while tru, quantity != quality, the fact is there's enough good writers out there with diverse enough interests to fit most niches apart from the unrealistically specific i.e. kitten beheading RP

About me:
Where do I begin. I'm from Belarus, and fairly proud of it. I've been RPing about a decade starting mostly with chat stuff and some LARPs/reenactments, doing the stuff of this site for maybe half a decade now. I'm a former serviceman, and while I was conscripted I make sure to stay in related circles. As a day job I'm a programmer letting me usually work from home even when we don't have coronavirus forcing us to do so and thus I got a lot of time for RP.

Brokk kept quiet as Thir-whatsthename appeared but instinctively primed his Thrund. He wasn't going to be stabbed by any flimsy elgi blade, oh no! He sat down as the made camp, and grinned as the party's elf followed the new one. "The jackal knows it's kin is nasty!" he said with a chuckle. He was however, a little discontent to see the party fracture even more with the grubby manling following the elf, while one of the Knights pushed along Allison who was followed by the loverboy. He groaned a little, but at least there was the realization that he was just a little more clever than the others of the group. He had kept his coconut, so he could put Allison's cooking in it to use as a bowl. He just hoped that the soup itself wasn't magical in nature or the Dwarfish resistance to it could make the stuff unfelt by him after being eaten. Still, he ate for even a placebo effect of having something go down his stomach would be good. He didn't wander off to follow the elf or confront the odd Bretonnian being a nuisance to the young girl. After all, someone had to keep watch of the camp. He was a bit satisfied that the Slayer hadn't left just yet, although he might go to either scene moments from now. Having a bit of the Karaz Ankor with the Ranger made him feel oh so much better and at home. In a way, the self-induced berserker insanity of a Drengi was proof that there still was some overall sanity around - even if in an odd way.

As he finished his soup he once more got to maintaining his rifle. The longbeard's gun was one of his greatest prides and he would be damned if he would let the jungle get to it. He got even the smallest of dust specks out with the help of a small magnifying glass in his cleaning kit. Sadly the thing still smelled just a little like scorched eyeball but oh well. Eventually, he was satisfied and once more reassembled it and sealed it with wax to not let much water or dirt in. He quickly checked the guild made optics and once certain that they were still functioning put his weapon down on his lap, battle ready. Now he would get to do the slightly less practical, but nonetheless important. He groomed his beard cutting off hairs that were too long with a throwing az whilst braiding the ones that got loose.

When finally done all his little routines he thanked Valaya for his endurance, Grimnir for strength and Grungni for his wisdom. Finally, he lay back to get some shut-eye, even if he only slept for a total of a few minutes because the slightest of sounds woke him up.
Interested, perhaps even more so depending on what your canon events are since I plan on making my character Krogan.
The Inquisitor's explanation did not wholly satisfy the Confessor, although few things did. "I don't think they're going to believe it's just a matter of visitation when we have half a squad in power armour brought along...." he muttered just loud enough to be heard. If they were going to be kicking down doors, he felt it should be on a basis of equality; if you have a door it is going down, and if it's a thick one with a fancy hydraulic lock, well they had power armour and explosives did they not?

As they landed Horacio grunted, turning his power maul on so it had the wonderful glow everyone would come to know, if not love. "No don't say 'I don't like this.' You're an Inquisitor, surely you've watched holodramas where the man who says that always gets sh-" he started, and then stopped to sigh as a slug from an autogun zipped past him. "That's an omen if the Emperor ever did show them." he muttered again. He dived forward to give reduce his surface area to his shooters. He unloaded a clip from his bolt pistol, and then tugged at his massive shotgun. He stood and gave one blast, the heavy stubber slug sized pellets whistling loudly in the air. He ran forward and to the right all the while blasting away from his shotgun. The aim was to use his firearm to suppress the enemy long enough to get to the side of the doorway where he would have cover, and be close enough for his weapons to be at their most effective. He did not worry too much about the autoguns firing at him as his rosarius in conjunction with carapace and being a moving target would keep him relatively safe. If that failed, then there was the mighty defence of faith.

As he got closer and closer he emptied his shotgun and tugged once more at his power maul, screaming like a madman (which he admittedly was) and charged hoping that the smoke would not yield any advancing figures in the spot where he wanted to take cover. If there were any then he would most likely over come them by being better armed and armoured if not prepared, and finally get short respite to reload. "This should be some nice cover!" he shouted as by the sling he lifted his shotgun into one hand and pistol into the other. He jumped to the side where he was out in the open but could reliably if not accurately shoot both weapons at once to provide a hail of plasteel-borne doom. With the ammunition in the clips of both weapons promptly exhausted he'd jump back to his cover and reload again, hoping the Sisters took the opportunity to also find a position that was better than being in the open.
@Big Dread@Roosan
so y'all wanna collab in the gdoc in the squad car or...?
Elves are crazy mother fuckers and should be killed on sight.

ftfy
speaking of which, @CelticSoldier you didn't let me shoot the elf on sight ;_;
Bump, although this does not seem very hopeful.
@Leidenschaft
What about Sam and Tom and all the jazz with them? I failed the criminology roll but am waiting on Roosan in case he might get it. I thought we might get to the hospital with him or something.
Sorry I haven't been around, I'll check in the GDoc soon.
I need to think out my next move. In tight spaces I'm not much use with the tac marines+ so I may have to be a mary sue and go lone wolf once we reach a split of passages, take at least a few dark eldies by surprise. Besides, I'm not being ordered around by someone who is neither a Captain nor an Ultramarine.
