It may seem awfully quiet at first glance, but the people here are understanding when it comes to everyone's posting schedules, and so we've been keeping it chill. As for hot-bloodedness, that is ok here as long as you don't charge frantically every opportunity that comes to you; some situations can't be passed through with simple screaming and courage. Blowing up stuff on the other hand...

Describing the character as a recon expert is another example of assuming experience that may not be there after the rolls are made, so you should refrain from doing that. I did notice how you tried to smuggle an additional weapon system in, but I'll allow it with the conditions that it's a once-per-battle use, and that it is the only attack available during the turn it's used.

Pretty much what @Ammokkx has said. The coma was a result of Mai basically losing the fight against the Cruxi, and if it weren't for Caretaker's intervention she would have died. Reflecting on one's self would be an example of a direction, as it were.
