Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

What is the server name for this site on discord. I'd like to see what's going on there.
@balthazar007 Hmm the group dynamic here could use some work... Maybe make a discord? I'm on there more nowadays and the site hosts its main chat there too.

That's not a bad idea. I haven't used discord before, but I here good things.

As you accept people into your organization, you need to be editing their names into your organization 'characters' post.
@KiritoAsuna
When you are joining an organization, your character and the character responsible for making you join will receive bonus trainer points. In your most recent case, I can't tell which character doin more responsible, Cillian or Shanae. I would guess Cillian, because your decision hinged upon what he would do.

Hello everyone,

Everyone that has thus far been accepted into an organization have been approved, and all points have been awarded. I've also edited League Prime's bonus point section to help bring it closer to the Helping Hands Guild in regards to the rate at which it can earn bonus points.

Thanks everyone! I hope this RP isn't moving along TOO slow for your taste or TOO fast for others. Remember, there is no pressure to post quickly, but with a writing buddy, you can do so.

Sincerely,
Balthazar007
@Dusksong

Collaborative writing and solo writing still deal out the same number of points per post (unless you're part of the Helping Hands Guild or something like that).

EDIT: No, if someone allows you to write as their character for the sake of advancing your story line, the character that does not belong to you will not receive any trainer points.

You're own characters can interact with each other, definitely. They just won't receive any bonus points. That would be broken.
@balthazar007Ohhh haha right. That would be bad. Maybe limit it to once every two days in-game or something? Or that you only receive the referral bonus for a specific trainer once.

Here's my solution. The main point to any referral system is to get your active members to help recruit new people. Once a person has been a part of one organization, they are no longer new to the idea. So, you will only get the bonus points if you recruit a new member. I'm also going to award people the 5 point bonus for joining their first organization.
@Dusksong

Yes. I would have to tweak the rules behind the referral system bonus points though. If you know what I'm talking about.

Nick

Nick woke to something very heavy upon his chest. His eyes were slow to open, but when they finally pulled apart, he discovered the reason behind his awakening. His new buddy Munchlax had awoken before him, and the little guy was obviously getting hungry for breakfast.

"Munch Munch." The little blue Pokemon gently nudged. Nick couldn't be mad at his new friend. He should have put him in his Poke Ball if he didn't want this interruption. After all, Pokeballs do put Pokemon in a state of suspended animation. At least that's what he heard from one of his friends when he was younger.

"Okay okay. Give me a minute to get ready." Nick walked around the Poke Center bedroom as he collected his things. The morning sun shone brightly through the curtains despite their attempt to block the invading rays of light. A quick glance at his Pokedex revealed that he was waking up way later then he had anticipated. Munchlax's internal timer must be more reliable than his own; he would keep this in mind for future reference.

Side by side, the duo walked downstairs to the Poke Center's public cafeteria. Luckily they were still serving their free continental breakfast. Nick ate like a bird while his Munchlax ate enough for three or four Pokemon it's size. Nick decided to leave before they overstayed their welcome. Nick started to walk back home to see his parents one more time before he finally left the Central City area. He didn't know when he would see them again; his Pokemon journey could take many days.

As Nick walked, a thought struck his mind. He looked down at his content buddy as he spoke quietly, "I haven't given you a name yet have I? How about... 'Little Man'? I call you that enough as it is." Munchlax smiled in agreement, obviously feeling the endearment in Nick's voice. "I suppose that name will become rather ironic after you evolve. That's fine though. I love irony and sarcasm. Those are my second and third languages."

@balthazar007 Oh, does Shanae not start with the preliminary 5 trainer points and Pokeball haha. Well then, I guess she'll just have to wander aimlessly about for a bit ._.

Though... I do suppose that she should get five points for her first post of the month. My bad there! Haha. Hold on, I got ya.
