Legolas was in complete thought when the girl began to explain her bloodline. Complicated, indeed, but special, all at the same time. Just as they rode upon the new terrain, Legolas instinctively reached behind him, almost in a way to shield Yavanna, or to prevent her from falling off the horse. This was too a reflex and, once again, he was stubborn, acting as if it was a mutual instinct, and not out of love. He couldn't admit his feelings yet; it could go all wrong if he said something too soon.

Honestly, at this moment, Saeril felt herself being a child again; sitting on the floor in tears, and with Kili present, it was like their roles have been switched. This time, it was him that was giving her comfort, showing affection in his caring nature for the older she-elf's wellbeing. Inside, Saeril somehow felt safe with him. Again, it was like their roles were switched, but in reality, it wasn't to be, naturally.

Speaking of rest, the she-elf didn't remember the last time she had a break. With everything prevailing, it was like "rest" couldn't be reached, not rig everything and everyone in such a dark situation. But Kili preferred it for her, and Saeril figured that perhaps now was the time to get it. "I will", she, once again, reluctantly nodded.

Now, about the time gap, because we want the events of LOTR to happen right after BOTFA. Where Bilbo grows into a senior citizen, can we say that the ring caused him to age a lot quicker than everybody else?

Maybe during the funeral, it would change his perspective about the Dwarves, and not act so cold towards them anymore :)

That's a good idea, though I'll have to think of the right moment where they can say goodbye, until they meet again.

While taking charge, Legolas listened to every word the princess said, from her talking about the source of her glow, to the capabilities and limits of its power. She was almost the same as his mother, both in power, beauty, and personality altogether. She was becoming some sort of reminder to him, and that was what he could within her eyes. In a way, his feelings for her, grew into a certain fondness. He was quiet after he smiled small back to her, only for these thoughts to get in the way of his thinking as they rode across some rocky terrain.

Saeril was truly in a void that could eventually consume her. She regretted ever letting Kili see her like this, and the fear of him finding out what she was. She feared that it would tear their bond apart; make all of that trust they built together, crumble. Tears falling down her beautiful Elven face, the she-elf held her head desperately, as if trying to guard it from this entity from ever coming back. Saeril cried on the spot; on her knees, upon the floor with her folded wings still present, breaking down. Just by hearing her name come from her godson, she couldn't bear to look at him; not after what he just saw. "Stay away, my child", she tried to tell him, but choked on her tears. "Stay away", in truth, the she-elf didn't want him to go, but she wanted him to keep his distance from her. To not get close. All she felt was shame.

She wanted to scoot herself away from him, but she was too late to perform said-action once he put his arms around her, as if he was tryin to comfort her; she felt it to be of a comforting action. Sniffling lightly, she completed this said-embrace with one of her hands resting on the back of his head, and the other on his back. "It's nothing. Not about any of you, young Durin", she confessed and softly reassured. Should she tell him? No; later. "I'll be okay", she whispered.

Saeril had herself clinging to the stone ceiling within an open area; her finger-cuffs allowing her to hang upside down with her wings stretching out. She was nearly preccupied with the thoughts of Thorin's behavior, and her godsons' current status. The image of Yavanna came to her, and she could only wonder if the young elf was having some better luck than they were.

Just before she could think of anything else, that painful headache was back. This time, it was much more painful than the last time in the poisoned Greenwood. The elder whimpered, shaking her head, refusing this pain to overpower her.
"Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky", she heard him. HIM.
"Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone", the she-elf gasped, shutting her eyes, and shaking her head, then suddenly stopped. "Nine for mortal men doomed to die", she said, her voice becoming menacing; her luminous eyes glowing. This wasn't her; it was a creature that loves chaos. "No!", she suddenly shouted, shutting her eyes once more. "No!", she whimpered. "I won't let you touch them", she hissed to this entity in her mind.
She would rather die than see her friends/family dead. But this force was so strong upon her, it was splitting her, make her suddenly lose her grip on the ceiling, and fly into a nearby stone wall, crashing into it, and causing some pieces to fall.

Saeril can't let this thing hurt her godsons, but before she could say anything, the voice and the pressure dissapeared as soon as it came, when she managed to descend down into the floor. The she-elf just happened to notice Kili nearby, glancing at her. So scared for their well-being, she broke into tears, breaking down after having to experience the wrath that's now trying to take her back.

Legolas glanced back at the pair as they conversed with one another. It made him give a very faint smile. "What about that glow? Is that a special talent?", he asked the young elf, out of curiosity.

Maybe allow Kili to try and sneak away to find Saeril, but only to find her in one of her many episodes.

Fili was trying not to let his exhaustion show, but his feet were beginning to ache, while trying to wade through the collosal piles of gold and jewels. It was becoming harder and harder the further he and his brother went. One wrong step could bring an entire mound raining down, and their search would have to be halted, or become slower. No doubt that their uncle was beginning to lose his patience as every minute passed. They had been looking for so long that he knew that his baby brother could collapse at any minute. The last thing they needed was to have Delva in the room. Not that he didn't want her to, but he didn't want their godmother to get further in her silent anger towards Thorin.

Once out of the eyesight of their seemingly disturbed uncle, Fili took the opportunity to pause in their search. If he caught them resting, he would certainly put them back to it. He sat upon the endless pile of their family's wealth, exhausted. Honestly, he didn't know what to do; being close to Thorin, he couldn't dissapoint or disobey, but when it comes to Kili's sake, some measures needed to be overrun. Fili's loyalty has now split; he admired their Delva deeply, maybe not as deeply as his brother, but enough to fully trust her. Thorin, on the other hand, was his uncle, and current predessecor. Becoming king would be underway, and their uncle entrusts that his heirs would follow his every word, but in this circumstance, it has put Fili and Kili in the middle of chain that could only get so far. Tied between Saeril and Thorin, the brothers were in the middle of tug-of-war.

"Remember the stories, Ki'? There was only one Arkenstone; a large white gem that shined the brightest of lights. It's really impossible to miss", the eldest reminded him. Maybe this'll help. "As luminous as Delva's eyes", he added as an afterthought.

Fili indeed caught the jewel that was thrown to him; but Saeril, on the other hand, felt a little uneasy about Thorin's new appearance. It was unlike him to dress in such garb, and worse yet, speak of gold, as if it was a lifeline. The eldest brother looked to Kili, already feeling worried about this, before looking to their godmother. Something was terribly wrong...

"She decided to stay behind", Fili quickly spoke up as Thorin mentioned about the princess. "With others", he added, almost too quickly. He didn't mention about Legolas or Tauriel. Thorin was not in the right state to even hear about such beings.
