@kingkonrad How I'm coming across after 2 sentences of inquires in an interest check? Have we RP'd before together or something? Because if we haven't I think its really irrational to start making inane assumptions about what kind of roleplayer I am or what my kind of character is before I've even created one.

So let me put your worries to rest, you don't sound like a dickhead at all, just presumptuous and a little paranoid.

Best of luck with this RP though, regardless of your tone, its a very good concept.

Okay. Wow. This could have been taken better couldn't it have been?

Let's try and look at this.

We are not looking for "generic" operatives. Mercenaries, Roughnecks and Contractors, which was your major choice, are not what we are looking for here. This is a slightly more serious RP then that. As it's far, far too easy to just pin that role in and let it roll. A serious idea calls for a little more serious thought into what a character should be.

Let's face it a "private-hired ops marksman" is horribly generic and just wouldn't fit into a team of highly trained and specifically kitted soldiers that are going to be in this RP. It doesn't mesh.

We thank you for your interest, but we just don't think you have the drive and serious imagination to succeed in this RP.
I of course am working on my CBRN trained character. Never know when you will need someone who knows his way around those types of hazards. We can't all walk a dirty nuke out of an AO. Sometimes you need some actual training.

You've got me my friend. You've got me.
I want to apologize to everyone. I'm so sorry.

It's my fault I know. Konrad heading off to school, I figured he wouldn't be back for who knows how long, so I was prepared to wait until the christmas break for him to begin posting again. So I just kinda drifted away.

Then there was Fallout 4 coming out and taking me hostage, making it hard for me to tear myself away. Today is in fact the first day where I haven't played it for longer then 2 hours.

I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart, truly sincerely for my lack of ability to post. And my piss poor posting at that.

I'm doing you all a huge disservice for not posting more regularly. None of you deserve that.

I am truly deeply sorry.
Draven clicked away at his keyboard, "I got you all. Sorry about the commentary. That hack was intense. Like sex, digitally, and without worry of STDs." He chuckled. Bringing up the security feeds he started to record short spurts of video for the cameras. Including when gaurds moved past them while on patrol. He looked up and smiled, "Okay I've got just about everything I need to make it look like everything is fine. I have control of all the cameras, alarms as well as out going communications. Incoming Comms are on another line but I can do something about that shortly. Let's see what can I give you." He worked at the control he had biting his bottom lip softly as he worked.

He grinned, "No one can send anything out. Give me abit with sending anything in. I can blank the cameras and put up images of them working on their end. No one will see you. I can't do anything about gaurd rotations on my end. It'd be too sticky to do that." He clicked his way through what he had, "Top floors the objective. Get that back door in for me, and there won't be a hint of anything on there."

With several swipes of his fingers and clicks of the mouse he had a variety of applications open ready to go. Data miners warming up, viruses, malware and deadly like security killers. He could burn the servers out too with something his friends had cooked up recently. And he brought that up too, "Alright. Let's do this, I have the cameras ready to go. I can shut them down in sequence as you go."
Nolan darted out to the next cover point being very careful as he went. The patrol that Andrew had spotted continued on. Nolan slipped into cover. Turning his head slowly scanning the area. His pistol coming up to cover Andrew as he moved up. As Andrew moved up and got in cover Nolan scanned about. He listened carefully for any approaching enemies. Then leaned out and darted just a little further, melding into shadow. He looked Andrew's way, "Right, be careful. I got this weird itchy feeling on the back of my neck like I've got a high powered scope watching me." Nolan darted across one of the pathways of the camp. Sliding into a shadow, peering up the path, then back down it. Before continuing on his way to the IFVs.

He got down on his hands and knees, and crawled under the first one. This thing had been repaired and broken, and repaired and broken so many times, that it had holes in places the mechanics just couldn't take the time to repair. Nolan wiggled his way under and found a breach in the chassis armor, a rough, dirty and rusty hole in the bottom just forward of the engine. He sighed and whispered into his mic, "I'm gonna get tetanus from this aren't I?" Pulling out a stick of C4 he stuffed it up in there, making sure that it would kick off and atleast destroy the engine. Who knows he might be able to get the fuel tank too, set the IFV aflame. He carefully crawls his way out from under the IFV.

