@WeepingLiberty Okay so I'm expanding Alexander's backstory but I have some questions about the universe. I know you're posting lore soon so i'm mostly posting this so I don't forget. And if anything or all is going to be discussed through IC then feel free to ignore it!

Questions about magic

1) Assuming magic is primarily internally fueled, is magic also an environmental force?
2) Are there certain materials that act as enchantments to casting?
3) Do external conditions alter the difficulty of casting, such as fire in the cold or snow in the desert?
4) How does casting work, incantations, glyphs, sygils, magic circles, sheer will?
5) Do the characters know how to cast magic or only know they have the talent to do so?

Questions about the world

1) Does modern medicine exist?
2)What year are we currently in?
3) Do mages run businesses in the general populace? If so, do they keep their magic hidden or do they make it public knowledge?

Appearance: 5'11 and rather lanky, Alexander's most notable physical trait is the contrast of red hair and blue eyes that flash orange as he casts magic. He grins and laughs regularly but wears a lost look when thinking too hard. He normally lounges about in jeans and a hoodie but doesn't hesitate to wear a vest and tie combo when the occasion calls for it.
