Cupid sat and hung his head. He looked surprisingly young in these moments. He looked up and took a breath. "Being what I am....my mind...isn't exactly sound. I have to track my insanity." he looked at the book. "My kin reach a point where their mind breaks and they become lost within. they basically become what many call a vegetable" he opened the book to the first page where there was detailed notes and a sketch of the two halves. "I keep track of every dream I have to try to gage where my mind is" he looked at both of them he looked scared. "I can't remember the dream" he ran his free hand through his disheveled hair. "I can control everything when I'm awake but when I'm sleeping I....can't exactly control my mind....this is the first time I've forgotten a dream" his hands shook somewhat. "I'm not ready." each page of the journal held detailed notes and a few sketches. Each dream somewhat different and as one got further in the book they would see that the dreams become worse.
Anubis raised his brow again. "Actually I was here with the native peoples of this country. I watched it grow and change...and felt sorrow for how they were treated" this mortal was certainly odd. "You laugh a lot mortal." what an odd being. He wondered if there were others like this one or if most of the mortals were different. He had been gone too long. They wore shirts now...one of the many developments he did not care for.

Cupid woke up and yawned. He grabbed a leather bound sketch book and opened the flap. He picked up a pencil put it to the paper and stopped. His eyes widened and his hand shook. Panic shot through him. "I...I don't remember." he felt spikes in lust but it was clear he was too panicked. His hair was a tad messy, he was shirtless, and in his sweat pants that he slept in. He shot uo and paced still panicking. "Why don't I remember."
He grabbed the book and made his way to Kyles room. When he saw Kyle wasn't there he made his way to edens. he stood there his eyes still wide and filled with panic. "Oh you have company and are clearly busy...ill...ill wait darling" as he swallowed at the end of the sentence his Adam's apple bobbed. His hair lightly fell forward in his face giving him a different look then his usual clean and polished self. A few feathers fell from his wings and he clutched the dream journal like a religious man would clutch a bible.
Anubis tilted his head. "I observe. I very rarely intervene." he raised a brow at the mortals laughter. Had he said a joke? He did not think he had. "I just arrived. Both here and to earth. The realm has changed much since my last visit." a look swept through his eyes for a moment and he seemed to study the man before him. "why are you here mortal?" the tone was that of curiosity.
Cal turned red again and took a few moments to answer. "....I" he shook his head. He liked Zoe....he liked her a lot. What's stopping him. He sat up and decided to go for it. Make a move. He lightly turned her face toward him and kissed her deeply. He felt his hand caress her face as he let himself loose himself in the moment.
