I'm all about that fantasy. I can mix it with other genres, such as sci-fi, slice of life, etc. but I generally stick to fantasy settings. As long as something supernatural or mystical is afoot, I'm interested. I generally like adventure, exploration, and conversation more than action and fighting in my roleplays as long as everyone is having a good time. I enjoy tabletop RPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons, Scion, Dungeon World, and Ryuutama.

Lucky had watched the fight between Sarah and Cole with baited breath. The moments that Cole was trapped in the quicksand felt like an eternity, and when he finally emerged as a bloodlust-induced monster, Lucky knew her suspicions from earlier on were correct. She would figure out what the thing sharing his body was. She couldn't believe that it was just him losing control. And if it was, that was honestly more frightening.
When the teachers intervened, she finally remembered to breathe. She looked down at her hands, which were balled into tight fists and shaking slightly with adrenaline. She clasped her hands together to stop the shaking and took a deep, long breath to steady herself. She wasn't afraid of the oncoming duel, but her body was hyping itself up for the battle without her consent.
She looked up when she and Eric were announced for the next duel. Blessed sunlight filled the arena and her hair and eyes began to glow much brighter. The light was being greedily sucked into her body, fueling her powers and causing her body to vibrate with the influx of energy. She wasted no time in taking her place opposite of Eric in the middle of the arena. She tapped her foot in time with the music now blaring from the headphones hanging around her neck. Her hair began to react as if on instinct, growing out until it flared behind her in separate, seemingly sentient sections that were ready to lash out at any potential threat. At this point, Lucky closely resembled a kumiho from Korean mythology.
"Go easy on me buddy." Lucky said to Eric with a fierce smile.

Edit: Just an idea, but perhaps there could be various types of weaponry around the arena for Eric to utilize, since his power is mostly about acquiring skills from things he's seen done. @Kaesus

I've been lurking since the interest check thread, and I have some ideas for a character, but honestly I'm a little stumped. Some characters seem under powered, and others seem like absolute monsters, and I'm a little confused as to where the middle ground here would be.
I would sort of like to re-use a character from another RP in this setting, with a bit of a different attitude and a different backstory. Would that be alright? I could message you her powers and how I intend to use them so you can judge whether or not I would fit in or if she would be absolutely ridiculous.

Lucky's eyes followed Lain as the nervous girl ran away from the confrontation. She wasn't surprised, however, she was rather disappointed instead. Lucky understood not wanting to use your powers, especially not in a setting like this. [[Especially not surrounded by monsters like this...]] She thought to herself as the battle between Cole and Sarah sprang into action quickly. Sarah had initiated the combat with a cheeky move.
"Shit!" Lucky cussed when she realized she didn't have her phone recording and hit play just after Cole began his first charge at Sarah. She set it up hurriedly and then glanced back at Eric. "How do you think these two will do?" She asked. She took a handful of trail-mix and unceremoniously crammed all of it into her mouth at once. Her cheeks puffed out to the sides like a squirrel's might while she munched on it happily, and she shook the bag in Eric's direction so he could take more if he wanted to.

@Kaesus @Drakey We now have an odd number of students, which means one of us wont be getting to fight. :/ Is there any way we can remedy this, or will somebody just have to sit out for this?

Just as the action began between cold-flames girl, Eira, and muscular-dragon guy, Kaze, a newcomer arrived and sat close by. It was a girl with long hair, a bit longer than her own. [[Not too shabby.]] Lucky thought to herself as she assessed Sarah. She leaned back against the bleacher behind her and held out the bag of trail mix towards Sarah. "Watchin' these two will make you want some fuel for later." Lucky said, shaking the bag slightly to indicate that Sarah could take some if she wanted.
She was going to offer some to Cole as well, but something about the way he held himself made her reconsider. He seemed polite enough, but she couldn't put her finger on what made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up being in close proximity to him. Honestly, whatever it was about him fascinated her. She would record his fight and study it before she truly approached him one way or another.
With a quick sideways glance, she quickly took in Eric as well. She liked him, he sent off rather pleasant vibes. He seemed safe, and he stood up for other people. She would probably befriend him quickly. At least, she hoped she would. A lot of the other people here seemed to be somewhat out of her league, such as Eira and Kaze. She would survive all of their attacks sure, even if they had thrown them at her full-pelt, but all she would have been to the two monsters was a punching bag more than likely. She was glad to have avoided a fight with either one of them, to be honest.
When the fight between Eira and Kaze ended, she hit the "end recording" button on her phone quickly and saved the file. However, when the next two duelists were announced, Lucky's gaze flicked between Cole and Lain. Lucky felt bad for Lain, the poor thing. She seemed like a nervous wreck. Having to fight Cole, who Lucky suspected was way more than he appeared, made Lucky think that Lady Jade and Professor Jacob were somewhat sadistic.
She gave Lain a reassuring thumbs up with her free hand and called out. "You'll be okay! Just trust Lady J'."

With the permission of @Kaesus I've modified Lucky's abilities a little bit to be more defensive and make more sense (at least in regards to how she gains the energy for her abilities).
