Personality: Charlyn is a very adventurous girl, always seeking exciting experiences. Although she often faces fears in those situations, she tries to cover them up and act all tough. She is a very talkactive girl and says what's on her mind most of the time.

Her natural instict is to observe a situation, evaluate it, and then react the best way possible. She gives great credit to those who achieve great things with their minds, especially when it is about creating something new. Although acting childish often, she is able to think and react mature for her age, too.

Charlyn likes to spend her more silent days with her nose down some book and discover a new world and fall right into it. She has gone to school and learnt new things happily and was always having good grades. Though if she has no interest in a subject, she will not at all care to learn for it more than making it a "D" at least.

She is a very positive girl and likes to see the glass rather as half full than half empty and will still consider it half full if she drinks it up completely. Maybe that's her being foolish, maybe that's her being an optimist.

True friendship is the most important thing to her and she's a very social, outgoing person. She would do anything for her friends and would never leave them behind. She is also someone to enjoy ditching class sometimes, getting into trouble and feeling the taste of the forbidden.

History: Charlyn was born and raised in the wizarding world, somewhere near London. When she was born she was brought into a family that had just had been hit by a tragedy. Her older brother Jax, 17 back then, had accidentally killed the 12-year-old brother Jonah. In shock and fear by what he did and what the consequencces would be, he fled. The parents, including a heavily pregnant Mila, and their eldest son Nylon were searching for the 17-year-old Jax for a long time. Neither them nor anyone else could find him.

When Charlyn was brought into the world her parents decided to give her the middle name "Johnna", after their lost son Jonah. They have never talked much about it, but it always hung and still hangs above the family like a sword ready to fall down at them. Jax was never seen again.

And so Charlyn grew up with only one brother out of three. But he was a loving, careing brother; and so were her parents. She had always had everything she needed and her parents has been overly protective over her. They were a middle-class wizarding family, her brother Nylon working with dangerous animals and bringing in money for the family and her father working in the mistery holding them up at their middle-class status. Mother Mila was working in St Mungos, but has reduced her time there by a lot to be closer to Charlie.

Chalyn knew only what has been told about her two brothers, Jax and Jonah. It was hard for her to realize that she would never be as perfect as little dead Jonah. You can't compete with a dead child. But she still felt loved and needed in her family.

Ghosting characters has to first be talked about with the GM. Especially if the GM has taken over on one character for ghosting it already. Only exception makes family members of your character - those are always in your hands.

Please add your WAND with description of WOOD, LENGTH, CORE and FLEXIBILITY into your character sheet.
PLEASE put it right above your informaion for "family, history, personality" (the longer info) and if possible underneath the information "name, nicknames, date of birth, ect" (shorter infor) -- so it would be right inbetween those

If you read this, you have now the chance to join a bunch of mischievous, clueless, 11-year-old 1st-years in their adventure through Hogwarts, the school for Witchcraft and Wizardy, to learn all about magic and to feel not the slightest endangered by the three-headed-dog we let roam free, and the deadly giant human-eating spider in our forests, or even some werewolf teacher that might forgot to take their potion... Ah all of that is old news. I ensure you nothing of that will happen again. Probably.



Now, to see if you are truly worthy of this not-at-all dangerous but yet exciting new chapter in your life, please look for your acceptance letter. If you didn't seem to have received one, here are some useful advices:

• Search the fireplace for accidentally burnt paper
• Search on the roof
• Look at every door that might have been mistaken for the main door
• Make sure you didn't move to an island with a wooden, old hut on a giant rock in some stormy weather
• If all that doesn't help: look for a knocked out owl somewhere near your place

On another note, it could also be that you received too many acceptance letters. Such as 2, 3 or 50. In that case we apologize, our mail department is still a little rocky.



Now to the more exciting stuff. The departure from your boring life into your new home, Hogwarts. I am sure you will handle the situation just fine. So yeah I gotta go now, I have things to do. But -- here's your ticket. And don't be late.



The Hogwarts Express departs on 1st September 2016 at exactly 11 o'clock in the morning. Make sure to be on it when that happens.



Oh, and also don't forget to visit the Diagon Alley before that to get all the things you need. I hope you still have your shopping list from Hogwarts! Well, I really gotta run now, buddy. But I'll see you soon! Hopefully.

Hey yo!

I was just wondering if anyone would be up for a shot at a Hogwarts RP?

I was thinking about starting in the 1st year of Hogwarts school (aka at 11 years old).
I would interact as GM and character both, if that is okay.
I would give the characters tasks every now and then to keep it interesting and alive.
Tasks are just moments that fit into the storyline (be it meeting something rather dangerous or anything else)
The year would be 2016 (aka AFTER HARRY POTTER)
I would keep track of the days (and even skip some if everyone feels there's the need for it), so we can reach a second year or holidays or whatever!
Anything can be talked about or changed!

I would like to keep it "realistic", as in the kids not being too overpowered and un-scare-able or something.

Is there even an interest there?
