Sorry if it's a stupid question, but would it breaking any rules to have my character like... fall from the sky as his first appearance? Honestly, I just thought it'd be funny to do, but I don't wanna accidentally break rule 5

Background: A bard with a large following of fans and admirers... allegedly. He now travels the world in search of inspiration and widen his ever expanding legacy!

His main thing is that pulls and reads out a bunch of fan mail from his backpack whenever he has trouble deciding things (and it's more than likely that he... wrote all of it himself beforehand).

Also I don't have any rp examples on the forums you can check out, but I can send some of my discord RP stuff (screenshots) if needed. I normally do one or two paragraphs, although my actual paragraph length is like 3 sentences or so, I rarely go over 4 sentences for flavor reasons. I can make it work though

Tbh 'rules' should have been the word I used instead of logistics, just wondering the scope of what kinds of powers would be allowed, how much does the morph change how they look? If heaps, do people still recognise them? Are villain OCs allowed? That kinda stuff.

Ohhh, I think for scope, honestly mid-level powers should work? Like nothing crazy powerful, but still useful. The only kind of powers I wouldn't allow is like time-travel/time-stopping (I've never personally seen it work before); that's mainly it though

For morph changes, it depends on how much your character is hiding their true self from others. If they're relatively honest/not very secretive, their morph would be a clothes change at most. If it's the opposite, and they're more secretive, the morph can basically change everything about their appearance--something like a dragon install from Guilty Gear, but you can go more animalistic if you feel it fits

(dragon install example just in case anyone needs it)

For villain OCs, I'll allow it! You can take your character in any direction you want, I don't really mind haha.

I’m just waiting to see what the OOC and character sheet looks like.

Is there like anything specific I’d have to provide (for logistics)? This is my first time making a thread like this on the forum, so admittedly I’m not sure what to put. I can figure out a more detailed write-up on plot/mechanics over the weekend if needed

Avatar - Superpower RP

An RP about character exploration and development set in modern day.

The plot would be your characters learning how to embrace their true selves while working to protect the world from villains (who use their avatars for bad).

The main mechanic and gimmick (I'm not sure of a better term) would be that each character has an "avatar" that they can shift into to access a powered up form and their powers. Avatars represent the parts of their personalities that they're hiding/repressing for various reasons, think masking, but taken to the extreme. To access a character's avatar, they have to metaphorically unmask or something like that; I guess it only happens when they're truly ready to embrace themselves or something akin to that? I'm not really sure; you can just think of it as a Power Rangers morph for now.

"Who wants to rule the world?" Roleplay about evil geniuses fighting superheroes, but with meta-jokes.

Love the concept so far! I actually have a character concept in mind already, but I'll wait for when there's a sheet to fill or something like that haha. The idea is that they're an annoying theater kid trying to hold onto their HS days or something like that, which is why they want to rule the world

Would we all be working together to rule the world or would we also be fighting each other as scientists? How does the whole gifted human stuff work; is there a small chance to be born with powers?
