Current you know, my SO never forces me to say a thing that's on my mind and doesn't mind if I don't always explain myself which makes it way easier to actually tell them stuff. boundaries good.

as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

I'm far from dead, guis. I've just not been very inspired for anything, and you might not get another reply out of me for a week or two. I want to wait for school to start again, and start properly, so I have something to take my mind off of everything and make my writing less uninspired.
@Ariamis You should apply to become a stormtrooper.
Bright, blue skies with only a few errant clouds dotting it set the tone for the day, the sun having free reign to shine down from above. It didn't seem like a droplet of rain would fall from the sky, not this day. The water misting fan rigged over one of the seats in the audience had been turned off. The occupant of the seat was not bothered by the sun shining down on her skin, heating up the entire body. She sat with her eyes closed, half-heartedly listening to the dull announcement made by the grandstanding showoff at the very bottom. This contestant, Õja Rura, respected Seto Kaiba only for his dueling prowess but not for his attitude.

Once the announcement was over, Rura was finally allowed to leave this overdesigned stadium and be left to her own devices. She waited for the crowd to disperse a little before getting up herself, unwilling to be caught in a crowd of weak-minded individuals. When she stepped out of the arena she was met with more blazing sunlight, two cards jutting out of her deck in response. Rura took them and held them up high in the direction of the sun. The shade the cards cast on themselves obscured their artwork but the levels three and seven, as well as the FIRE orb in the top right corner were all still visible.

"...Yeah, I know. This reminds you of home."

Rura muttered to herself and slid the cards back into her deck, taking a quick look around. Sticking around the amphitheater wasn't going to get Rura anywhere, but she still had to fill the day. She raised up the duel disk strapped to her arm and stared down at it for a few moments, then glanced at one of the guiding boards nearby. All distractions seemed like they would be fitting places for parts of her deck, but none of them looked interesting as a diversion. Still, the woman didn't have much choice in the matter. Rura headed in the direction of the safari park, mildly curious to see what animals this egomaniac decided to buy with his excessive wealth. It took some navigating and dodging people with the same idea as her, but eventually Rura found her way to the zone proper.

There were paths laid out to follow which were decorated to look like part of the environment, but it didn't seem like there was anything stopping visitors from going off of them and exploring on their own. Rura didn't feel particularly adventurous today and decided to go along one of the dirt roads, only mildly glancing to the side to see if there were any animals around. She eventually came to a more dense tropical forest, with thick foliage and unbelievably tall trees. The woman was hit with a wave of nostalgia and decided to take a break in the area, leaning against one of those trees and cooling off in the shade. Much like before, she took out two cards of her deck and stared down at them. This time they were levels four and seven with the EARTH orb donning their top right.

"...Daichi..." Rura muttered to herself, looking solemn and lost in thought.
Anybody else working on duels or should we move to tests or something?

I mean, I'm working on one with Tree but I'm going to be honest, I've been kind of neglecting it and everything else right now. I was actually kind of hoping for other people to be dueling in the meanwhile, but that isn't happening apparently.

I know for a fact Sat is working on something, though.
I could say Kaiba World has a gold course but that'd just take away from the card games.

You're saying this as if you can't do both.

EDIT: Got something out. Figured since you didn't reply to my question that the answer was 'no' so I scrapped my original idea and did something else.
Wait, how are you even going to interact with people if you're cooped up in a hotel room?
Isn't that counterintuitive?

Yes. Yes it would be.

Which is why I would naturally have my character move out of the room.

Just because I would start a post in a location does not mean I have to end in that location.
@KOgaming Alright then, at least give me this:

Do the characters already have access to their rooms and would the announcement be broadcast on the TV screen inside of said room if so?
Moving my post to here:

In-Universe. As in among the squad themselves.

I'm aware that's what you meant. Maybe I could've worded it better (and left out the multiple mentions in post) but what I meant to say, is that there's not that many characters that have this going for them. If like, everyone save for 2 people had split personalities/clones and other shenanigans, then sure, but keeping in mind timeskips and the actual number of characters... seems pointless.
Also, I'm starting to feel like In-Universe we need some sort of diagram or spreadsheet explaining all the different personalities/clones/body swaps/mind controls at work in the group just so nobody gets confused and calls someone the wrong name by accident during lunch. Possibly one drawn up in a collab or something.

Seems like it's needlessly complicating things. Names are frequently written in posts, and currently it only seems like Darkrecon is doing something special with their names.

EDIT: Oh and uh, ditto on the whole 'thing to post about' front. All I could do is have Devors fall back, but I feel it'd be kinda throwaway.
