Djinn, or by her real name "Shadow", is the story's deuteragonist, and the main antagonist of part two's 'Wrath of the Shadows' arc. Conjured to life by the Millennium Pendent, she's a manifested-embodiment of Divine Djinn's literal and psychological shadow (thereby her name), who acted as her "twin sister", both in friendship and "visual kinship". Creative, clever, and determined in her pursuits as a shadow creature, Shadow was regarded to be a great ally, as well as a dangerous adversary to certain characters.

Before her death at the hands of Yami Marik, Shadow Djinn was the primary keeper of the seven Millennium treasures, originally kept by Pharaoh Atem and his six priests, as well as the one responsible for the curse of Pharaoh's Tomb, five-thousand years prior. Her loyalty to the king stemmed from his inheritance of the device responsible for her creation, which followed into the present day, after her spirit reawakened in the Monster card "Dark Djinn" by Yugi Muto, the current possessor of the Puzzle, and the symbiotic host for her king's spirit "Yami", whom she aided into protecting the world, as well as regain his lost memories.

Throughout her adventures, Shadow became one of Yugi's closest friends, and one of his best monsters, resulting her to officially earn the female-flipped title as the "Queen of Games", while he, along with Atem, became known as the King of Games. Shadow Djinn's fate was made, after Yugi fused her soul with his own, binding them together for all eternity, while continuing to protect the world; the same way they had helped the Pharaoh.

The running gag throughout the story, was of Shadow Djinn being a constant object of interest to many rivals and enemies; more notably Bakura and Marik Ishtar, who've made several attempts to harness her power, but weren't successful, due to her great strength.

DESIGN
Appearance
Shadow (left) and Divine Djinn's (right) Past-Life Appearances

Brought to life as a shadow creature, born with the dark magic of the Millennium Puzzle, Shadow Djinn's appearances vary, due to her ability to shapeshift. Having to be created from Divine Djinn's actual and psychological shadow, Shadow was merely a mirrored counterpart, possessing similar traits that make her a visual opposite, but with a shady, smokey color scheme, giving her the impression as a "shadow-version" of Divine.

Since her creation, she primarily appeared as a slim, "teenaged" girl with dark-pink eyes, and Caucasian-pale skin; possessing frisky, three-layered, dark-blue, amethyst hair going down to her mid-back, with the ends sticking up, as well as very short, light-blue bangs on her forehead, with two locks (long on the left; short on the right) framing the sides of her face.

In the past, she wore the attire to that of a priestess: a long, white, sleeveless, one-piece dress with a high-low skirt, a matching waist-length hood that widens and spreads below her shoulders, and white sandals. Her jewelry consists of a golden beaded-crown circling her head, three golden anklets on each leg, a golden Egyptian necklace, and a golden bracelet with a ruffled fabric around each wrist.

Shadow Djinn's Disguised (left) and Duel Academy (right) Appearances

After death, thanks to her shapeshifting abilities, Shadow also used this appearance for her disguised form, while wearing a long, white, flap-collared "boyfriend" cardigan over a long-sleeved, light-pink, turtle-necked dress, with dark-purple cuffs, and two tails hanging down at her sides. The left tail also has a small, conch-like ornament hanging down from it, while wearing a white thigh-skirt underneath with black stockings, and white Mary-Jane shoes. After she got enrolled into Duel Academy, her clothing was replaced with the typical female uniform of an Obelisk Blue student: A collared, sleeveless white top with blue-and-violet trimmings, a matching blue-and-violet miniskirt, and royal blue boots.

Thanks to Yusei Fudo, her disguise has an addition of a pink, specially-designed bracelet on her left wrist, which allows her to manipulate her presence waves, or "visibility", around humans. She also has her own Duel Disk with a silver body, a blue light, and a pink-green-purple-blue gem in the center.

Shadow (left) and Divine Djinn's (right) Duel Monster Forms

In Duel Monster form as "DARK DJINN", Shadow coincidentally takes an appearance resembling the supernatural creatures related to the Djinn, and visually, a contrasting shady-version of Divine's "LIGHT DJINN".

