Raphael stopped twirling his weapon of choice, and grunted, shaking his head. Not really in response to what Charlie, but it was a confirmation to his own thoughts. There were individuals besides them that were different -- unique and gifted -- after all. There were outcasts, like them, living out in the city, this whole time. It felt strangely comforting, like a bunch of bricks have been lifted from his troubled shoulders.

"Do you mind if me and Charlie stayed the night, in case those guys come looking for you?", Jennifer asked April, who gave the question some thought, before giving the Asian teen a tender smile. "'Course you can. It would be safer for the both of you".

"And, speaking of which, we better get going", Raphael heard his older brother say, before he could say anything to the girl. It was kind of disappointing, really. They just managed to find others that were like them. A part of him didn't want to leave, but Splinter would be wondering what was taking them. "Will we ever see you guys again?", Jennifer asked.

"That depends on how fast April stocks her pizza", the answer made her chuckle. Raphael departed last, albeit reluctantly, having to give a small wave back to the females, before making their disappearance.

It was an awkward silence between the two of them, even as he was twirling the sai in his hand. Raphael was looking between the weapon, and back to the window. It took him a few seconds, before he started to speak again. "So, what's the deal with the...fish thing?", he asked, not exactly looking at her, but rather at the corner of his eye.

Raphael crossed his arms, as he listened to Charlie point out the beauty of the city. If he only could walk out more during the day, he could get by unseen. But you know, it seemed that only nighttime was his only ally to bring him cover for his disguise. He didn't say anything, but rather gave a grunt, as he nodded in agreement to her statement. "I would, but, you know, the humans seem smarter during the day. The light doesn't exactly work in our favor for cover", he said, having to continue looking at the cars going by, and the people walking. Taking a sai from his waist, he tapped the metal with his finger, before skillfully twirling it in his hand, carefully evading his fingers on handling such a weapon.

How awkward it was, indeed. Here, Charlotte was, silently eating some steak with the young man she managed to convince in being the bait of-sorts. The previous events in her mind went by, like a slideshow: Her youth, her meeting with Speedwagon, her time of tending to his nearly-every need, her time of doing research for his company....and her finding of his body, on the grip of staying alive. She held his hand, pleading for him to slowly breathe, so she could call for help. But he didn't let her; just gave her the picture of Joseph and Erina, and told her to just run away, and don't look back.

But then, the events after ending up in England was something she didn't expect to find in her lifetime. For some reason, Charlotte was taking momentary glances at Joseph, who sat across from her. The man must be going through a cascade of emotions right now; the primary ones being anger or sorrow. At the same tine, it was his very determination to find out what happened to Robert, that sparked a kind of inspiration within the woman, that made her convinced that they could find out for themselves. It was quite inspiring, really -- minus the fact that the both of them just walked out of a fist fight in a public restaurant, not too long ago. Charlotte didn't really expect herself to be showing that side of her, but somehow, a person's lack of manners really irked her. Like a trigger. How Charlotte seems so vulnerable, right now, just seems almost a bit out of character, from the Charlotte back then.

Her thoughts were caught off, once the Englishman gestured for her to follow, maybe his lead? Looking to where he was looking, it was a rather medium-sized man in the shadows with long dark hair. Was this the man they were meant to pursue? Was this Straizo? The fangs and red eyes were a dead-giveaway to something vampiric. Robert's story suddenly came back to her. 'Pointed teeth and eyes, red of the devil himself', she remembered. It was the perfect comparison.
"You must be Straizo. Is that right?", she questioned the figure.

"Torunn...", Lochila softly said, from the side, trying to assure her, and give heed to her impending anger. The only response she got, was the teenager's insistence for answers. From there, Lochila went into silence, really expecting her brother to give what information that his daughter wanted to know. "As much as I want to keep you away from the place of your birth, which is no-less dangerous than that of Midgard, word of instability and unrest has been given across the Nine Realms", Thor explained; all-the-while, keeping an eye on his adoptive sister, who only continued to keep her eyes down, as if her punishment still persists.
The dark-haired goddess didn't so much as look up at her brother, although she did give herself some courage to give him a glance. "Brother, please", she pleaded. "Punishment was brought down upon your so-called 'mother', after she sided with her malignant trickster of a twin brother", he began to explain, anger lingering in his voice. "So, we sent her to Earth, with you, in her arms, to serve time for being a traitor to the throne", Thor was clearly unimpressed by the very topic. "It wasn't my fault; I was tricked! I've already told you this!", Lochila told him, upset by the unfairness behind the said-punishment, in the first place.

