@GreivousKhan Are you referring to this RP or the mod? If the mod, well, depends on additional mods, if the RP, yes. I actually have a pretty extensively modified cyborg lady in the works and almost completed. Ideally I should have her up tonight if you want to use that for reference.

@GreivousKhan It's kind of a post-post-apocalypse I suppose. Supplies are pretty much as rare as you want them to be (if you want to almost starve to death or constantly stumble over Fancy Lads® Snack Cakes, either one is fine really), and if overdevelopment is a problem for you, there's the island of Ash, which I'm styling to be a lot like the Old West in many ways (complete with shootouts at high noon and cheesy named saloons). Obviously that's not exactly developed, seeing as it's been accessible for... a few months now?

Another thing, as to the name of the group you're thinking of, while having a group of Merry Men would be fine, there's another group that originated from Wolfwater but now works across all Wintergold territory known as the Wolfwater Rangers (who are essentially NCR veteran rangers in terms of badassery, but without standardized gear). You might run into some naming troubles there, since the Wolfwater Rangers have something of a reputation, and simply hearing "Rangers" might cause some miscommunication. Not saying Wasteland Rangers is a bad name or anything, but it is something to consider I think.

Some wiki trawling later, it would appear Dishonored does use whale oil as a propellant and that they're self contained cartridges. I should have a CS finished soonish.

@Flynn (Not quite sure how whale oil would make a gun function, since I've never played Dishonored. Is this as a propellant that actually ignites and sends the bullet flying or something, because that'd make sense I suppose.) But basically with guns it's less of a standard use weapon and more of an unusually powerful ranged weapon for when something with less punch won't suffice? I also assume this would make javelins, crossbows, etc the primary means of killing things without getting into their faces, which I admit is my preference.

I'll start working though with the assumptions above, if they're wrong just boop and I'll change things.

This piques my interest. What's the verdict on guns such as a cap & ball revolver (or two, provided I can give a satisfactory explanation) out of curiosity? Would a character who has some mechanical aptitude and skill be plausible?

And is hitting things with a wrench allowed?

This does seem rather interesting though, been looking for something with survivalism and scavenging and such, this seems like it'd be rather fun.
