Contrary to popular belief, I am, in fact, still here. However, I am absolutely swamped with work - it would make sense to consider this an indefinite (but short) hiatus.

@The Bork Lazer Pretty bad. Cities like London and New York issue gas masks to their residents, several species of dolphin and shark have gone extinct, large swathes of countryside are being seized by governments to make landfills, etc, etc. India is facing a massive immigrant crisis because of flooding in Bangladesh and the Maldives. However, do take note that green energy is becoming the norm as well, so relatively small and/or technologically advanced countries might have been able to stave off the worst.

Can I have a roll call while we’re at it?

I’m still here, but unfortunately I am swamped with work for the whole week. I however can tell you all what to expect in the opening post:

- Will start in an izakaya/bar on the border of Shiraku Market and Totomi Business Park, the former being Suribachi’s wet market for fresh food and produce, and the latter being where most businesses have their HQs or branches in Suribachi (Lux Incorporated, a biotech corp owned by the Sycamores, has a branch here).
- It’s 7:30 pm on a Friday night, when people are arriving from work to relax and party.
- This place is in between yakuza and Sycamore territory, so watch out for the inevitable cliché bar fight.
- @The Bork Lazer (Connie could be the deliveryman for a neighboring establishment).

@Whoami My main problem is that the RP is about scrappy underdogs trying not to get killed by the feuding families. Serrice in her current incarnation would most likely be an antagonist herself trying to hunt down our characters. I would be fine with the concept, however, if her scale was way smaller (perhaps limited to a couple of countries, for example), and she was more vulnerable, politically, physically, or socially speaking.

@The Bork Lazer Much like police in areas controlled by organized crime - ineffective and out of the game. Most people would rather call their local Sycamore or Yakuza enforcer than the nearest koban.
