Current Almost exactly one year since I step away from being here, and a lot can change in that amount of time. Here's hoping I can find a game or two and see how things go from here.

RIP Stan Lee... You will forever be missed. As someone whose grown up reading Marvel comics, you've always have kind of been a part of my life. Thank you for making most of the Marvel heroes we know.

Bio

WIP I'm coming back after forever so clearing all of this seems like a good choice.

Just few basic things.

1. Left for my own sort of health reasons.
2. I ran a game for almost a decade when I stepped away from everything.
3. Currently working on getting an interest check up for the game I am going to hopefully be able to run.

All set, that's all for now.

Well, this guy has now mocked my Poochyena, she thought, hopefully this can't get any worse.

She looked over at the Houndour and Poliwag match up. It wasn't going the best for the Houndour. Fire and water, that could end badly, she thought. She looked to the otherside at Budew and Magikarp. Magikarp was causing a bunch of water to go everywhere by splashing around.

So that's why the area is soaking wet, plus with Poliwag spraying water everywhere, Budew has the upper hand in that fight. Well at least one of us is having good luck. Now if only I could hit this Machop.

The sailor was trying to scare her. The fact that his own little roar was in sync with her own Poochyena didn't help either. It startled her Pokémon. Now the guy was about to attack the Pokémon, she had to do something! This guy's Machop could take out her Poochyena in one hit if it didn't move out of the way. This could all be over in seconds. There were different directions it could move, up, left, right, forward, and backwards. This was getting a little stressful for her.

Alright, think, what way should he move. Straight up would do more damage than good, and forward is out of the question. What direction would help me the most?

It came to her, she needed to get Poochyena around her opponent quickly, besides jumping over it. Going backwards wouldn't help her complete that goal, so that left only two directions that it could jump to, left or right. There was still the problem of the Machop changing direction so it would still hit, but there was nothing else she could do.

Well, might as well go in the right direction. I can't believe I just made a bad joke, she thought. Her younger brother and his friends used to do that. Guess I've been hanging around them to much.

"Poochyena, jump to the right and try to dodge his attack!" she called out to her Pokémon.

This is a great way to start off a Pokémon adventure, she thought to herself, and a great way to start training my Poochyena.

The three sailors threw out their Pokeballs, and the one that landed in front of her was a Machop. The other two Pokemon were Polliwag and Magikarp. It looked like only one of the three sailors would have a harder time than the others.

She reached down and grabbed her Pokebal, throwing it out in front of her.

"Lets go Poochyena!" she said, as a bright flash of light revealed the Pokémon.

The sailor with the Machop looked at her.

“Let’s Focus our Energy! We’ll end this in one hit!”

The Machop put on its war face. Its teeth grinded together, its eyebrows shot downward, and its eyes exuded the fury of a predator before a kill.

“No way Poochyena can take us on! It’s already over!”

Arren thought for a moment, trying to remember what moves her Poochyena would know at this level. She needed a strategy, and she needed one fast. She started thinking, until she came up with something. It wasn't the best, but it was still better than nothing. She knew that the chances of her beating the Machop were slim, but not impossible. She wasn't going down without a fight.

"Poochyena, keep an eye on its movement, and the use Howl!" she called out to the Pokémon.

She now realized that the entire area was wet, but that shouldn't effect her Pokémon too much.

The three guys were a little creepy in her mind. The just sort of ran up to them and started blurting out words. The only words that she could clearly hear were "Bro" and "Budew".

She looked over, and Vuduin looked excited about something. Arren wasn't sure to trust these people. Especially what happened to the last person they had trusted, and he had tried to steal their Pokémon.

The first of the guys pulled back his coat, revealing a Palm Pokeball. The other two followed suit. Now she could see why Vuduin was excited, this was turning into a Pokémon battle, their very first one.

“We want in on this brodeo too!”

“The Broletariat fights as a group!”

“So what do you say, brotato chip? Will you and your friends hang?”

Vuduin looked over at her and the other guy, and had a grin from ear to ear.

"What'd you say guys, up for hanging with the Broletariat?" he asked them.

She rolled her eyes slightly, kind of annoyed that he started talking like them. Arren looked over at them, and then looked at the Pokeball she had. Training now and getting stronger would be better than sitting around and wishing I had done it earlier, she thought to herself.

Arren smiled at Vuduin, and said "Sure, that sounds fun. Lets see if we can show them a thing or two. This maybe our first battle, but lets go for it!"