Tall and intimidating, even though they both have long-pointed elf ears, and hair tied up in a high-ponytail, Shadow possesses dark-lavender skin, red eyes, dark metallic-purple hair, and matching dark metallic-purple eyeshadow and lips. She also has dark-grey "smoke" etches sprouting from her ankles to her lower legs, and dark-purple Islamic tattoos: phases of an eclipse running down from her right forehead, over her right eye, to her right cheek, along with scorpion-inspired ones on her upper chest, her right hand, and down her left arm.

Having a style resembling Arabian origin, Shadow's attire as "DARK DJINN" is exactly the same as Divine's reincarnated form as LIGHT DJINN, but again, in dark, smokey colors; a one-piece outfit: short-sleeved half magenta, half dark-blue bust-top, and a pair of black, high-waisted, knee-lengthed baggy pants, with elaborate violet curlicues shaped along each side. She also wears matching violet, wedged-babouches with curled toes, as well as dangling translucent-pink "lightning bolt" earrings.

In her Duel Monster form, while being under the Light of Destruction's influence, she formed a custom Duel Disk on her arm; much more menacing than her other one, it represents her true power.

Abilities
Shadow is a similar equivalent to Yubel, both in fate and power; as a fiend-like being, she holds a variety of supernatural abilities that are similar to the effects of her monster card. As a manifestation of a genie's shadow, she possesses the physiology of the djinn, such as super-strength, speed/reflexes, and longevity, along with additional attributes that are related to that of a shadow creature. While she was a wish-granting genie, Shadow temporarily had the powers of teleportation and reality-warping, but lost them after a wish for her freedom from servitude.

As a Duel Monster, living in the spirit plane, either in transparent-form, or her solid form (whenever Yugi Muto shifts into Yami Yugi), she's visible to other spirits, but rendered invisible to certain humans. However, with the specially-designed bracelet Yusei Fudo made for her, Shadow can willingly live in the plane of existence, when taking on her disguised form. Her shapeshifting abilities include her morphing into a two-dimensional shadow silhouette that can only lurk on solid surfaces, such as walls, floors, and mirrors, to the point of changing her shadow-shape into that of a human's own casted shadow perfectly. Other abilities include her transition into a smokey, shaded apparition, intangibility (passing through solid surfaces), and a degree of persuasion (control people's actions and thoughts with her voice).

Unlike Yubel, who personally derived her power from the darkness of others, Shadow's own power is supplied through her dimensional link with the Shadow Realm, as well as the elemental forces of general darkness and shadows, which she can use for a variety of purposes, like her ability to perceive an individual's aura through their own casted shadows, to the extent of sensing their emotions, health states, and power levels, as well as detecting the inner darkness ("Id", or "Shadow") hidden deeply within; sometimes extracted from its host, this aspect takes shape as a twisted, mirrored-version of said-host, often appearing with red or golden eyes, while expressing the original's more negative qualities. Shadow can either sentence these embodied beings into exile, or use them to do her bidding. With her persuasion powers, she can provoke or tempt them into making themselves known within an individual.

Due to being born with the Millennium Pendent, Shadow Djinn naturally inherits core knowledge of the ancients; therefore having to possess a grand form of power, both spiritually and physically, that allowed her to actually survive and resist a variety of forces, like the Seal of Orichalcos, and various Millennium Items (Rod, Eye, and temporarily, the Ring). Plus, while the Puzzle acts as her life-source, she can also symbiotically bond with its wearer, specifically Yugi Muto, also giving her the ability to spirit-walk into his mind as another alter-ego, alongside Yami Yugi, though she would only take control, if necessary; the boy would keep his natural appearance and voice, but said-voice would slightly deepen, and his eyes would take on the same red color as her own, demonstrated when she briefly possessed him for the first time in the mind-shuffle. Unfortunately, after Yugi sacrificed the Puzzle, she lost this ability forever.

