That girl seemed a little whack, not even seeming any scared of the present situation and just suddenly running off to who knows where through the exit way. All that energy made Ice feel his ever-present headache and nausea get worse, she was acting like some kind of energizer bunny. The guy in the suit, the Infinite Monk, came closer and offered his greetings. Seemed that some serious shit had gone down to cause him to be stuff in a tin can. There also seemed to be a child there as well. Ice quickly checked his pockets and gave a small sigh of relief... He still had some candy left in his pockets. There was something that maniac stuffed toy had said about the little one... But he couldn't remember what. Anyway, Ice bent down for a second and dropped a candy into Kara's hand, before standing back up and facing the rest of the group.
When the girl started playing stuff off on the cassette tape again, Ice ignored it. The old-fashioned electronic grated on his nerves and made him want to break things, the cassette being number one on his list. Since she wasn't offering to talk from her own piehole, he wasn't about to take away her only means of communication, however. Aleecia was listening intently to the recordings, looking completely lost, they were sounded off in the same place from seemingly the same device, but all the voices were different. If she didn't figure out what was going on soon, all the trying to understand would make her head start to spin.
"W-What is that device used for?" She voiced out.
It seemed Aleecia wasn't going to get her answer, because suddenly, Ice had flown off the handle. The man she had woken up to had given her a little help and comfort even though she hadn't asked for it, and to hear him talk like that made her flinch. The new guy was fighting back with words and it was all making Aleecia start to tremble all over again.
Ice didn't much care for Calvin's attitude, the boy must have been at least a good six years younger than him and probably hadn't even gotten through his schooling yet. If he wanted to get the upper hand in this battle, Calvin took the route. Isaiah didn't give a shit what the boy said about him, nothing he said was worse than what he thought about himself anyway. Before the bandaged girl could even interfere, Ice was already starting to talk over Calvin,
"I'm talking as your elder little boy-"But the girl did step in before he could get any further, if he wasn't so wrapped up in his 'talk' with Calvin, the Infinite Blood Donor probably would have thought up another comment about her and how she should definitely have shoes, or at least socks on.
"Please be advised, the following presentation, has been approved for a mature audience only." The recorder spoke before being fast forward to another line.
" Please retain an air of calm control during public speaking." While Calvin looked surprised and his anger started going down, nothing had been done to calm down Ice's annoyance, maybe it had even shot up a notch.
“Chill the fuck out, Ice.” Now that made Ice want to smile a little, it was a pretty good last word. If he didn't want to continue to get this show on the road, Ice would have snapped back, but whatever. But Ice wasn't the human touch kind of person, and instead of shaking Calvin's hand, he just gave a curt nod and started walking over to the exit way. The man surveyed around and leaned against the wall, looking at the area. Next to the exit way was some kind of store that didn't have any lights on and there was a group of people standing at another set of elevators. Ice stayed where he was and just let the other group catch sight of him, not wanting to interact with anyone else.
The Infinite Monk had come up to her, speaking that they should get along, he seemed totally accepting of his condition, but Aleecia guessed that was to be expected. She gave him a nod and asked,
"So... Your body is made of... what exactly?" She gave him a small smile and took a step closer, her hand reaching out in front of her. Really, she wanted to be able to feel this mechanical body, it seemed so other worldly or future compared to the world she had last seen eight years ago.
