beings, flesh and blood. A ghost....it would be different to say the least, and not necessarily easy. "I will need to gather a few things from my quarters before we disembark. I suggest you three prepare as well." Three she said as another had apparently joined their hunting party...or two since it seemed the other necromancer was backing out. Impatient he must've been and yearning to head out. Jocelyn smirked. "Are you sure you do not wish to join us, boy? We could use your...talent in dispatching of the restless dead."

Donivan looked over at the people next to him and smiled. "I'll go with you, I've been here long enough and need to stretch my legs anyways." It had been a while since he took a job with someone and he seemed like a good person. He looked at the job and smiled, a ghost huh, he was ready to go and have some fun.

"Fine I'll join back in"He said leaving the job there.But he didn't need to gather anything so he just waited there until everyone came back.And he knew one thing it will not happen again not on his watch...
