I can fit my tablet or phone into a pocket and go anywhere with it.

Also my laptop is huge and slow and I'll be replacing it at some point because it's just that terrible. There's almost no portability advantage compared to a desktop (seriously the damn thing is like an inch and a half thick) and ugh.

And, ahem, versatility is what you can do with it, not what is actually done with it.

DOSBox + Fallout 2 = I'm sorry I can't hear you over the awesomeness of my Nexus 7's (or LG G2's, or, well, any Android's) versatility.

Not to mention it's not a walled garden.

What do you even mean by "actually have a user interface" anyway?

And I'm not even one of the super techy programmer types so it's not like it's something that requires mastery over all things silicon.