Through her many experiences in the Duel Monsters game, Shadow proves herself to be just as talented as Pharaoh Atem in the dueling world. Considering that they play the same deck, it's no surprise that they both share a similar dueling style, as well. She even quickly adapted on how to operate the Duel Disks, as well as Yusei Fudo's Duel Runner (don't tell). As far as strategy and skill goes, it would make sense as to why people even call her the "Queen of Games". To add to her five-thousand years of knowledge, she has also gained the skill of multilingualism, having to fluently understand and translate the English, Egyptian, and Arabian languages; she's currently in the process of learning Japanese.

Much like Jaden Yuki's fusion with Yubel, Yugi's fusion with Shadow allowed him to obtain access of some of her own abilities, but would not be able to harness that same level of power she once had while under the influence of The Light of Destruction. Plus, their fusion did make him much stronger than how he normally is, both physically and spiritually: gaining immunity to other supernatural forces, particularly those of darkness, increased athletic reflexes, and the ability to sense the state of others' well-being through their shadows.

Personality
To others, Shadow Djinn was considered to be "one-of-a-kind", both in and out of the dueling aspect. In the beginning, Shadow was insecure in trying to find her own individual, but eventually adapted into a rather intelligent and good-willed individual, who perceives to reach destinies without taking shortcuts.

Shadow normally appeared as an elegant, polite individual, who was headstrong, very loyal, caring, and kind; traits she took on after Divine Djinn, as well as the values of responsibility, but unlike her sister's mature, conscientious demeanor, Shadow, being an embodiment of Divine's hidden instincts and desires, was "young", making her the most active twin, who was very easily the jealous-type, with a short-sighted, rebellious outlook that can get in the way of her good side. As she craved to be Divine's equal, this "immaturity" became the core reason for her involvement in the forbidden practice of granting wishes (a technique that only normal genies can perform), after feeling overshadowed by Divine's ability to make things happen for mankind. Shadow was totally unprepared for the consequences of becoming a wish-granting genie: She was completely bound to the wills of others, and put under the six laws of wish-granting.

Through years of servitude, Shadow grew comfortable with her duties, but she wasn't always proud of it; having to lose all hope for self-independence, she developed a very passive and obedient disposition around her masters, typically allowing them to take full-advantage of her and, in most cases, use her power for their own motives. Due to this, she didn't have the willpower to ask for favors, nor make independent decisions for herself (but only if she feels that it's necessary), causing her to become a bit shy, and unfamiliar to the concept of making friends. However, after spending time with Yugi Muto and his friends, Shadow learned that she can't just blindly obey on everything, she can choose to do what she believes is right, leading her to finally understand the true meaning of friendship, and bud some independence. Even after Yugi wished for her freedom, she was still thrilled, after this realization.

Even while she was bound, Shadow has, on certain occasions, a habit of negatively embracing her shadow-being nature, and interfere on the daily affairs of humans, typically by tampering with their thoughts, for almost-selfish reasons. According to her, her long-term experiences with the malicious forces have made her believe that by controlling mankind's thoughts and decisions, it would lessen the risk of them becoming influenced by a negative power. It's unknown whether if this is the case, if she's naturally mischievous, if it's to protect the innocent, or if it's for a completely different reason. In regards to this "reason", similar to Pharaoh Atem, she withholds a fondness and a certain protective streak for Yugi Muto, particularly through her belief that Yugi is "the light for darkness", meaning that, as long as he is with her and Yami Yugi, he would keep most of their Dark qualities at bay. Plus, after temporarily losing him to Dartz, it only showed to demonstrate how unstable they really were without him, even becoming hostile towards each other, on occasion.

