Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.
In all honesty, I am 25 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!
Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but I find myself more and more interested in interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Kenshi, and Marvel but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. Do you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!
These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.

| This bandit was more skilled than the rest, yet as he whipped around to swipe at his foe his blade only met the shaft of his foe’s significantly larger weapon. His artificial intelligence had reacted with shocking speed and adaptability thus far, but nothing could have prepared it for the impressive maneuver made by the Kinara warrior. His attack was countered immediately by a swift kick to the face, sending him reeling backwards off balance. Beggar bandit brute took 3 damage! The action must have come to Geo significantly easier than it would have in reality. With a light frame and bird-like appendages, they lifted off the ground with great ease. Buttz looked on in amazement as he made his way to his ally. Watching a Warrior battle was dazzling, a spectacle that almost made them want to pause and simply watch. G30, particularly, was a whirling durvish. They had shown time and time again that not only did they have what it took to win, but they were doing it with flashy moves purely for the fun of it. Buttz only remembered that they, too, were members of this fighting band when the bandit started stumbling back. They saw an opportunity and took it, rushing forward and then sliding into a low kick like a soccer player. Their legs slide right behind the brute, tripping the foe as they did. Beggar Bandit Brute took 1 damage! The bandit seemed dazed by the move, falling to their side hard and staying there for a moment. The damage they had sustained so far was quickly adding up. Not entirely out of the fight, but certainly feeling the accumulated damage. A massive welt was already forming over their eye from the kick, and now a thin scrape covered the cheek on the other side. The wound at their side was still dripping blood. Doc, on the other hand, knew they needed to move, and fast. They were directly in the way of the armed soldier they had brought with them, and scrambled like wild animals on their hands and knees to get away from the melee. |

Having characters at different levels of their journey sounds good, I think we are going with the training facility. Just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page, haha
Let me ask everyone still interested what they think works better for this rp.
Would you prefer this to being about pro pokemon battlers competing in high stakes competitions?
Or would you prefer being up and coming trainers trying to break into the big leagues, currently training at some training camp or other institution that will help them get there.
Potential I might try to do both as separate rps: the latter being here in casual and the former being in the arena threads.

Be aware, I did say I only wanted a few people. I might end up turning a couple people down. I am just getting back into gming and want to take it easy.
