definitely go more terminator then. The robot had a facial recognition type power where it scanned them (without a light or anything visible to show it happened) and got their information. For the movie it was more so that they could find their targets but yea. In depth description: Click me Im thinking you could use the basic concept of the power and tweak it to fit your character a bit :)

Transcendence was a movie where a man is killed and he ends up inside a super computer, and ends up craving more and more power. My abilities to explain movies suck sometimes so for a detailed description: Click me
basically, he became a super computer who could control people with nano particles (which were able to heal massive wounds) so what I'm thinking is maybe she uses nano particles that last a limited amount of time allowing her to see things

*Lucifer seems to be basically ignoring Dallas, standing as far away from her as the cuffs would allow. His other hand gets shoved into his jean pocket, the one cuffed shows heavy scarring. If anything, he is almost tempted to break his hand and wriggle out of the cuff, but he decides to hold off on that. Choosing instead to continue waiting for further instruction*
