as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

Ah, hell.

If I subbed to this RP, would someone let me know when you start taking on more people?

When making a 'custom' structure deck, apart from the banlist, are there any restrictions on what cards can and cannot be in it? As I would like to either have my character use a Toon deck or Dark Magician (failing that, Crystal Beasts or Gem Knights)

If you subbed to it, you could probably tell when the title changes to [Open] and when the tag changes to "Apply". I'm afraid it won't be for a while, though, as the RP has been going rather slow and I want the current crew to be the entire one for the rest of year 1. I'd love to have new characters come in on year 2 to serve some sort of Kenzan role, only more relevant than Dino DNA over there ever was.

As for the custom structure deck, there's pretty much no limit other than "Don't make this thing broken and keep the card amount to mostly singles, maybe doubles and avoid triples". Of course, my rule for scouting out ten cards on my own applies too.

Name: The Final Assault
Spell type: Normal
Effect: If you control no monsters, pay half your Life Points; Special Summon one "/Assault Mode" monster from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card. At the End Phase, shuffle it back into your deck. You can only activate one "The Final Assault" per turn.

EDIT: Whoa, hold up, this is a spell? I thought it was a trap. I'm accepting it as a trap, not spell.

EDIT2: After some conversing with good 'ol Charak, I'm removing the clause from Arcanite Witch which makes it treated as Arcanite Magician. It makes little thematic sense to have it, and if you want the /assault mode you'd be making Magician anyway.

Okay, now THAT is asking for a Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode OTK to be built around it. Or to have an easy board nuke with arcanite. Rejected.