Stopping dead when he's mostly out, as a soldier comes walking around from the side. Before the woman by the looks of her can say anything Nolan has grabbed her in a headlock. Cranking it once to shock her into submission then pulled her back and into the shadow of the IFV. He held her there as she squirmed in his grip and he waited to make sure no one else showed up or she wasn't part of a patrol. After a few moments passed he whispered, "I'm so sorry..." To her, before locking his arm around her neck, cutting off air and the flow in her arteries. And squeezed. She started to fight, trying to claw him off her, but those movements became slower, less pronounced. His hand clamped over her nose and mouth, no air...no blood flow. It was over quickly. When he let her go she had a blue tinge to her skin already. He checked her quickly, feeling no pulse then moves on. He felt a little bad for doing that for abit. But he had a job to do. He couldn't feel bad for long. He moved onto the next IFV. Checking the underside of it like he did the last, finding no easy way to rig that under there. Instead he spiked the barrel of the IFV with the stick of C4. It'd have to do.

He slid back into cover. And made his way to the tank carefully. Having to pop a pair of soldiers who just wouldn't move. Double taps, back of the head, dropping them both he then spent some time to pull the bodies into some cover. He made it to the tank. An old T-80. Seen better days and better times. Probably some old ancient cold war deal, some arms dealer somewhere had in a storehouse, and these guys thought it'd be intimidating. Facing modern Abrams tanks that the Joint Forces are fielding as well as Bradley and other fighting vehicles these IFVs and this old tank would be utterly annhilated in a matter of minutes. Nolan placed a pair of IR beacons on the tank, hiding them in such a way that the attack vehicles sent would be able to see it.

He made his way to another section of cover. Then pressed a finger to his throat mic, "Armor's been marked. How about the ammo?" It had gone well enough, he'd only had to kill three of the outposts garrison to do it all. He peered about, "Trying to spike those MGs and mortars is likely a death sentence. Finish what you're then start to exfil. We mark the area for ordance once we get back to the hide and for an aerial attack. Mark those MANPAD equipped trucks too. I think we've about overstayed our time here." Nolan started to pick his way towards the outer walls of the outpost carefully. Passing nearby one of the AA trucks as he did. Placing a IR beacon on it so he could see it from the hide. The end game of this place is coming up. It'd be a hell of a thing to watch.
Wakhan Corridor, West of Fort Breshna

Nolan stared through the scope on his Tac50, licking his lips clean of the salt of a few hours in their hide. They'd been watching the road up too Fort Breshna for two days now. Day and night, taking turns getting a kip and then checking the scopes and binocs, relaying information back to the FOB. They'd been watching a particular outpost here for about a day now. Watching it slowly build up. Troops from the Fort up the road and up the mountain slowly filtering in, a single ancient looking T-80 MBT, mounted LMGs and HMGs.

They were fortifying the hell out of the place, like they know that something was coming and they were trying to prepare. There had ben convoys going south and north as well, where they knew there were other outposts. But this particular outpost was the one that the taskforce would encounter head on as they moved in. Nolan sighed and rolls to his left, away from his rifle. He sighed and rubbed his eyes, and reached down with his boot and nudged Andrew, "Hey...think we're either going to need to make a judgement call here, or call back to the General. This outpost is hot." He groaned then reached for the radio.

He switched the frequency to a coded one then began, "Fallen Angel to HQ, message over." He waited a moment or two, then got a response, "HQ to Fallen Angel, send it, over." Nolan looked out over the base, "Holding position at Grid 33101, Enemy base within four hundred meters. Heavy deployment of assets, request advice over." Some time passed when a new voice joined the call, "Fallen Angel, this is Golf Foxtrot Lima, you copy?" Nolan pulled back abit, "Wow the General himself." He cleared his throat, "Golf Foxtrot Lima we copy. Orders? Out?"

General Lawrence on the other end smiled, looking down at his map, "Orders are as follows Fallen Angel, do everything in your power to make a mess of that base. Wait until sundown if you have too. Get in there, set charges, kill and maim if you must, Vangaurd team drops in one day. With Sword Unit to come up behind them past that location. You have green light to do all the damage you can think of. How copy? Over." Nolan grinned brightly, "Gold Foxtrot Lima, Fallen Angel copies. Wilco. Fallen Angel over, and out." Nolan turned off the radio then nodded, "Let's do some damage, 3 hours I'd say to twilight. Gather shit up. Let's make some noise. Don't bring your rifle for now, let's go in CQB." He started to worm around in their hide, gathering up stachel charges and his SMG.

