The Fairies Adventure

A Fairy is a magical creature you may have read about in storybooks. They take the form of winged humanoids with pointed ears. Contrary to popular belief, Fairies are not all female. They are naturally small, but can use magic to change their size and become the size of a human if needed. All fairies have magical powers. The most common types of fairies control one of the six elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, and Darkness. There are also a few fairies with unique types of magic.

While fairies like to travel, and can be found anywhere, they reside in the feywilds. A realm exclusively for fairies and some other creatures… It is rare for non fairies to enter the Feywilds. Typically the only way to do so would be with an invitation from a fairy.

Every year, the fairies hold a festival for themselves. The location of the festival changes depending on who’s hosting it. This year it is hosted by Prince Sky Sparkledust, in Feydellia. The largest and central kingdom in the Feywilds. This year's Fairy Festival was supposed to be a celebration of all things pink and sparkly. Sweets were being baked, events were being planned, and fun was on the way. However, trouble was brewing in the Feywilds. There were reports of fairies going missing. There were some that thought the festivities should be canceled until the problem was solved, but Sky was not concerned. Canceling the festivities would only cause people to panic more.

But a day into festival, tragedy struck. Several fairies were turned to stone. Including Sky’s parents… Now, the prince has gathered a ragtag group of fairies to help him find the cause of this, and devise an antidote for the petrified fairies.

Feywilds Locations

Feydellia: Kingdom of the Light Fairies. The largest and central kingdom in the Feywilds. A cute and whimsical kingdom on top clouds. The clouds colors can be changed, but the royal family really likes pink. There is always a rainbow in the sky.

Pompfey: Kingdom of the Fire Fairies. A kingdom out in the middle of the desert. The kingdom itself has greco-roman architecture, and the center of the kingdom is a large active volcano.

Transfeyvania: The Kingdom of Dark Fairies. The place is filled with Gothic victorian architecture. Where most of the Feywilds are vibrant and colorful, Transfeyvania is dark and muted. It is always overcast in this kingdom.

Luminous Forest: A forest that is known for bioluminescent plant life. Particularly the mushrooms.

Lumina: Hidden in the luminous forest is the kingdom of the Earth fairies. The town is surrounded by towering trees and glowing mushrooms. The fairies make their homes within the trees. Various creatures roam the streets freely.

Feydale: Kingdom of the Air Fairies. A kingdom located high in the sky, floating above everyone else. The kingdom has a steampunk aesthetic.

Fairy Falls: A river outside the luminous forest with a spectacular waterful.

The Fey Tropics: A coastal kingdom overlooking the Feywilds sea. Home of the Water Fairies, and has a tropical aesthetic. Sunny days and palm trees abound!

The Minty Mountains: A range of snow covered mountains. Many water fairies who specialize in Ice magic make their home here.

Kingdom Hearts: So You Wanna Be A Hero, Kid?

Another portal appeared, and Conner stepped out, equipped with a Keyblade Trident. He was new to this whole keyblade wielder business, but so far Conner loved it. Action, adventure, and more importantly, he was chosen for this, and his sister was not.

Conner appeared in the middle of a castle courtyard, and all of a sudden, he felt very underdressed for the occasion… Oh well, nothing that could be done about it now.

Apparently they were here because there was a Princess of Heart here, and they were there to find her. That was important for something, but Conner didn’t really remember for what. He was more interested in learning magic, and learning to fight with this new weapon he had gotten.

When he arrived, somebody else was already there waiting. And a cute shirtless pretty boy no less. Conner grinned. “Yo, aloha mate!” The surfer boy greeted them. He made a hang loose gesture with his free hand. “Name’s Conner. When are we gonna get this party started huh?”

World of Light

The longer Bede was in this town, the weirder and weirder things got. After encounters with several weird creatures, they soon entered a forest. At least, what Bede thought was a forest. It wasn’t like any forest he had ever seen. The sky was striped, and some of the trees had eyes on them. Everything was not the color it was supposed to be.

Even among the sea of strangeness, they found Tora right away. He was being led by an Elgyem. Finally! Something familiar, at least for Bede. The young Pokémon Trainer smirked. “Ooh, I know what that is. That’s a Pokémon. It’s an Elgyem. I’ve seen them a few times in Galar. They have strong Psychic powers. Some people believe they are not from this world, but I find that hard to believe. I don’t know what it wants with your friend. I suggest you two stand back. As an expert Pokémon trainer, I have this situation under control.” He sent out his Hatenna. “Hatenna, use Disarming Voice!”

Hatenna jumped foward and opened her mouth, releasing a beam of pink soundwaves surrounded by hearts and musical notes from it at the Elgyem.

The attack startled, and knocked the Psychic type back. Of course, the cerebral Pokémon was not happy about being attacked, and retaliated by teleporting close to Hattena, and firing a beam of Psychic energy at point blank range. A point blank Psybeam hurt the Hatenna, but since Psychics usually resisted other Psychics, the Hatenna was able to shake it off.

Bede was not impressed. “Really? Is that the best you can do? How sad. My dear Hatenna resists Psychic attacks. Hatenna use Round!”

Hatenna let out another high pitched screech, causing the Elgyem to hold it’s ears in pain. Did Elgyem even have ears? Whatever, they had to hear sounds somehow. While the Elgyem was distracted, Bede pulled out a Pokeball, and threw it at the Elgyem.

The ball opened up, and sucked the Elgyem inside. Then the ball shook. One click, two click, three clicks, and then the ball hummed. Bede was now the proud owner of an Elgyem.

Bede picked up the ball, and proudly flipped his hair. “And that’s how you do it.” That Elgyem was kind of cute… And it could be great if it had the guidance of an amazing trainer like Bede.

He then walked up to Tora. “What about you? Are you alright?”

Pokémon: Rust

The boy sneered at him, and George had to wonder what this guy’s problem was. After all, he was the one robbing a clothing store. He was probably upset he got caught. Whatever the case, it looked George was going to get the action he wanted. Then, Oriana came running in with her rock, telling George to be careful. “Relax. I got this!” Regardless, the battle had begun, and it was a double battle. The guy sent out two canine Pokémon, a Houndour and a Yamper. The Yamper had targeted Oriana’s Pokémon, while the Houndour used Smog on Devastator.

The small dragon was enveloped in the poisonous gas, and started flailing his arms and coughing.

George furrowed his brows. “Again with this poison shit?” Devastator had already been poisoned by Venom earlier, and now this? Well, not this time. He rolled his eyes. “Shake it off Dev! Break through the Smog, and fire an Ember at the Yamper.”

In between coughs, Devastator opened his mouth, and fired a small ball of fire in the direction of the Yamper.

Why I Roleplay Female Characters (As a Cisgender Man)

I predominantly play queer men/boys because that’s what I feel most comfortable with. I’ve played Females plenty of times, and even a Genderfluid Non-binary Elf. It all depends what I feel like doing.
