Cal blinked as Zoe payed out her family past. It sounded awful, yet she turned out okay. He tilted his head and smiled back. "Yea. Family doesn't always start or end with blood." the oven dinged which caught his attention. He slipped on some oven mitts and pulled the cake out after poking it with a tooth pick to ensure it was done. He grabbed a large plate and managed to get it out perfectly. He then waited a few minutes before drizzling the glaze on. He then went to the fridge and grabbed some milk and two glasses along with two forks. With a grin he handed her a fork.
"Shall we feast in here or the living room?0 he held the ice cream ball with his free hand as he waited for her to decide. This was going to be the best stomach ache ever.
