The big thing with Aqua is that she doesn't understand family. She knows humans are different and how they have families but gems aren't like that. She probably doesn't even know that she is acting motherly. Aqua big thing is compassion, protect and love. She has no clue what those quailites relate to for humans. She just cares. She would see it as helping someone else and being a friend

Aquamarine is going to go super mother mode if she ever finds out that Reggie doesn't have a home. She knows what it is like to not having a home or feel like you don't have one. She knows what homesick is and loss. He would probably cry for him and lots of hugs before making him live in the temple

Yeah, floofy hair would be even more tempting to Aqua. If you noticed she has long hair. She likes hair XD touching and head pats are a must. You will probably see lots of hugs from Aqua as well

I'm so short that I have gotten use to head pats or people randomly picking me up and just carrying me around. I have even had friends put me in their laps just to cuddle me lol

Do you know how many times Aquamarine has wanted to pat Eve's head but didn't do it because she doesn't seem to like Aqua XD you would have had about a thousand head pats by now