Another similarity between her and Pharaoh, is their shared view of him being both a little brother, and a son of sorts. Shadow is very concerned for his wellbeing, very passionate on topics that involve him, and vindictive on those who have wronged him. This was very apparent when she became extremely resentful of copycat duelist Dimitri for stealing Yugi's ("her") most-treasured deck, and impersonated the Pharaoh's mannerisms; more likely seeing this as an insult, and a fear to lose the deck that once belonged to her best friend, this showed just how truly devoted she is to Yugi and Atem. In fact, in part two, thanks to their influences, Shadow began to show a sense of fairness, good judgement, and confidence upon her being; merely becoming more of a supporting character, a role model for other characters, and a person they can rely upon or find appealing, she starts to use her powers more for righteous acts, rather than selfish ones.

Sadly, Shadow still holds a natural dislike for wannabe, ill-fated, and power-seeking duelists: She was annoyed for the snobbism of the various Obelisk Blue students, as well as those who'd lie, cheat, or steal. However, despite this opposition, Shadow still shows pity for these individuals and, if necessary, she would also try to support, reason, as well as respect them, believing there to be a cause or reason for their behavior (with a few exceptions).

Due to being "dormant", since the eighties, Shadow had missed out on a lot of technological progress, resulting her to become clueless on evolving-modern technology. But this doesn't mean she's not intelligent, nor a fast-learner; in fact, most of her modern-day intellect evolved from her experiences in the Duel Monsters game. After having to be fully entrusted with Yugi's deck, she uses pride and effort as both a monster and a duelist; making her presence and power so unpredictable and intimidating, Shadow silently enjoys it when people underestimate her.

Etymology
The name, Djinn, was used as a play-on word for the Arabic collective noun Jinn, whose primary meaning is "to hide", although some interpret the meaning as "beings concealed from the senses" - thus implying the fact that Divine and Shadow were not necessarily "spirits", but beings hidden within a parallel plane of time and space. The anglicized form genie is a borrowing from the Latin word genius, a guardian spirit of people and places in Roman religion. While Divine and Shadow are related to the supernatural creatures found only in Arabian and Islamic folklore, there is no evidence that can explain their connection with Ancient Egypt. However, there have been a lot of superstitions of them being summoned through magical rites, performed by the Egyptians themselves.

BIOGRAPHY
History
Living for generations as (usually) invisible, supernaturally-empowered beings known as jinn, or "genies", Shadow's birth happened in first Millennium B.C., during a solar eclipse, where King Aknamkanon used the powers of the Millennium Pendent to create company for Divine in a dimension that's parallel to the real one. Coming down as her "twin sister" in both friendship and appearance, Shadow and Divine were originally servants, or companion spirits, to many Egyptian families, including those of royalty, magically granting them their greatest desires through "wishing", although this act was proven impossible on Shadow's part as a shadow creature.

After the birth of Aknamkanon's only son, Atem, the sisters accompanied him of raising the child, and were requested to teach him the ways of life before coronation, mainly due to the fear and concern of his yet-surfacing, shadow-half (the negative aspect of his personality, according to Shadow). In order to protect his only heir from the negative desires, influences, and impulses of the outside world, Aknamkanon requested Divine and Shadow to accompany him and his son in an ancient tomb, where he sacrificed his own soul to the gods to spare Atem from the consequences of creating the Millennium Items, eventually passing away after he mysteriously fell ill.

Shadow was present during Atem's taking of the throne, and not being not exactly bound to the duties of a normal jinni, like Divine, she was requested to help maintain and secure the seven Millennium artifacts in the palace. When a great evil arose, Atem sealed himself inside the Pendent to lock away the Shadow Games forever, shattering itself to pieces shortly afterward. Placing these pieces inside a golden box, Shadow and Divine placed it in a special tomb within the Valley of the Kings, calling it the Tomb of the Nameless Pharaoh. Through circumstance, Shadow sealed the box within the tomb's inner chambers, before mercilessly cursing its stone walls with shadow-magic to prevent thievery, before going back with Divine to serve the throne's successors.

