Bio
Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.
In all honesty, I am 25 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!
Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but I find myself more and more interested in interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Kenshi, and Marvel but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. Do you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!
These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.
________________________________________________________________________________________ Name: Noevelle Age: 31 Gender: Book Appearance: Skills:
An encyclopedic understanding of the creatures of the duel world!
Minor magical prowess, mostly enough for parlor tricks and activating spell circles, etc.
Multiple languages at his disposal, ranging from the language of beast warriors, aliens, and many more!
Biography: Noevelle is a boo koo, a magical spirit envoked by many spell casters to make their spellbooks function autonomously. This is primarily a luxury for powerful spellcasters, ones who might require both hands for combat or for a spell book to flip to the right page without them willing it to.
Noevelle was not much different than most of his kind. He was created by a great and mighty wizard, one who was a major protector and ruler of his a mighty magical city. Noevelle quickly learned he was one of many, as this particular spellcaster had an abundance of spell books, towers full.
Despite this, Noevelle was given a particularly crucial task: he was made to teach the younger students of the arcane schools the basics of magic. While this may seem like a degrading job to many, to Noevelle this was a magical oppurtunity. His patients was tested but more than anything it was honed and fashioned into a great asset of his. Ultimately he became one of the better teachers, and many of his students went on to be skilled magicians.
So Noevelle was greatly disheartened when he heard of the Iswarm. Many of the very students he taught lost their lives fighting off the threat, and many more where turned and corrupted. Eventually his master and creator had seen enough and created a magical barrier around their city, shutting out the world outside while they waited for this disaister to end.
Noevelle could not accept this. The world was dying and he could not simple sit idly. Instead, he opted to escape the city, and he did so with what little magic he actually possessed. His knowledge led him to have faith in an ancient prophecy, one that he hoped to come true. That heroes from another world would be their saviors!
Items: Ironically for a living book, Noevelle carries around a book. It mostly just has a list of rules of the ancient game but is where he had discovered the ancient Prophecy. Besides from this and his deck, he also carries a set of Tarot cards, seeing them as he simpliest of magic!

Somehow worse than the destruction to the canopy was the sounds of the wounded and maimed. Soldiers without a chance from the start had suffered far worse than she from the blast. Her initial charge had inadvertently caused a similarly gruesome wake of crushed and broken soldiers trampled by her sudden forward rushes. Deadalus had caused far worse carnage than her, but the sounds, the feeling, the heat. It reminded her of her first time wielding the valkyrie.
Collateral damage was to be expected, and these were no saints. All the deceased were Athenian soldiers, but Rally couldn't grasp how anyone could deserve this. She found herself lost in thought on the battlefield, a dangerous thing to be. She was no soldier; she hadn't been desensitized and prepared for this. Her pause was enough time for many of the soldiers to reconvene. She saw them gathering on the cliffside. It looked like a last stand if she had ever seen one. Rally grit her teeth at the idea. No doubt Albert would gleefully dispatch of an unwhelming Hail Mary. She didn't want to end any more lives than she had to, and a cornered enemy was always the most dangerous kind. Her hand reached for a switch on her comlink, and the voice in her machine replied in synch.
"External frequency activated"
Rally moved her myrmidon be closer to the cliffs. The massive mech unit hardly needed to look up to match the perceived gaze of her enemy.. For emphasis, she stuck the massive end of her blade into the ground. "Do not throw your lives away fighting for a lost cause. Your base is destroyed, surrender, and I promise the Elysian board will treat you fairly," She stated sternly, like a mother scolding a child. She used an authority that she did not have, but stayed resolute in her position. "The sooner this battle is over, the quicker we can tend to the wounded"
