sassy1085The lights swirled, an outline slowly forming before the new being popped into life and now one solid form. Eyes opened slowly, the world now in a new perspective and yet completely the same all at the same time. She looked at her hands but a moment, all four of them sliding forward to be in view of her multiple eyes which were slightly widened in surprise before her hands slowly curled into fists. Kyanite's gaze softened and she calmly turned them upward, looking at the floating eye that was causing such grief to those around her before her eyes all narrowed slightly in determination. "We'll keep everyone safe. Please stand back...", her voice rang out smooth and soft as she stepped forward, both gems glowing brightly. One hand slipped into the gem on her right elbow, pulling out a large crossbow as the other hand slipped into her chest gem, pulling out an arrow completely made of ice with the sculpted tip of Aquamarine's harpoon. Kyanite's front two arms held the crossbow steady, aimed right for the Red Eye while her other free arms loaded up the weapon.
The arrow started to build power, a burst of light jetting the projectile ice towards the Red Eye which barely caused even a dent upon impact and only spreading a bit of ice .Again... they thought as Kyanite's hand opened, ice twisting and forming carefully into a new arrow before being loaded once more. Everything she had focused in on keeping steady, building up power so they could land a better hit. The second arrow shot out with great force, landing once more but to no avail on causing damage. Aquamarine's concern started nagging at Kyanite, quickly pushing to make another arrow as she strove to keep the humans safe from the threat of Home World. We can do this...Keep calm...Panic is not the key. Focus...We will protect them this time....., she thought to herself. Another arrow now locked into the crossbow, her eyes focused as she really put everything into this arrow, her compassion, her concern and the fear of the past as well as the future before she let the arrow fly. What is ..., Kyanite barely had time to think as her form started to slip, her body slipping into light and shaking violently as Aquamarine and Spinel were tossed apart from one another, their fusion finally unstable enough to break.
