Personality: Bormund, to say the very least, is a crass man. Proud, rowdy and belligerent, his attitude tend to put him at odds with more conventional soldiers and warriors who appreciate the discipline that he simply lacks. He does as he likes, takes what he likes and fights for what he likes as any good man would do. He's a particularly hedonistic fellow as well, owing back to his lack of discipline and idea that the strong should take which they want, leaving him with a strong lust for the baser pleasures in life. Though certainly rough around the edges, he has a certain bawdy charisma about him, and holds few grudges in terms of loyalty due to his self-serving nature.

Simple Description: Bormund dresses himself in rough tunics, sturdy trousers and simple leather backed scale armor. He often decorates himself in stolen trinkets, be they jeweled rings, simple braclets or sentimental valuables, as trophies of his conquests and victories.

I'm always interested in some Dark Heresy, but I'm struggling to come up with a fitting character. Bit of a stretch for a lot of Imperial types to look at an Eldar and go, "yeah, this is okay".

It is said looks are deceiving, and certainly this is the case with Bernia. Short in height and slender of build, the mercurial youngster cuts a very unintimidating form despite her temperament. Her fur is cinnamon brown in tone, intermittently specked with small pale spots along her back and blended into a milky white on her undercarriage. Her youthful features are quite clear, with a short muzzle, shiny black whiskers and large rounded ears perhaps just a tad too big for her head outing her as a rookie if her height did not. She does not often dress herself, seeing clothing as unnecessary, though she does keep a leather belt around her narrow hips to hold various pouches and tools, and perhaps more notably, insists upon wearing a copper band around the base of her tail.

Personality:

In possession of an aptly given alias, Bernia can best be described as thorny. She is capricious and hot-tempered, often spiteful and almost universally mistrusting. Self-serving as they come and greedy to a fault, she sees her apprenticeship at the watch as an opportunity to reach a better life for herself, in a manner than just happens to be considered 'honorable'. Her shunning of the noble ideologies of old, scornful behavior towards others and foul attitude towards authority figures lead her often to conflict and quarrel with her fellows, but she is not entirely negative. She is of strong will and not easily shaken, allowing her to think clearly in a crisis where some may cave to baser instincts and flee. Resourcefulness, a learned trait from years in the caverns, allows her to adapt to situations easily where some may faulter. All and all, she's an unpleasant mouse.

+/-Nighteyed: With eyes well adapted to dark burrows and pitch blackness, this mouse can walk the night free of terror. Their vision is no longer impacted by darkness, but they have difficulty seeing in bright light.
+/-Small: This mouse is noticeably smaller than their peers. They are harder to strike, easier to conceal and take less damage from falls, but struggle in competitions of strength and in striking an intimidating form.
-Kleptomaniac: The instinct to horde for the bad times is still strong in this mouse. They compulsively steal anything they believe they can get away with.

Trade: Street Urchin
Friend: Iuwine of Rosetown a Watcher of the Redfort who discovered young Bernia rooting through his knapsack. Rather than turn her into the guards or whop her himself, he decided to offer her the opportunity to earn a fair share in the Watch as a Greenband.
Enemy: Grinden Waldorf the youngest and thus, least important pup of Earl Godric Waldorf. A glory seeking noble, he despises the fact somebody of his station is considered equal in rank to lowly gutter trash like Bernia. After a scuffle involving the supposed theft of an heirloom ring, she is now the target of his wroth.