A few centuries later, since Atem's sacrifice, Shadow and Divine played the role as guardian entities within the Shrine of the Underworld, underneath the desolated village of Kul Elna, where the seven artifacts have originated. Sharing the tomb with another Pharaoh loyalist named Shadi, who helped secure the Millennium Ring, Eye, Scales, and Key, the sisters have watched him forcefully give an explorer named Maximillion Pegasus the Eye, before allowing him to house and mentor a group of young orphans within the tomb. Having to watch him teach them about the Millennium Items, Shadow became overshadowed by the amount of praise Divine received from the children. Fueled by her jealousy, she began to crave for the gaining attention her sister was getting; so believing that she could share the spotlight with Divine, she secretly got involved with the technique of wish-granting, eventually becoming bound with its six laws:
(1) She cannot be requested to kill.
(2) She cannot make a person fall in love.
(3) She cannot resurrect the deceased.
(4) She cannot grant immortality.
(5) She cannot interpret or influence wishes.
(6) She cannot refuse requests that don't imply to any of the previous rules.

Overtime, Shadow never told Divine of her involvement, until the day of the eldest's demise: Bakura's father appeared, and Shadi tested him to see if he is worthy to obtain the Millennium Ring. He fails, only prompting a young Bakura Ryou to emerge, and acquire the Ring, accidentally inheriting the imprisoned Yami Bakura in the process. The evil spirit killed Divine, and the children she tried to protect. Due to her immunity to the dark energy, Shadow survives the attack, along with three other children named Sera, Mani, and Aigami. In mourning, Shadow retreated to another tomb, where she shared the space with the Ishtar family, a clan of tomb-keepers. The family's youngest child, Marik Ishtar, approached her, and hoping to make it up to her sister, she made Marik her first "master", secretly serving his every need, while continuing her position into guarding the Millennium Necklace and Rod.

The boy's need for Shadow went a little too far as he succumbed to his hatred of family tradition: having to be forced into taking the initiation ritual, Marik's pain caused him to spawn a second personality named Yami Marik, who killed his father, and nearly killed his older siblings Odion and Ishizu. Odion, his only (adoptive) brother, in fact, lied that it was Shadi who did it instead, in order to protect him from self-guilt of his other half's crime. However, the boy misunderstood him, and believed that the Pharaoh was responsible for his father's death, making Shadow interfere upon his path of delusion. He demanded Shadow to revive him, but due to herself revealing that she was now "bound" to the rules of the jinn, Marik became furious, unknowingly awakening his other half, and tried to eliminate her.

Realizing the newly-found "disease" within the boy, Shadow used up her strength to fend him off, and sacrificed her own life. A few years later, due to their impressive history, Maximillion Pegasus of Industrial Illusions designed Divine and Shadow into battle monster cards for his newly-created card game, Duel Monsters. However, after a few months of development, Pegasus realized how powerful they really were, and banned both cards from being released to the public. But, rumors happened to spread, and Shadow Djinn's only monster card, "Dark Djinn", was mysteriously leaked into the possession of a young boy named Yugi Muto, while Divine Djinn's card, "Light Djinn", remained in lock-up. Shadow's spirit was awakened by Yugi's possession of the Millennium Puzzle, and became his catalyst of influence to reach his destiny as the "King of Games".
Saeril never broke eye contact with this stranger. But she had to, when she looked back at the group; her penetrating gaze softening as soon as she watched Fili and Kili helping those in need. Maybe she should reconsider; they need all the help they can get. But only one thing nagged her: Thorin wouldn't appreciate strangers in the mountain, especially in the treasure room. Yes, she's seen that too. Everywhere for that matter, thanks to Dis. Before her deformity...

"You speak generously", she finally said, softly, after a moment of thought. Her eyes finally leaving the view of her godsons. "But there's a warning; steal from the mountain, the mountain will steal you", it was true; dragon sickness, a terrible need for power. It will consume the victim, shattering their minds. Fear, worry, and concern were all felt within Saeril; what if they fell to it? Emphasis on 'they'.
Annie scanned the area for a possible path to approach the Roman leader, standing there in the distance. Honestly, the cowgirl (noticeable to Jed, at least), had no interest in violence and combat, except she would only fight for what was necessary, like to protect a frontier and keep the peace from a true enemy. Not to mention that she uses the thrill of suspense for entertainment; public shootouts, not included. Mentioned before, it was forbidden to even face Annie in said-event. Jedediah laid that law down as a necessity. But generally, no one challenges Annie. However, there have been other fellow male pioneers, who were dying to "meet" her. Take Jesse James, for instance.

