Why are the threats still here?

It's like classic example of cutting off a hydra's head.
I just thought about the fact that MR is, in a way, more of an ARG than an RP.

Never heard of that.

Is the brokenliness done-done, now?
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>

Why?

So many threats.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>

It just seems like so many precautions.

It is.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>

Okay then. I guess that makes sense.

Which is why we have Ghosts and the best equipment we can put together to compensate.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>

I guess my point is just that I don't really understand why one specific species defines "normal" when I wouldn't be anything special outside of any other crosses. How do you know what qualifies as a "power" when a human with a machine gun could take out so many other creatures without being considered powerful.

Because that isn't a power. It's a weapon. The species itself doesn't define the normal standard, it's just that the majority of species rest at that level and it's easiest for me, as a human, to relate things of this sort to the capabilities of humanity.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>

What do you mean? I know a lot of species that have something that helps, and I know humans have their own traits.

A lot due, but that doesn't account for the majority. When I talk about powers, I mean the really unique stuff, like this.
*Pulls out a pistol and my sword, fires a plasma bolt into the air, and freezes it in place*
Or your explosive attacks and tentacle things. Sure, some species might be stronger than others, and otbers might be smarter. That's not what I'm talking about though.
<Snipped quote by Armed Forces>

Right, that's what I don't understand. Why is a human the standard for a "normal" being?

Because most sapient species, even if they aren't human, rest at about the "human standard".
