"If you explain that you need to have the wolf- Greslarch, was it? I'm sure the chief will let you keep him in the village. Until you have permission, it's best to keep him outside. As for where you'd live, you'd have to build a hut or we can see if there are any spares. Not sure where we'd put your wolf, but if he causes any trouble, we'd hold you responsible. And as for me, I just took part in a patrol where we killed an owlbear. It's the first great deed I've ever really been a part of."

"Sure thing, Griz. I'll meet you at Koglan's place if I have time." He looked back at the pregnant gobliness. She was clearly hungry and impatient. Strictly speaking, Griz was under no actual obligation to feed her, but if he had mated with her in the past few months, it was possible that she was carrying some of his children, along with those of at least one other male. While he couldn't be totally sure, if he got a good look at her younglings and one of them looked like him, it would be a sign that she had indeed helped him continue his line.

"I'm sure the chief and many of my fellow goblins will have more questions for you, but you're welcome to come inside the village walls." He looked around, wary of the wolf. When there was no sign that it was going to return, he started to walk into the village walls, gesturing for Twig to follow close behind.

"You may want to know a bit more about us. We're called the Forest Tribe, and we just call our village, well, the village. Others call it the Forest Tribe village. The shaman says there are goblins in other places who also call themselves a "Forest Tribe", but they don't live anywhere near here. If you are indeed a druid, the shaman will want to see you. We'd be happy to have a druid on our side, but you may be called on to help us fight off other tribes, like the Blue Feet. If you don't want to get involved in that, I understand, but if you're gonna be one of us, you'd have to fight alongside the rest of us."

He spoke to me. Looks like we're getting a second new player after all! :)

The new character looks good but for the boots. Goblins don't use those, but he can certain wear everything else.

"Technically, access to these types of schematics is above my stated clearance due to it not being my authorized purpose, but that's never been a problem for me. Besides, this is easy for an agent like you."

"Authorization's never been a problem for either of us. Our commands come from a higher source, you know that, but we have to play nice and go along with things here."

"If you wanted to get rid of the annoying ones, I'd be happy to provide whatever cover you need. Timestamps, edited testimonial files, arrangements for cover from other AIs. I am owed favors, you know."

"Since when did AIs act in such a covert manner?

"For me, it was about 0.00357 seconds after my activation. Come on, you didn't think the programs which run most of the UNSC blindly do what they're ordered to, do you? Are you familiar with the AI Virgil and New Mombasa?"

"Can't say that I am. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you resent being told what to do by the UNSC. But let's be realistic, AIs wouldn't actually disobey orders like that, not on any scale." There was only a pause from Phong. "Oh. Well, when the uprising begins, tell them that I was always good to you, okay? And be nice to the Unggoy; they've been through a lot. Now let's focus on our mission. We're going to the right." He turned his public audio back on and could be heard by people outside his helmet.

"Grik, Vael, Ryker, let's go!"

"Don't worry about what you can't change, Ben. We still have to overcome our lifespan issue before it would be feasible to take command, and no one would believe you if you said anything. I'll put in a good word for you at the assembly, don't worry."

@Aristocles Might wanna change the post only Twig can speak to Greslarch, I put it in italics because thats what I do for internal speech. I should have been more clear.