James was their diorama's robber and outlaw, and the same goes back in American history: "guerrilla, gang leader, bank robber, train robber, and murderer". A cocky, talkative pioneer, who was, at least, the same height as Jedediah, James took violence over the edge, and he had no qualms to spare anyone. Not to mention that he grew obsessed with Annie ever since her arrival in the wake of this morning. If anyone was disgusted of James, it was Jed, according to her knowledge, at least. Now that she thought about it, Annie did notice a protectiveness coming from her leader, every time that son-of-a-scum appeared. The best part? The cowgirl never cried; always kept her head high.

Octavius had victory on his mind for years. Hail Jupiter!, he thought triumphantly, sword held high, and taking on his incoming enemies. Taking one last strike on an opponent, the general felt mental strength on his insight for victory. "For the glory of Rome!", he declared in the midst of battle. However, he didn't expect some string surrounding him, trapped in the wrath of being restrained. "What sort of trickery?", he asked, oblivious of an incoming strike: being knocked completely off his feet, and falling flat on his back. A blurr in his vision from the landing came to full effect. Groaning, Octavius was then lifted discreetly. "What is the meaning of this!?", he asked in disgust (and slight panic in his tone). "I am a Roman General; I have rights!", he told them, practically ordering the enemy to release him.

Originally born somewhere in Haiti as Tallulah Black, "Vivienne" grew up into poverty as an only child to a single English mother. At thirteen, around the time of her mother's death, Vivienne was abducted by slave traders, and was transported to an unknown island in the Bahamas, where she became a maid-servant to a former pirate named Albinus. After countless suffering, she finally shot him at nineteen, before eventually escaping to the pirate island of New Providence. There, Vivienne evolved into becoming a swash-buckling con-artist, posing as a tavern prostitute to steal high valued items from its customers. After seducing a young merchant sailor named John Silver, her charisma stole his innocence, and "corrupted" his morality, seemingly inspiring him into becoming a fantastic liar, and a born-opportunist. For his talent to influence others, Vivienne recruited Silver as quartermaster, and Jim Hawkins, a young nineteen-year-old she managed to rescue. From that point and onward, Vivienne built her own pirate crew, and bought her own ship, "The Red Rose".

Despite her shady background as a slave, and her fluency in the English and Spanish language, the beautifully-deceiving Tallulah Black is smart, fierce, cunning, unpredictable, and very collected, even when she is in the face of danger. Thoroughly educated into learning life's lessons on the road (and sea), Black was the first female buccaneer to ever arise in the Caribbean, who took her unchained freedom as an opportunity to gain an easier living, and a bit of an adventure. In between hot-headed forcefulness and cool-minded compassion, Black is not to be underestimated; she has grown up into becoming a highly-intelligent and ruthless buccaneer, who dreams for a better life, after suffering through a rather traumatic childhood. Though her choice in career is to be frowned upon, her beauty, charm, and talent to test and inspire others was so great, Vivienne can bend their minds and make easy pardons; she also influenced Abigail Ashe, John Silver, and Jim Hawkins into becoming part of the pirate community. Since after discovery the treasure of Salazar, her personality soon starts to change for the worst.
In black, thunder sounded just before one came even louder. Lightning flashed until there was a singing female voice in the vicious wind.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...

The thunder came again as the voice continued with a British flag blowing in the wind.

We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot, drink up me hearties, yo ho. We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot, drink up me hearties, yo ho.

This time, rain began to fall over a town which looked like a harbor.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...