Having to be standing between the team and Eren, the white-haired woman was giving each of them a piercing gaze, really to measure their movements, and be aware of any indication that would lead up to an assault. As much as she and Levi had an upper hand in arms of combat, their sense of awareness was also not to be tested in any situation. The savagery behind that of the Ackerman cousins were foretold to not be trifled with, and so, many opposing parties knew better than to get in between them and their charges, if any. The only thing that drew Sara out of her concentration in observation was the knack of Hange demanding to get up close and personal with the mysterious limb that came from the sky. The hot steam resonating from the appendage brushed against the figures of the albino woman; the scorching heat, having to be felt on her back through her brown jacket, only made Sara slightly flinch.

If she was, as so much as a triple threat, she was.

Looking back and forth, from the squad, the arm, and to Hange, the lieutenant took what she had to listen to her unexpected conclusion. Of course, to her, Sara wasn't entirely surprised, as something similar has happened, all those years ago, soon after she was picked by Levi and Erwin. It was a solo operation in a forest, with only her cousin, Erwin, and a few other Scouts. It wasn't a very dense spot, but she will never forget that time of picking up one of her blades, and getting struck by an Abnormal, forced her transformation, once again. Only a few handful of witnesses took upon the incident; some mistook her for the opposing species, and led for her to, at least, place herself in defense mode, before the Commander and Captain arrived to stop them.

From then and onward, Levi made it perfectly clear that she would be in his charge, until she was able to maneuver around by herself, and have complete reign over her mysterious power. It wasn't spoken of, again -- labeled a 'confidential mission', and the witnesses were either dead, or swore to keep their mouths shut, until retirement.

Time of the present dragged her back and, by the time, Kate spoke, hoping that the misdirection would distract the other members from their own fear.

"Take it easy, and disarm yourselves. Any upcoming action can, and will, place you upon further surveillance, in the presence of Eren Jaeger.
Is that clear?"

Jennifer continued to laugh at the fun that these four individuals were able to bring into her and Charlie's seemingly-boring yet private lives. It was like coming home to family, after all this time. They finally found solace just from this one encounter, and the Asian never felt so open about her insecurities, regarding her mutation. It made her realize that they were a "special" yet "gifted" bunch.

Raphael was standing by one of the big windows, looking out over the city lights, before hearing a female voice. "Huh?", he said, out of surprise but relaxed, seeing it was only Charlie. "Oh, hey".

They were all indeed laughing at the efforts of Michalangelo's ability to bring comedy into the evening. Jennifer remembered the 'Rocky' movies all too well, and the humor that Mikey brought onto Sylvester Stallone's line added character behind the impression. Here she was, laughing with Charlie, April, and the four brothers. It was as if the family was getting bigger, after only a few hours of chatter. "Hey, I got another one! This is totally cool!"

Raphael wasn't paying a lot of attention to the gathering, as he was gazing into the fish tank nearby, gliding his fingers along the watery surface. "Oh, no, not Cagney", he muttered, before shaking his head, and finally stepping away from the tank.

"You dirty rat. You killed my brother. You dirty rat. Woo-hoo!", Mikey laughed.

"That must be Splinter's favorite", April laughed, only having to receive a look from the four turtles. Jennifer cleared her throat, and April dropped her grin. "It was a joke", she quickly added, correcting herself. Thankfully, instead of contempt, they only laughed.

Right after helping April up through the manhole, Jennifer let Charlie exit next, before she followed, with the help of their new "gifted" allies. "Apparently, when you said that magical word, every New Yorker would react", Jennifer pointed out to April, with a smile, just as the guys reacted positively at the woman's offer.

"So, you live in an antique store?", Mikey asked, just as his brothers were still climbing out from under the road. "Above actually", she affirmed. Jennifer looked at the building, having to find some things inside that would entice wonder and curiosity. "You work here too?", she asked, while looking through the window. "In my free time, yes", Miss O'Neil led them to the entrance of the store, gesturing to take careful and quiet steps into the building.

"So, what do you guys like on your pizza?", she asked.
"Just the regular stuff. Flies, stink bugs...it was a joke", Mikey chuckled sheepishly, after the human woman gave him a face.

Sometime later, the three females were being led throughout the underground by the four brothers, who had to rely on smell and memory to figure out where April's apartment would be, at the surface. "Are you guys sure you know where you're going?", April asked them, as she and the two girls followed them across sewage water.

"11th and Bleecker? Nope. This is only 9th street. Get it?", Michelangelo piped, after smelling the air. "Yuck", April flinched, making Jennifer shake her head with a chuckle.
"To save your conscience, Miss O'Neil, you don't want to know", she said, before giving Charlie a hand to cross a river of water.