Several hours later

Nolan and Andrew picked their way across the slightly hilly ground, through scrub and brush making their way towards the base. Nolan on his stomach at the moment, his silenced pistol peeking out through some brush, watching a man who wasn't more then eleven meters away, taking a piss at the very edge of the light from a huge spot light overlooking this section of ground. Nolan wasn't sure if he wanted to take that shot yet, not with the guy on that spot light still looking this direction. He instead decided to wait, letting the man and the light set off. Then began the crawl in closer to the base. He looked for Andrew, waiting for the right moment to start the covert assault. ROE? Set charges on the tank, the two IFVs, spike the mortars and the MGs. Kill or incap anyone that might give them away. There is just too many on sight for it to turn into a fire fight, and all Nolan is wearing is his ghille and a chest rig with a single ceramic plate in it.

He got in close, out of sight of 90% of the base, the other 10% wouldn't be able to see his position directly. Now was the time he just had to wait until Andrew joined him.
Sorry it took me so long to post. I didn't know if Konrad was still with us, what with him going back to school. so I had kinda cooled my jets. And was fully prepared to sit and wait until he was free again. He told me though he's kinda free up, so yeah starting to put posts together now.

My sincerest apologies all around.
Drevan grit his teeth, "Why the hell are you being so stubborn right now..." He murmered as he clacked away at the keyboard in front of him, "Don't rush...just...hold on...they've got some interesting ICM in this system. Not sure why they went to such work...okay..." He grinned, "Wait...hello baby..." He picked away at a knot of code he'd slipped into, "Ahhh there you go baby...don't be mean...lemme just touch you..." He didn't seem at all to notice his link to the team was open. "Come on now baby...spread'em a little...yeah there you go hunny...ah yeah look at that hotness...yeah don't worry baby I'll be gentle." He let out a slow, low groan, almost akin to a groan of pleasure.

He kept working, hunched over and grinning as the code unraveled for him, "Yeah there you go baby...doesn't it feel good to let go...ahh yeah..." His eyes glittered and gleamed, working away. "Just...yeah...no teeth baby...no teeth...wide...there ya go...lemme know if I'm hurting you..." He let out another groan as a whole section of the code gave way, "Ahhhh yeah I love those peepers of yours hunny...yeah...open wide for daddy...yeah that's right hunny...daddy is at half mast, you just wait!"

He cackled and let out another moan as a second section of the code unraveled. Drevan let out a bark of almost sexual sounded pleasure, "Ah fuck yeah! There you go you like that don't you! Take it baby...take it all...yeah!" He worked away, the last bit of code beginning to unravel. He let out a second barking groan of pleasure. "Fuck yeah! Yeah!" The last bit of code shattered. Giving Drevan total control over the security mainframe of their target. He shuddered and let out a long drawn out groan of pleasure and triumph, he leaned back in his seat and lit himself a cigarette, "Ohhh yeah...that's how we do it..." He finally realized his link to everyone was still open and he grinned, "Enjoy the podcast kids? Security mainframe is ours. I see...seven bodies you'll need to worry about. Maybe eight if the guy in a shed is actually security and not some night crew munking it. I can guide you all right past it all. Hell I'll be able to take still shots as you go through if you want me to post them on the places website later to show that they aren't safe." He puffed at his cigarette and grinned broadly.

Then leaned back forward to check the feeds. Grinning as he watched the team move in, "You guys don't waste time that's for sure. Careful now."
Drevan sipped his drink smiling a little as he did. He continued to monitor the Youtube and other accounts that had the new video on it, amused at all the comments and watching the views rack up. He was a little bit of a view-whore, so he had the brightest of smiles on his face when he saw the view count to be well above ten thousand.

He brought his attention back to reality.

He grinned broadly, "Now hang on, there was never anything linking me to that webring. All the information was routed through clean proxies and routers. There was no way anyone could prove that it was me who put all the sophisticated and nearly foolproof security up. I can't possibly be behind it." He grinned, "That beautiful piece of work that it was. Damn it I wish who ever squealed on it could burn in a fire. I was getting a hundred subs a day, five bucks each, that's a lot of money."

Drevan laughed, letting his teammates think what they wanted to think. Could he have done it? He certainly could have, and he would have if he really wanted too. With the power behind his Rig, and his access to networks like Tor and other networks it's entirely possible he got all those pictures without once touching the surface web.

He grinned, "Oh the days when HR wasn't looking over my shoulder when I had free time."