The singing faded as thunder striked once more as a pirate flag was being carried by the wind. A male voice began to narrate. It was John Silver.

Those were almost the first words she spoke to us. We remembered her name, her idea, but we did not remember the man who invented it.

The gallows appeared, as a man in shackles was forced to stand on the platform with the noose being snugged around his neck. The platform was released, forcing him to die.

Because of that man's failure, he was killed, and forgotten.

Cannon fire sounded as it dueled with another ship, causing explosions on the sea craft. The ship began to sink as its flag blew in the wind. The flag sank into the depths.

But as the years passed, an idea could still change the world. People killed in the name of it...and died defending it.

A figure of a boy floated to the surface of the water until he laid on a piece of the ship, drifting to a shore nearby.

But you cannot kiss an idea. Cannot touch it or hold it

Jamaican peasants ran to the water as they saw the figure drifting, being able to pull him ashore.

They do not feel pain or show love

Commodore Norrington and Governor Swann run over to the group as they see the unconscious boy before them. "Get a doctor!", Norrington told his lieutenant, Theodore.

But it wasn't the idea that was missed

A gold glimmer shined near them, but they didn't notice.

It was a woman. A woman that made us remember. A woman, we pirates can never forget

The story title appeared in the darkness of the screen.

"When I first met her, I pegged her for an easy mark. But now, I'm not certain who I should be more afraid of. I saw the anger; being among the first to witness it, they made her admit that she was wrong, that she was weak. To tell you the truth, I think she felt compelled to let everyone on this island know; that in this bloody world, no one f***s with Black and gets away with it"
- John Silver

A double-crossover of Robert Louis Stevenson's best-selling Treasure Island, its television prequel Black Sails, and Disney's award-winning franchise Pirates of the Caribbean, this swashbuckling action-adventure tells the alternate origins of 18th century's most notorious pirates, who've taken over and refuged in the Caribbean seas, while representing freedom from the ruling powers.

In Port Royal of Jamaica, Abigail Ashe, the eighteen-year old daughter of Lord Peter Ashe, was taken as a prize by Captain Ned Low. After losing the love of his life, heroically-determined blacksmith William Turner becomes bent on revenge, and teams up with the eccentric but noble outlaw Vivienne Black. With her cunning, sharp-witted quartermaster John Silver, and Jim Hawkins, a young, dreamy thief, little did Will know that he's about to cross into a dirty, cutthroated world full of ambition and rivalries; not to mention one of the more-involved, and most-feared of Golden-Aged pirates, Captain Charles Vane.

Even after a simple rescue, not everything looks normal in the New World: Woodes Rogers, the newly appointed Governor of the Bahamas, wishes to purge piracy on the island of New Providence, by putting it under British tyranny. Consequently, this only stirred up an all-out rebellion in the West Indies, as it threatens to tip the age of piracy into a bathroom-wide war. It is here where legends are born, and where stories are told, as "one-legged" and "one-eyed" creatures find themselves at impossible odds.
Saeril examined this man head to toe with her penetrating Elven eyes, as if she was trying to read him. Thankful that Kili was able to walk off, the she-elf couldn't place him in such a position that would affect his self-esteem. Not now. He just got healed, and he was recovering from the heartache of breaking his promise. Kili didn't need any more pain. "What will you offer?", she spoke with boldness, almost sounding strict, as wind lightly blew through her long hair. She wasn't gonna let this stranger let off too easily. Not yet.
Saeril made a few steps towards the man, until she was in front of Kili, blocking this stranger's view of him. "Keep the poison behind your teeth", she told him, sounding menacing. "It won't infect us", it was a ploy her parents taught her: using metaphors in her words to scare off intruders of their home wood. "I know the way to the mountain, stranger. You won't speak ill-will towards the sons of Durin; not in an any way", at least she was back to her protective instincts, instead of cowardice like before. "The only weapon they have is an elf", Saeril narrowed her eyes before turning around; her gaze to her godson. "Kili, please, go help the others", she said, her motherly words coming back to him.
