Sonya noticed themselves already surrounded by humans with guns. Her green eyes scanned them all, as well as behind her at Sonic. She looked to the blocked door behind armed humans. She had to think of another plan that would potentially get them out of this mess...and fast. "Ahh", she exclaimed, once something came to mind. She turned to Sonic and whispered in his ear. She would take out each of the guards, then she and the younger can combine their might to burst through the door.
The female hedgehog jumped up from the ground, and launched herself at the guards, having to use her concussive tucked-in ball form, and knock them out with a bonk to their heads. Having to the use the rest of her speed, Sonya bounced off the wall, and unraveled herself, stopping before Sonic. Aiming to the door, she smirked to him, mentally telling him to get ready. "Now let's see who's got the gear", she said to him, playfully, giving him a competitive stare. Dashing towards the door, she gave a mighty push of force, and blew the door off.
Sonya thought long and hard of where that next exit could possibly be located. Because of the alarms, it was kinda hard to hear herself think. The incoming footsteps were not helping either. Mentally, she continued to think...until she reacted fast. "Come on!", she finally said before taking Sonic's hand, and leading the way to the desired exit.
"Seal the exit!", a human guard shouted, as the door immediately closed, and the extra guns were aimed at the incoming escapees. Sonya gasped, and skeetered to a halt before them, with Sonic in hand. The female hedgehog growled at the obstacle, clenching one fist, with Sonic in her other hand's grip.
Sonya took the lead of the getaway. Ignoring the blaring lights and repetitive alarms, she led the way, while Sonic slightly tailed behind her. The sounds also hurt her sensitive ears, but she kept up the movement of escape. The female hedgehog heard the younger's exclamation, but she did respond back to him, as she pushed forward. Advancing upon the closing door, she wasn't gonna let it stop them from reaching freedom. So, taking hold of Sonic's wrist, the elder moved forward faster, almost pulling him. They were lucky, because with a slide, they both made it through within seconds of time left. Finding the lab to have an intersecting hallway, she looked back of all the times that those humans had to escort her and Sonic. If she remembered correctly, they was an exit that led to the outdoors. And it was close to here.
As the humans flooded into the cell that the hedgehogs shared, Sonya had her arms crossed on her chest, and watched. Predictable humans. Who knew that they could be so easily fooled? They were nearly about to drag her "dead" brother out, but before they could even get him halfway out the door, she acted fast. Unraveling her arms, she first dashed at the human who was dragging her brother. Tucking herself into a ball, she used her spin-attack to hit him in the chest in such a concussive way, he tumbled back into the people behind him. The way out was so wide open, Sonya grabbed her little brother's hand, and ran out into the hallway. "Don't let them get away!", one of the scientists shouted from the ground behind them.
Sonya had to prevent herself from laughing at the scene, having cover her mouth with her gloved hand. Once she managed to get herself together, she banged on the glassy entrance to her cell, mainly to human personal's attention. For her to be smart (probably smarter than Sonic), she was under constant watch during the day. Now that it was night, it was their time to make it out alive, and out into the real world; where they both belong.
It made Sonya smile, as she looked upon her little brother's adult form. About twenty years ago, he was such a small pup, and only the female could make his crying stop, and make him laugh when it was needed. Basically, he shared her desire for freedom, as well as their family's tradition for seeking out a slice of adventure. From then on, she promised him one, and she will give it to him, while attempting to show him the world, once they get off of this "prison". Sonya has been working on an escape plan, since she was a little kit, and today was the day to make it happen. Pointing a white-gloved to the camera at the corner of Sonic's cell, she then made the charading gesture of hitting herself in the head, mentally telling him to play dead. That way, it would alarm the scientists. From there, she will do the rest.
Sonya glanced at the food and water bowls that the scientists left for her. So far, so...not so good. She too tried going through the pros and cons of eating, but then, she made it final to eat it when it was given. So far, it was necessary if she was urgently starving. But once it was given, it's not so good. They were being treated like pets; animals. Heck, they are animals, in a physical and biological sense, but that didn't they were to be treated as such. Sonic must be quite miserable next door; with nobody to talk to, he must be bored out of his mind. Getting up from her bed, the blue female hedgehog made her way to the see-through wall that cut her off from the younger male. She knocked on it to get his attention.
It's been twenty-seven years. Twenty-seven years. Sometimes, Sonya wondered what to do with herself when sealed inside an isolated cell that was designed to withstand the effects of her strength behind her attacks. The only time she was ever allowed to leave the room was to help care for a fellow hedgehog in the room next door. One moment of looking upon him, the more she realized that she wasn't alone. He was her baby brother. The one that her mother was pregnant with when she and Sonya were captured. Because of this, those darned humans had figured that she would be the perfect ploy to get him to calm down whenever he had his fits, so they can continue on with their experiments. These "experiments" contained observations of how the two hedgehogs would interact, sleep, and eat. However, some of them became highly unethical: the process of mating. Of course, to protect him, Sonya refused to cooperate, mainly because she and her brother were related. As a result, she took most of the punishments for young Sonic. Most of them were painful, though a few were bearable.
Now, laying in her bed, she wondered what Sonic was up to...
Personality: In a way, Sonya is an older, female-flipped version of her younger sibling; self-confident and extremely competitive, she's always seeking out opportunities that would satisfy in her and Sonic's freedom from the hands of the humans (mainly because she can't stay in one place for too long, quite literally). Desiring adventure above all else, she will go to great lengths, and make sure that she and her brother are staying together and are on-the-move; not to mention, she will even to the point of developing vengeful grudges towards those who wish them any harm. Being the more mature and methodical of the two, Sonya is the one who rarely 'acts first, thinks later'; in fact, she prefers to use her brain, in order to find any ways that might help them get out of tight spots and predicaments. Unfortunately, she sees her intelligence as an asset that can make her feel and appear "cool" around others. However, this doesn't mean she wouldn't care about others, or show them loyalty, especially when it comes to her friends and family, not to mention that her bond with Sonic is undoubtedly her most important relationship; one that defines the vulnerabilities of her strong and stubborn character, such as compassion, concern, anger, embarrassment, sadness, and tenderness.
Crush: Knuckles might have a crush on me. It might be true, though I can't exactly tell.
After the downfall of the highly-influential company TOUE Inc., twenty-three year-old Aoba Seragaki and his comrades are now back returning to their normal lives. Well, with a few changes: Former TOUE android Clear gets his own place, Koujaku is (somewhat) cleansed of his past sins, Noiz goes back to his family in Germany, Allmate Ren gets a body of his own, "twins" Virus and Trip disappear, and the mysterious Mink ventures back into the wilderness. For a while, it just feels normal; like how Aoba wanted it to be. After the discovery of his origins, as well as confronting his alternate personality, Aoba intends to use his telepathic powers for balanced purposes; for the good of his home on the societal Japanese Island of Midorijima, which returned to its original state, after the Platinum Jail was destroyed. All seems stable.
Normal.
However, before the turn-up of two mysterious individuals, Aoba thinks he's the only one with powers. He thought all of Tatso Toue's work was done, but having to cross paths with other teenagers, who seem to possess the same but different telepathic abilities, some of the company's research may have survived. With this growing threat, Aoba and his friends may have to rekindle, in order to find out what the now-deceased Toue has sprouted from underneath their noses during their last visit.
