Arla hissed through her teeth, anger seething. This other Twi'lek was a surface, living on the thin band of hospitable land between the frozen and burning sides. They were of a ruling class, lording it over the majority of those that had to live beneath the surface in order to survive. It was people like him that raided her people for slaves, stole their own crops of Ryll. One of her people would be traded for nothing more than a single blaster, which would further be used to subjugate her tribe.

"I should kill you," Arla spat in her native tongue, "You son of a rak'sha."

Snarling Arla pointed her blaster at the old stump lekku'd twi'lek and pulled the trigger. The dull black metal remained silent and did not hurl the hot light she was expecting. Flipping the light stick over, she shook it, and then pulled the trigger again. Why it would not fire completely boggled her mind. She had no idea what a safety even was, let alone how to disengage it.

"How work this light stick?" Arla demanded, turning to Russan, "No work! No work!"
Just make up a name I guess. It isn't particularly important. Just don't name the planet "Bob"
ctOS Personal Information Keeper

Name Sarah Covernry
Online Alias: "Tryst"
Gender Female
Age 19
Occupation: Prostitute, Part-Time Computer Science Student

Personality: Sarah is fairly selfish and more than a bit cowardly. In case of fire, she has no compunctions against knocking the little old lady over in order to be first one out of the building. That's not to say she is unkind or unfriendly. Being friendly can reap a great many rewards come the harvest. It's all a matter of investment. She definitely doesn't see anything wrong with a little altruism provided it's profitable.

Background Sarah did poorly in school, expecting her fine figure and attractive appearance to get her through life. Her parents were consistently disappointed. They expected her to get a decent job... and show some financial appreciation for her upbringing. Like parents, like daughter. Then when she graduated high school without any real prospects her parents threw her out of the house.

Turning to stripping and then to prostitution Sarah soon began to hear of the criminal element in the city that used computers to perform all manner of crime. After all, what was the first thing a fixer or hacker did with their ill gained loot? They partied! Now that was an education with prospects she understood. First taking online courses, she then branched out into day classes. She then used her street name for her online name on various forums.

Important Notes Sarah is not part of any particular hacker group as of yet. She has made numerous searches for "ctOS vulnerabilities", "Dead_Sec". "Seg_Fault", "Daemons" and "System Key" from her mobile device with a spoofed IP. She's new to the game but not stupid.

Thank you for putting your information in, Sarah Covenry,. ctOS will protect your personal information and ensures you that none will hack into your electrical items!
I'd tentatively say "Yes" to Kilo6's application.

Are you sure you don't want a squad of Spartan IV's? I don't think that would be too much to ask for.
Emperor Palpatine, the Emperor of the Great Galactic Empire looked over that tactical displays while sitting astride his throne. He had the appearance of one frail but he was strong where it mattered. The force buoyed him, kept him strong and protected him against the ravages of time. Hate had kept him strong, his giddy glee at being the most powerful being in the cosmos kept him young.

Now, without any warning, without preamble, he lofty position had been taken from him. He silently bore witness to the invasion of his Galactic Empire- his Empire. Rage possessed him, moved him in ways that he hadn't felt in almost two decades. For far too long he had been complacent. For too long he had nothing with which to vent his rage. Already he felt a century younger.

"So... my new mysterious adversaries. You would take that which is mine?" the Emperor cackled, "You shall have to fight for it."

The old man cackled, his raspy voice expressing not anguish but glee. Already the dark side of the force was feeding him visions of a galaxy on fire, of untold wanton death and destruction the likes of which it had never before seen not in any of the wars since the dawn of the Great Galactic Empire or even the Republic's twenty five thousand year rule.

Gesturing to his red robed guardsmen the old man brought himself to his feet in one swift movement and hefted a small cylindrical rod. HIs lightsaber, he had not wielded it since that night when the Jedi came for him in the High Chancellor's chambers.

"Ready my ship," Palpatine rasped, still mirthful as he strode across a cold grey steel bridge without railings that spanned a shaft so deep the bottom could not be seen, "Coruscant is lost but no matter. I am the Galactic Empire. This world is but a bauble."
Sarah moved wit Laura, following the carnage that was in her wake. While Sarah moved through the throng, choosing her targets with careful consideration Laura just plowed through them. That was not as if to say that Laura was lacking in grace. No, she was a force of nature. She was the Juggernaut, an unstoppable force. Goddamn, Sarah would never achieve her ability, not even if she trained for another twenty years. It wasn't just the mutant abilities, the reflexes, the acute senses or the metabolism that wouldn't quit. It was the sheer joy that Laura got from such exertion. She was born a fighter. Sarah, on the other hand, preferred to languish in opulence. Being an X-Man was just something she did for a day job, partially to repay the Professor for rescuing her and partially because she simply didn't have anywhere else to go nor anything else to do with her time.

Sarah slipped along the railing, bare feet grapping the wood as she moved along the periphery of the fight. One thing that provided her was a certainty that nobody was about to impale her from behind. Laura had engaged the captain and their steel blades danced, a rhythm that sounded like it could have been music. Apparently the scenario had stepped up the skill of their opponent. Whether it was to make up for the fact there were two of them or simply to match Laura's superior fighting skill Sarah had no idea.

Stabbing a passing sailor with her recently acquired blade she appropriated a pistol with powder still in the flashpan, drawing it from the holster on his chest even as he clutched his abdomen and fell across the planks. For a moment, Sarah considered shooting Laura in the calf, just to see how the program would react. Instead she ended up aiming for the captain, hoping perhaps to give Laura an opportunity to break his guard. To her surprise, the captain grabbed one of his own sailors and used him as a shield, catching the lead ball in his chest.

That was a surprise. She'd never seen that before. She'd done that herself often enough but for the Danger Room to do so was surprising. There was no choice for it then. She was going to have to close. Sarah poked at the captain's rear, trying to distract him.
Hey, I'm walking here!
Human trafficking, assassination, grow ops, car pinching, chop shops, weapon smuggling, hack meets (groups of hackers assembling to develop new tools for the trade. Probably how the profiler program came to be), protection rackets, blackmailing, dirty union deals, intimidation tactics against low bidders vying for contracts and so many more...

Humans are remarkably dastardly.
Not meaning to pressure you Rare but when can we expect an OOC/IC ?

A question that also serves as a bump... hee hee hee
Humans growing slave human soldiers and then putting implants in them? Somehow I don't see most ships getting along wuth that going on either.
