Seeing the toy man from before amidst the dangerous and seemingly random tornado, Drake would leap into the air, resisting the force long enough to grab hold of his legs, his hands morphing into scaly claws as I locked onto my foot. With the aid of the tornado my wings started to flap about to help in tearing them off the ground. Trickles of flames were trailing off of my feet, tail, and wings, dissipating in the wind

With Griffin putting me on the spot, I was frozen and flustered, trying to think of a retort or statement. It took me a few minutes to break from my stupor "h-hah, ofcourse not! Its just I wouldn't want to disgrace my partner like that, after all, that would make things complicated and she deserves better." I said, though I didnt stutter as much, and my voice was confident. My smile was faked and I had my eyes closed, averting my gaze from the group. Sacrificing my pride for that statement was the most painful thing I had done to myself, even more so when I almost choked on the chain from alicia's weapon when I first used her.

I would be flustered at his statement, and Id stomp my foot in protest, "n-no why would i do that, there are plenty of other girls that would be better for that anyway!" I'd stammer, blushing.

I would again smirk back to Alicia briefly. Looking back at the crowds of early students, I would look to the end of the maze's survivors, while of course they were weak now I was sure of their potential. In addition they're seemed to be plenty of cute girls to flirt with, though I was worried of how Alicia would yell at me about the subject.

Returning to my room, I sighed in relief. Though my room was only lit by my eye its foundations were much more comforting and didn't give me a dangerous impression. However once I got comfortable anger would surge through. "How could I? The great and almighty Fafnir, be intimated by mere darkness?!" I thought to myself allowed, clenching my fists before throwing the gem on the bed. "Impossible, surely it was just the cold conditions, nothing scares a dragon, let alone a knight." I grumbled, giving myself false reassurance and lies of my greatness. As I began to lie to myself, I would sprawl back over my treasure horde, more careful of it as I didn't want it to spill again.
