Maggie put on her thinking face once again, as she listened to Nate's declaration. This was a little bit of Fred Jones in there, but with the fact of clumsily dropping his flashlight, it only served as a reminder of Shaggy's klutziness. Odd as her brother may be, he sure was an "oddball" of fun when they were kids. Tripping and dropping, either accidentally or purposely, it was what kept Maggie entertained, to an extent. In the end, both of them were laughing.
Just to even think about the scenario, made Maggie chuckle lightly, and quietly, in order to prevent Nate from ever thinking about the laughter being directed towards him. "I'm sorry", she snickered, trying to stifle the noise. "It's not about you", she quickly reassured, eventually calming down. "Okay. I'm okay", she quieted down, finally being able to compose herself.
"A good ol' cup of joe? Count me in", Maggie smiled, and shrugged, already becoming determined to find the missing gang, and find out what the heck is going on.

Honestly, at this moment, Saeril felt herself being a child again; sitting on the floor in tears, and with Kili present, it was like their roles have been switched. This time, it was him that was giving her comfort, showing affection in his caring nature for the she-elf's wellbeing. Inside, Saeril somehow felt safe with him. Again, it was like their roles were switched, but in reality, it wasn't to be, naturally.

Feeling the youngest carefully retract himself from their embrace, the she-elf willingly gave him her hand, and allowed him to help her stand. Though Saeril was really pulling herself up, even though she felt Kili's effort to help her stand, regarding their significant height difference. With him to even recall confronting Thorin alone, Saeril was about to protest, but she remembered her promise to allow him to make his own choices. With a sigh, Saeril eventually albeit reluctantly nodded. "Very well. Just...be careful, young Durin."

Speaking of rest, the she-elf didn't remember the last time she had a break. With everything prevailing, it was like "rest" couldn't be reached, not rig everything and everyone in such a dark situation. But Kili preferred it for her, and Saeril figured that perhaps now was the time to get it. "I will", she, once again, reluctantly nodded while slowly seating herself on the bed, and carefully laying herself down on the comfortable side of the bed. Not bothering to cover herself, it truly has been years since she slept/rested in a proper bed.

When she felt Kili pull away a bit, Saeril showed a face of the same: concern and worry. For him to face Thorin alone, that only brought her worry, for him, his uncle, and even Fili. She wanted keep him safe, but there was a part of her where Kili would have to figure things out himself. It was partly the reason why he never fully matured in the first place. He lived, what you could say, a very "sheltered" life in the Blue Mountains, a few years after his birth in the Lonely Mountain. Ever since the dragon attacked, as far as the she-elf learned, Dis grew protective of them in Ered Luin, becoming wary and cautious for their safety, if they ever chose to go exploring at night.

From that moment on, Dis sealed them and herself inside their home, away from the outside world. But as they grew older, they were determined to see their precious "Delva", once the gifts started to come. Through those years, Saeril was always out there, watching them grow and smile. Yet, here they were; face-to-face, hand-to-hand.

The she-elf understood him, though, remembering what she just recently thought of; that he would have full-reign. He choses, she obeys. With that afterthought, she finally, and reluctantly nodded. She'll hang back, but she will listen in. Closing her eyes, she responded softly. "Very well", Saeril's wings finally folded back into her cloak.

As soon as she heard the man lecture about his latest plan, the pirate couldn't help but give out a hearted laugh of amusement. He is so naive, the brunette thought to herself while she observed him. "How in the name of the tides are you going to do that?", Vivienne asked, curiously questioning about this plan of his. As soon as she asked this, she started to stand back up to her full, slightly limping from recieved wound from yesterday. "Open your eyes, love", she said from the other side of the bars. "This is not a hero's errand to rescue a damsel in distress", the pirate warned him. "This is Ned Low, not Jack Rachkam", it was true; Calico Jack Racham was a pirate known for his words and strategy, not for unpredictablity and deceiving. It was easy to get around Jack, but not as much as Low.

Once he had the guts to tell her about not choosing to become what she currently was, Vivienne did momentarily lower her head in regret, but it was quickly masked with a smile. "Sometimes, those decisions can be non-negotiable", the pirate responded, before taking a moment to think. "My game? With that Devil roaming around the Seven Seas, no one is safe. Not for people like you, or for people like me. This man will keep murdering and pillaging whenever he pleases. He killed several in New Providence, a few hundred in Tortuga; even here", the brunette grimly told him, anger slightly there. "He will attack again if need be", and he would.

I have new ideas that we can use as the story progresses to Lord of the Rings:
1) Your OC becomes more involved.
2) Kili and Saeril's characters will become more developed.
3) Saeril will be able to diminish her inner darkness once and for all.
4) Dis might make an appearance.

Vivienne did not see the blacksmith advance, gripping her bare arms, and pulling her to direct contact with the bars, giving her head a quiet bonk against them. She groaned at his demands, almost in a frustration. Did he have to be this rough with her? She was a lady. Well, due to the fact that she was a pirate, it didn't really help the situation.

After a minute to gather her vision, the brunette noticed how close they were. Like before, during their first "meeting", it was almost the same scenario. Except it was he who returned the favor. His strength didn't go unnoticed, and the anger fueled it. "A word of advice: watch where you throw your anger. You could hurt someone", she recalled as an advisement, a half-tease, half-truth. Lifting her eyebrows in a 'you know' kind-of-way, the pirate waited for his grip to loosen, before she could answer.

"I'm sure, because unlike me, he paints the ground with blood. Plus, I wouldn't fire on an open-town unless I have the means to do so. Funny thing is, only a man plagued with insanity would do such a thing", she casually directed this to him, in an honest way. It was true, even.
