"Mecha Cowboys" has less than a thousand hits on Google. I've never been more upset.

The VeggieTales theme song has been stuck in my head for at least three days now. Can't decide if it a good or bad thing yet.

Hey, this seems pretty neat! I do have a few questions...

1. Of the God Kings mentioned, how many of them are still alive and kicking it? Is it common knowledge what happened to each one?

2. If you got a dead God King, what happens to a person who was Remade? Do they go back to how they used to be, or are they still a fanatic?

3. How advanced is technology? Medieval fantasy where we get swords, spells, horses, and torches, or is it a little further ahead because "eh, magic"? Magic light bulbs? Magic trains? Magic flintlock pistols? Magic M60s with magic ACOG scopes!?
Well, seems like the rest of us are all still up for this. So keep those plans rolling. Maybe drop a fresh interest check?
I think everyone had a prog rock phase. Mars Volta used to be my jam. Just don't dig too deep, Shoh. Eventually you find yourself listening to hour long drone songs just to feel normal.

I used to be one of those classic rock guys where music stopped being made around 1982. These days I try to stay with newer releases on the more "indie" side of things, although I've been falling behind lately. Only got a handful of new albums last year. I'd say my taste nowadays tend to lean towards either folksy or baroque rock, some electronica, and punk. Been listening to the newest Titus Andronicus album that came out the other day. So good!
Name: Owen

Approximate Age Range: Early 20's

Gender: Male

Appearance: Owen stands at a respectable 6'6”, but long limbs and a twiggy, toneless muscle build makes him almost reminiscent of the wavy tube man seen outside of used car lots. His pale complexion suggests a Nordic ancestry, and his blonde hair and blue eyes all but confirm it. While Owen keeps his hair neat and slicked back with an undercut, a large, untrimmed beard that reaches the top of his chest gives him a more ragged appearance. Bloodshot eyes and a nose that appears to have been broken more than once add to this less-than-professional appearance. His lips, what can be seen of them, are thin and his teeth are beginning to yellow thanks to a combination of cigarettes and coffee.

Attire: Owen dresses casually more often than not. He wears a thin, gray zip-up hoodie over a faded “I'm a Pepper!® ” t-shirt. A pack of cigarettes and a lighter can be see trying to make a daring, if suicidal, escape from the pockets of the hoodie. His dark blue jeans are straight-legged and fit well, although he still wears a brown canvas belt. His socks are a mismatch of whatever the hell he could find, the current ones being a solid black one and an argyle one. His shoes are a well-worn pair of Chucks. In his pants pockets Owen carries a smart phone with a shattered screen, a house key, and a thin wallet.

If you met this person on the street and didn’t know them, what would be your first impression of them?

Generally, the first impression Owen gives is anything but impressive. Despite his height Owen seems more awkward than threatening at first glance, and his mildly higher-pitched voice and occasional stammer certainly does not help him command respect. As well, people tend to notice his constant fidgeting, often making people think he is either on something, up to something, or would be doing something else than talk to them. A lingering odor of stale cigarettes does not seem to make people warm to the idea of him being around, either.
Here's Part 1, Shoh. PM's going out now. Oh, and have this incredible urge to just tell you about a favorite song of mine called The Wilhelm Scream by James Blake.

All right, I pretty much finished up my character sheet. I'll post it up tomorrow morning. It's been a bit since I roleplayed, so I sure there's a whole mess of typos and inconsistencies that I would rather spare everyone from.
Working on my character, boss! Hopefully it doesn't take me too long.

After careful consideration I am making one final change: all references to there being only one survivor have been removed from the OP.

Cut to the end of the RP where Shohmyoh is referencing this very own edit between drinking our tears and fits of maniacal laughter to justify the inevitable ending where nobody survives.

I can't wait! :D
@ShohmyohMaybe look into some ethics or game theory experiments (e.g. Prisoner's dilemma, Ultimatum game, Trolley problem) for inspiration when it comes to the trials? Like say one of the trials involved playing a version of the Ultimatum game where one person divides 100 points between herself and a partner, but the partner can refuse and both of them get 0 points. Rationally, it wouldn't make sense for the partner to ever refuse because they never really lose anything, but putting a twist on the game (say after a certain amount of rounds between differing groups of partners the individual with the least amount of points dies or whatever) could promote the cooperation or subterfuge you want.
Likewise. This seems like it could be really fun.
