Bio

Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.

In all honesty, I am 23 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!

Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but can find myself interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Marvel, and Souleater but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. If you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!

These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.

Rala stared daggers at the orc as he regaled them with his story, but she kept her quiet until he revealed his position on the witch. In her eyes he was on her side, he didn't see the folly in slaying for a witch's reward. Whether he was too dumb to understand, too bloodthirsty to care, or truly evil to the core had yet to be determined. Rala didn't like his tone though, so her eyes skimmed over the crowd. She spotted another orc, perhaps an ally of his. As worry swarmed the warrior she began checking her exits and was shocked to see a warrior enter the room, a warrior who seemed to have a reputation.

Her precarious stance on the orc switched quickly as he spoke her words before she could even part her lips. To add emphasis to his words, she stabbed her dagger into the table with a loud thud.
"Damn right! the only way he's getting my seat is if I shove it up his ass" She growled out.
"who is this punk, anyway?"
i will go back and add color to the spoken parts when I'm home from work
The trip towards Zephyr left the party once again alone on the trail, at least at first. Despite being the one who had met the orc prior, Rala stayed apprehensive long after the party agreed to travel with him. Her hand never left her hilt and her eyes darted about looking for an ambush or a tell from the dire wolf but the road remained relatively safe.

Over the next couple of hours cascade regaled them with anecdotes and stories of her hometown. At first Rala tried to ignore them but a few stories managed to get a short chuckle from the brooding blade maiden. More than anything the stories made her yearn for home and reminded her of all the tales she could never tell, lest someone realized who she was.

Seeing the tavern gave Rala a sense of releif, she was weary to going back to sleeping on the side of the road. The stars only gave so much comfort and her pockets where still fat with coin. The rest of the group proudly and loudly entered and Rala couldn't help but shrink back, practically enveloping herself in her cloak. The giddiness of the tavern was too much for her gruff disposition, and she had a hard time believing that such hospitality could be real. Sheepishly she moved to join the rest of the group and sat down. She seemed worried abkut the orders the group requested.

"We're nearing Zephyr. Don't you think you should pace yourselves?" She asked in regards to the orders of whiskey and ale.
"Perhaps it would be a good time to work out a strategy"
On another note, can Rala give an insight into the place? is this secretly a trap or are they all just jolly tavern goers? Or do any of them seem to be too cheery or perhaps seem nervous?
I will have... a Knife!
Wowza I missed to much on my vaca! Let me read up unless someone wants to catch me up to the new chapter
Bozo the Bard

Bozo made a big display of leaving the stage seeing as she had only been up there for mere moments, and to happy it would be clear that leaving the spotlight was painful to her, like ripping a band-aid from a still healing wound. With a final rapid burst of musical rantings from her flute she shone thousands of spinning lights around the room like a fantastical disco before hastily slipping back into the crowd. From there, she followed Happy as the burlier man managed to clear a path to where the real party was going.

The real party seemed rather boring to her when she got there. Scholars and nerds alike, especially Arthek and his sheepish words and general book smarts. There were new faces too, the most interesting being a strange Genasai asking rapid-fire questions. It took halfling a moment to gather what they were gabbing about, but she listened intently knowing that Grimi seldom wasted his time with the pedantic pleasantries that might be found outside of a speakeasy. When she realized this was a heist Widry struggled to contain her excitement, but let the others ask questions. Questions that no doubt would have very important answers. In her mind, the thrill of such an enticing mission was enough, especially if it meant spitting in the face of those who had burned her home down years ago.

[Color=DeepPink]"You hear that, Happy? They need us to steal" She chirped with a giddy tone, bouncing in place as the excitement bubbled over inside her.

"If you need help then you've certainly come to the right place, Madam!" Widry announced as she hopped onto the table the group had been mingling over. Brandishing her flute high and standing with in a dynamic pose the tiny clown was grinning ear to ear.
"It's dangerous, it's exciting, it's filled with tribulations! I am sure this adventure would make for a wonderful song, hahahah!" She said with a spin before lunging forward to put her face close to the distressed researcher's.
"Just let me get this grease paint off and I'll be ready. And where Bozo goes, the giggle gang is never too far behind. Isn't that right gang?"
I am back, ok time to get serious and post something for once!
I'll try to get a post out but I'm on vacation currently. Don't wait up for me since I'm not sure what she will say really.
