Kinoko grinned the whole time she was walking back towards the two other Saiyans. Goku’s compliment made her blush, although she couldn’t be swooned over for long, just as the two of the men were called to fight each other. The princess found it to be reasonable that they had to fight, in order to choose the competitor who’ll be facing her, as well as the champ. Before she could watch them, she didn’t expect explosions to be blowing up around the arena, as well as the stands the people were seated. It was enough to make her drop her orange top on the ground.

Turning around, there was the blue alien...with Android 21. “Amaia!”, the princess shouted to the Majin, just until she saw Yuvo aiming towards her brothers. Immediately, blue Ki blasts hit the prepared blasts that 21 and Yuvo were about to fire. “If anybody is going to assault my brothers, I highly recommend you doing it to me!”, the princess said, before jumping into the arena with Vegeta and Goku.

Kinoko thought she had it in the bag, but then the six-foot opponent returned the favor by slamming her face into the concrete. The counter for him to return the favor was really what she wanted. She may not be able to beat him through brutal force, but she guessed it was good when they decided to forfeit. Just in time, the princess had managed to gather her bearings, and manage to stand on her two feet, just in time to see a glimpse of her opponent’s Ki, and purposely step out of the ring.

She supposed it was neccessary, but she had to give her respects before he managed to leave the arena. The princess smiled and bowed back at Kitsu, before she walked back to the other side to pick up her orange top, and dismiss herself from the arena, back to where she was standing, with her two brothers. The cheers didn’t exactly leave, so in response, she gave a wave to all of them.

Kinoko watched Kitsu, even after she made the decision of taunting “her”. The princess seemed to be literally asking for more. Who wouldn’t? As a Saiyan? Seconds later, there was suddenly an onslaught of attacks heading her way. At the same time, Kinoko dodged, blocked, and traded blows with her opponent. This was the fight she has been waiting for. Apart from the fact that might have to fight against Goku, Vegeta, or both.

Not once, has she lost her focus. To add to her blows, she gripped the top, and pulled him forward, sending an uppercut to the jaw, before hooking her leg around his neck, and send him to the floor of the arena, making another crack on the surface.

The princess never felt such force or strength come from what seems to be a normal Earthling. But is this person even one, to begin with? Once she came to a stop, after being sent flying on the surface of the arena, Kinoko stood back up with a quiet wince, and a groan. Looking back at her assailant, she narrowed her eyes, while getting her composure back. Her Saiyan instincts were telling her to go all out, but for the humans around her, she can’t take the risk. Unless...

As soon as she put her foot down to stand back up, a crack appeared on the arena floor. Her Ki slowly regenerating her body, Kinoko was patient, before taking off her orange top, and revealing her black, sleeveless top underneath. Raising her arms to take her stance, she beckoned him with a hand.

Kinoko wasn’t sure why, but there came a feeling where she found this fighter to be both mysterious and unpredictable. Since the moment it began, she kept her stance, as well as looked for any openings this person can receive. However, she remembered her focus, and managed to catch the punch that her opponent was about to give her to the chest. With her grip on his fist to become tight, the princess narrowed her eyes, and looked into her opponent’s own, before giving him a mighty punch to the ribs. And another. And another, shortly before twisting her body to send an upper kick to the jaw.

Kinoko was so consumed in her thoughts, she didn’t realize that Vegeta had already fought in such quick time. However, when Goku was called up, the princess looked up, just in time to see Amaia in the arena. If her eyesight was that good, 21’s body language was very unlike her. Again, that feeling of suspicion continued to rise. “You’re right. I know 21; it’s not like her to run away like this”, the princess voiced her thoughts aloud, until her name was called once again. She couldn’t get a moment to think about what happened, can she?

She nodded to Goku in thanks, before giving a nod of affirmation towards Vegeta. This should be the moment where she will be able to get that fight she had been preparing herself for. Looking at her opponent on the other side of the arena, the princess kept her focus, before getting into stance. Internally, and probably for the first time, she wasn’t exactly sure whether she should fight like a Saiyan, or fight like an Earthling, especially with Vegeta watching. But she will gladly give her all, and mix it up a notch.

Kinoko felt her jaw almost drop at the announcement that this individual made. One hit and he already resigns?! She slowly but cautiously dropped her stance, as soon as the victory was declared. What kind of fight did she get herself into? Was it a joke? She put so much power in that kick, but she didn't expect the opponent take it and just walk off. It was kind of disappointing; she was really looking forward to a real fight. She had trained all night for this! Her thoughts were then suddenly off, when she heard his voice near her ear. How did he know that? How did he know who she was, and what she is? It only gave her further confusion, as well as slight shivers.

The princess reluctantly exited the arena, and walked back to where she was standing before. She heard Goku congratulate her on a sort-of scale, but didn't expect Vegeta to point out his inner feelings, until she heard the younger agree with him. Crossing her arms, all she could express was wonder. Who was he? What did he want? How did he know her? "I've never seen him before in my life", she responded to Goku's question, shortly before she began to look around, and find Amaia missing from the crowd.

Where could she have gone? What is going on here?

Kinoko reached the one end of the ring, while the alien seemed to go to the other. Watching her opponent, the princess gave the same bow, before making her fighting stance. It wasn't like her to charge first, but it might become the perfect test to see how quick her opponent can react to her strikes. And, like Goku said, also remember not to use any of her other abilities. To start, she ran at him, before taking the best of the way with agility, until she began to lift a leg, and kick him in the jaw. If he were to block, she would use the leverage to lift her other leg, and kick the other side; all the while, taking her foot out of his grasp.

Shadow took notice of Jaden and Yubel approaching, no doubt making sure they were okay. In all honesty, the genie wasn't exactly sure whether if she should. Something...or someone, other than Pegasus...was watching their every move. With her senses, she knew that something was been a bit off, ever since they came upon this trip to rescue Solomon Muto. Whatever it was, Shadow could only stick close to Yugi, and make sure this individual didn't come any closer to him, her, or anyone in their group.

'Keep an eye out for anyone suspicious. I fear something big will occur, as long as they continue to track us', she warned them all.

That same alertness continued throughout the day, until the sun went down, and everyone sat down around the fire.

Kinoko was looking around, hoping to see any familiar faces within the crowd. However, her observations were paused as soon as she laid eyes on Android 21, who appeared to be in her Majin form, rather than her "human" one. She wanted to call her out but it was cut short when she found her with what seemed to be a larger blue alien, whom the princess have found to be unfamiliar. Why was 21 here, with him. The last time Kinoko had ever interacted with 21, was only a few months, and after 21 decided to venture out on her own for a little bit, in order to get a glimpse of the world. Ever since the destruction of her evil half, the princess was willing to take care of her, to the point of seeing her as a younger sister-of-sorts. After a while, she began calling her "Amaia", a name that the princess gave, out of sisterly affection. The only thing that bothered Kinoko, was that "Amaia" gave her no acknowledgement of her return, nor right now. It made her worry.

Her attention was interrupted once she had to draw a ball, which gave her some time to gather her courage, and prepare herself for the battle ahead. "I'm not so sure that's a lady, Goku", she responded, with her arms crossed, before the first fight began and ended, just as quickly as it came. Were they so sure that this was "some lady"? She could only give a small smile, and a thumbs-up, silently congratulating the mysterious victor. She could only take a breath, as soon as her name was called. Rotating her shoulders a little bit, the princess walked upon the platform, and into the arena.
