Current Euh. It's been a hot minute. Things are rather different for me now, and I don't know how that translates to my presence here.

I don't *think* I'm a bad person. I might be wrong there. I try not to be, even when I screw it up for want of social awareness.

Hello, I am me from the internet. I migrated here from Kongregate's Forum Games Forum, so feel free to look for me there if you wish to follow a career in internet stalking people. (ಠ_ಠ) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Infamous Quotes From People Who Exist

“I really don’t follow how your faith believes its perfectly acceptable to doom 4,000 years plus of sentient beings, on a pre-set path of no escape from sin, just so their descendants can be offered the ‘chance of salvation’ when the god murders its own son.”
~vikaTae

“Don’t be an ass or a pussy, ’lest you get screwed by life. Being a mouth or a hand is somewhat safer, and an eye socket is pretty much sacred in this regard, so always keep a look out.”

The situation was becoming less and less fun by the second. Another Marine had shown up, this one with a scythe of some sort; a giant monkey creature fell from the sky with a rock cone and broke the ground and probably a good portion of the prison itself into pieces, sending debris flying everywhere; and then a giant tree was grown by Fadel, drawing everyone up into its branches, either safely or not, with Dirk himself being in the former category. The monkey-person's attack meant he'd taken a rather large rock to the arm, though the damage was fortunately limited to bruising as far as he could tell, and he was now a great distance above the ground, with no reasonable way of getting back down once all was said and done.

At least this let his Divine Purpose function properly. The dense foliage should make Dirk all but invisible so long as he moved to the right places... and that should give him exactly the opportunity he needed to strike, if he could find it. Standing back upright, and taking a look around to get his bearings again, he drew his trusty kitchen knife in his left hand and began silently climbing toward the sound of fighting, hoping that he'd be able to deal out a significant strike sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, Dirk is just sitting there in the background masturbating trying to figure out a way to either backstab somebody without dying, or else just getting out of there in one piece. Pun not intended. I imagine the ground suddenly blowing up would be a bit of a problem for that whole scenario.
@Ira@LokiLeo789 Real obsidian is not like it is in Minecraft. I, uh, don't really have much else to contribute there, aside from the note that neither obsidian nor marble are structurally potent so far as tensile stress resistance goes.
@LokiLeo789@Ira Yeaaaah, I feel like the Seastone would kind of just... stab through the protection of Raijin Mode. Or rather... well, let's just see what the wiki page has to say.

However, it has been shown that although a Devil Fruit user loses his/her powers when in contact with the Seastone, said powers can still be used on and affect the Seastone, since Smoker's Seastone-tipped jitte can turn into smoke along with the rest of him. Another example is when Mr. 3's candle wax key could open Seastone cuffs and cell doors, though this may be because the locks themselves are not made of Seastone or because the wax has no Devil Fruit powers inside it, as shown when he unlocked Ace's Seastone handcuffs. Another example is when Shiki levitated battleships in Marineford, despite the hulls being lined with Seastone. Trafalgar Law was also able to switch Seastone chains with regular ones, using his abilities.

...so, it seems to me that activating Super Spark Human has, ironically, reduced Rayne's protection against Seastone compared to his normal state of forcefieldedness, since the Seastone attack wouldn't necessarily have been able to break through the force field without its user having sufficient strength to pierce the force field first. Once it hits your skin, it works immediately. So... nice job breaking it, golden super mode?
Man this hasn't had much activity. Uh, in case it was missed, @Major Ursa and @Guardian Angel Haruki, I did another Rodney post. So there's that.
@LokiLeo789 Oh, so he could make a bomb spear instead of just throwing bombsplosions at a target? Or, uh... examples would be appreciated, really. And we're still waiting on @dragonmancer too, so there's a thing.
@LokiLeo789 When it awakens, he'll be able to turn everything into explosive force fields. Yiiiiiikes.

Dirk had survived worse than a mere two bullets before. Technically speaking, the Battler was worse than any number of bullets. However, the Battler had never been hired to kill Dirk - his attacks had always been non-lethal in nature, if only just, and even then, he'd always been healed by her, the other slave with the flesh-moulding ability. This man, who by now was unmistakably a master of the Six Styles, was clearly murderous, and the bullets alone would certainly have been lethal if not for the prisoner's force field deflecting them. A force field that was now dissolved in favour of... more explosions.

Dirk had withdrawn as fast as he could, and the force of the detonations still knocked him over. It was evident how outmatched and useless he'd end up in a straight fight... so, he'd need to figure out a more tactical approach, if he could. Using his prone position to begin crawling, he moved up next to the nearest wall, standing up next to it so as to remain a section of the background compared to the fight proper; his Divine Purpose would normally be more than enough for him to pull out of a fight unnoticed, but in these conditions, he couldn't rely on it perfectly, and any improvement to it was welcome. But, if the Divine Purpose held true, and if Dirk could figure out a way of injuring the Six Styles user without it being blocked or dodged by one of the many abilities the martial art's users acquired as a result, the way the Battler had achieved so frequently in the past, then maybe he could contribute in a decisive fashion... he just needed an opening.

@LokiLeo789 That was the plan anyway. I just need to figure out how to keep Dirk out of imminent danger, as well as determining if he has any logical way of being useful to the fight with three cutlasses and a kitchen knife, or less. Maybe some sort of precisely-timed backstab when Zepp's not paying attention, or an attack on a soft surface if he can figure out Zepp's weakness?
Reminder to self: Dirk cannot yet dodge bullets, or stop them injuring him. Fortunately, it was already established that Xerxes put up a large-ish forcefield moments before, so with everyone else ignoring them, I can only presume the bullets bounced harmlessly off of that. Now, how does he avoid getting exploded horribly...?
