Halo: ODST, After the War

Knight had just finished stowing his gear and a couple non-regulation items as well a bottle of scotch, his guitar, and a stolen covenant energy sword. He had been happy to know that like the Infinity this ship simply had troops room together rather than one large barracks, it was also so that encase of attack the troops defending the ship were not all in one place. He had taken it off a dead Elite back on Requiem and kept it since replacing his knife with it as he knew technically all Covenant weapons are to taken to the armory so they can be studied. Hiding the sword and drink he cracked open his guitar case, he figured it would be best to wait down by the hangar near where the entrance bay was and play some, the troops would enjoy it. Giving himself a once over in the mirror he was wearing a black shirt with Hell-jumper written on the front on and in sloppy white letters that you can tell someone wrote on the back it said Knight. It went well with his gray camouflage pants and black boots grabbing his acoustic guitar out of the case he began the walk to the hangar.

He passed a group of ODST's who whispered about the betting pool for who would be the first to find out his name. He sighed, he knew it would be a nice payday but ONI loved to keep there secrets, he was only here until they could find enough troops to rebuild the suicide team. ONI was always careful about that making sure to pick orphans or those with little family or those who had a death wish for there operations as they were expendable and no one really came looking later or they had groan to expect it. He stopped as he reached the entrance way shrugging deciding that it simply wasn't worth the the thought he strummed the guitar tuning it up he sat on a crate left carelessly by the door and began to play. He would sing but he didn't know what to, beside better not to get to much attention the first day. So he sat there playing songs of the old Mid-western Earth, the kind you would here gathered around a campfire or in camp after a battle.

"Lucian I will give you time, I must attend to this I hope we meet again and brother, you deserve your happiness and know that I will stand by you in your choice." He patted Lucians shoulder leaving the couple as he lead the girl out the door. "Adelise you can tell me, everyone makes mistakes and I will not tell Maria if you wish me not to. You do not have the centuries of experience I do or the wise council of two old vampires like Maria does. No matter what it is we are family, tell me what has occurred." He patted her he comforting her, he may have been old but this was not the first time he had dealt with being a older brother, or at least playing the part of one.

Normally wearing Air Assault Armor painted black with many scratches and cuts.

Bio: Formerly a member of the ONI assault groups on board the Infinity and the only surviving member aside from Major Dare. (Assuming Dare got a promotion after the war.) He fought on the ground, watched his team be killed then he escaped with a data package for the ONI techs after that the team he was reassigned to was killed on board the Infinity once more he was reassigned to fight with Spartans after being rescued by a group of Spartans who were retaking Infinity he then joined in locking down the ship. His nickname was earned when a group of ODST's witnessed in the hangar (Who would later post the video online which ONI quickly covered up however copies still float between ODST's.) watched him jump on the back of a Promethean Knight Battlewagon and fired a rail-gun into it's open back-plate at point blank ruining his ODST armor causing him to swap back to his Air Assault kit. After this incident he became known affectionately as Knight by the ODST's for his daring and reckless act finishing his tour on Infinity ONI re-tasked Knight to ODST Squad Tidal Wave.

He's fought Forerunners and Covenant he's one of a kind, he can fight and hold positions on his own being as good a combatant using his Pathfinder training to deal with being outnumbered and outgunned. However his true calling is vehicles able to keep Warthog going with a barely any tools or repair a ghost in the field with humans tools. Recommend for Spartans augments however he has yet to sign up for the surgery as he is unsure if he wants to become a Spartan.

Personality: Corporal Knight has shown to stay cheerful even in bad situations however he has been known to get attached to the men in his squad effecting his judgement. Off duty records show that many of the soldiers regard him highly however he is not very social. Currently there is a betting pool to determine Knight's name, currently it is over 1500 credits.

Skills: Vehicle Expert/Commando

Family/Loved ones? Orphaned during the Human-Covenant war he was sent to Luna military academy where he grew up alone.

Other: His real name is Matthew Jacobs and he does not carry grenades in combat preferring to keep a pistol instead.
