Our lovely GM could divide it into two threads for organizational purposes? One for each Samurai Lord and his followers.

Though, I was originally considering going after the demon and let the Samurai Lords hash it out. *grins* We'll ignore the possibility of simply going to the Shogun for a ruling. While more realistic that would be soooooo.... anticlimactic.

As always though, I'm going to try and determine where my GM wants me to go and support the direction. Messing with your GM, particularly when you have this many players, only hurts everyone.

Ichiko

Age: 21
Class: Onmyoji (Sorceress)
Powers: Ichiko is an Onmyoji. What the western world would call a witch or sorceress. The practice of Onmyōdō is an ancient one, originated in China and concerns itself with Yin, Yang, and the Five Elements. (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Void)
--Elemental bolts
--Protective Barriers made from the elements
--the ability to bless weapons to strike ghosts, reveal ghosts, and seal spirits (Remove this ability if someone plays a Shrine Maiden(Miko).)
--Divination

Weakness: Wears no armour. Skilled but not an expert in her hidden sword. If her snake familiar is killed she loses her ability to see and speak to spirits until she finds a new familiar.

Background: Ichiko began life as a normal girl to a struggling Samurai family whose lands were going fallow. Sold to a pleasure house as an Oiran, Ichiko eventually ran away but not until after she had been instructed in some of the basic arts. Luckily, while she was speaking with a kami, she caught the attention of a passing Onmyoji travelling between Samurai lands at behest of the reigning Daimyo. He was surprised to find a young child speaking with the spirit of a river and getting directions.

From then on raised as an Onmyoji, Ichiko grew more adept at speaking with the Kami and was taught about many of the supernatural creatures that walked the Land of Eternal Sun. She learned of Kitsune, Kirin, Oni, and more. Once trained, she departed, becoming a wandering Onmyoji, protecting the people of the land from the supernatural.

Fun Fact: Has a snake familiar.

The blast of electricity tearing the earthen encasement caused Darkshadow to cower, shielding her eyes. Her black filled eyes emptied of shadow and became azure blue once more. It stung. Most of her vision was one giant field of neon colours, rapidly shifting from one shade of green, becoming red, then yellow and finally blue before returning to green. Her retinas were burned but it was fading quickly. Her costume, for the briefest moment, almost faded from existence before snapping back to becoming near opaque.

"Move fast!" Sarah called out, not knowing what the Professor needed and only that Storm was a threat that needed to be neutralized, "someone hit her with the tranq gun before she gets back to blasting us!"

Not having a tranquilizer gun herself, Sarah opted to do otherwise. Aiming carefully, Sarah hefted a blunt ended javelin she had created completely out of shadow with little more than a thought. Gazing down its length she threw her arm forward and loosed the javelin, hoping to strike the African weather goddess in the jaw.

There's also the drawback that, even if the protagonists are together, their meat could be miles distant in different coppertop towers.

The elven courtesan watched Darkmoon go and began counting. Her sensitive ears listening to the cat's near silent footfalls. When she reached one hundred she carefully slid from the bed. Wincing, for she was only half healed, she padded silently over to the door. Ear pressed to it, she listened carefully before reaching for the latch and pushed down the metal leaf until it slid the bolt free.

The more she knew about this inn's patron and her staff, the better and now was a good time. Darkmoon had said that her mistress had descended to greet her new guests and those guests would need to be served. That meant the nymphs would be there as well. They wouldn't need to clean the rooms, not until they'd been slept in so this upper area should be clear.

Slipping down the hall, Assallya watched her gait. She had to be careful how she moved or the anklets she wore would begin to tinkle against one another but she had decades of practice when she was a slave in Calimshan. The harem had its own dangers for while no man was allowed within the chambers the women there did not spend all their days giggling and playing instruments like men outside thought. No, the harem was a dangerous place where the women within vied for power and the attention of the pasha.

Coming up to the first door, Assallya put her eye to the keyhole and peered inside, searching for a flicker of movement before daring to open the door.

Anime Samurai RP

The new version of "47 Ronin" is a great example of this. It features Kirin, Tengue and something that could have been a Kitsune or a Dragon... All in all, not a bad movie. it features the same plot as the old version. Mainly, the local daimyo is defeated/murdered and the samurai are made ronin and sent into exile.

They then defy the command not to seek vengeance and kick ass anyways before finally committing seppuku. After all, though they fought in the name of justice they still disobeyed a direct order from their Shogun!

*shrugs* Never came up. Though, I am curious as to how his or her followers manage such a faith in a pantheistic environment.