Arren watched as the room cam back into focus. The researchers, and everyone else in the room had been running away from the Arbok. Everyone started talking as soon as the Pokémon was returned to its Pokeball. The loud voices started to overwhelm her brain, when a new sound interrupted her thoughts.

It was almost like the sound of someone's foot stuck inside of a metal bucket. The loud clanging sound seemed to be getting closer. Arren turned around an saw an old man in a yellow fisherman's coat, with the matching hat. She wondered who this newcomer was, but she noticed the room suddenly became quiet when he walked in.

When this man spoke, it was like he was a pirate. From the outfit he was wearing, plus the pipe she now realized was in his mouth, made her think he had to be a sailor. In a way, this made sense for him to be one, since Gleampier is a port city, and his lab is on a ship.

He started talking to Holly.

“Aye, who’n be t’ swarty individual threat’nin me crew abov’ twenty fathoms of silent sea…” he said to her, looking at the disaster that was the Terminal Lab.

Holly handed him the clipboard that Arren hadn't realized she had been carrying, talking to him. Something about a report, she didn't really like Holly, so she just blocked her out. She looked down and saw what had been making the clanking noise, a metal boot that he was wearing.

He started speaking to the stranger who had helped them, and she realized that the sailor man had to be Professor Palm, since Holly had called him sir a few times, and how the researchers seemed to show him a lot of respect. Professor Palm looked over at her and the other two with him.

He is a little strange, she thought to herself, well now what do we do?

Arren was just about to go towards the main deck of the ship, when she heard someone shout behind her.

“Arbok, grab the pokemon and their pokeballs! You damn kids should listen better to your elders!”

She turned back around, and saw the man throw a pokeball. An Arbok appeared, but she just started edging away from the snake. She never really liked snakes, so she was a little freaked out. She saw one of the boys who was behind her, she couldn't really tell which one she was paying more attention to the Arbok, dive out of the way. Another look and she saw his Pokeball was gone. The Arbok kept coming towards them, when she heard the call of another Pokémon coming from behind the man.

The Arbok's tail burst into flames, and so did the man's beard, which turned out to be a fake one. He was running around, and the snake was freaking out. Another man popped up behind them, and grabbed the Arbok's pokeball, and returned it. The man who had attacked was knocked out cold.

“Are you all okay?” the stranger asked them.

"I'm fine," she replied, curious as to who this stranger was.

She saw the Pokémon that had attacked the Arbok. It was a little Cyndaquil, who was now sitting on the man's shoulders.

"Thank you for helping us," she said to the stranger.

She saw the walk up, and he made his proposition. Before she could answer, Holly walked back up, and started talking. Just as before, Arren wasn't really paying attention. She walked up to the man with the stickers.

"I'd be happy to take one," she said with a smile as she grabbed a sticker.

Holly continued talking, the next thing Arren knew, Holly was talking to the man, and not paying attention to the three of them.

She kept looking at the Pokeball that was in her hand. Still amazed at the sight of it. She took the sticker that was in her hand and placed it onto the ball.

"So, think the three of us should head top-deck and see if we can start looking for some Pokemon? I mean I will, it'd be cool if I had some company." Vuduin suddenly sai, and Havoc agreed to go. Arren still felt a little weird around them, but it would be nice if she could make some friends.

"I'll go too, that sounds like fun," she said, and started walking towards the deck.

She was amazed at the ship still. You could catch Pokémon on board? That was an amazing thing for her, she had never heard of that. She wondered what type of Pokémon were on board, and hse once again felt the excitement brewing. She couldn't wait.
I'm sorry, I haven't been able to get on much this week. I also should be able to post more frequently. I just posted now.
It posted twice for some stupid reason, ignore this...
Thalia looked around, and noticed how just about everyone had left. The only people left in the room were her, the drunk that was now lying on the floor, and the hunters.

Well, she thought, I don't think vampires age.

She flew up onto the counter of the bar, and took a deep breath, the hunters started rushing at her. She made sure her lungs were full of air, and let out her breath onto the entire crowd. After about a minute, the room became covered in a layer of dust, and the vampire was still on the floor. Thalia walked over and gave her a nudge, she moved slightly, so she wasn't dead dead.

Well, that's good, no one who wasn't threatening me died, she thought.

Thalia knew that a few hunters escaped, but hopefully they would think twice before attacking her. She pulled her wings back so that she looked human again, and grabbed a broom. The next hour she spent sweeping up and clearing the room. Eventually, there wasn't any sign that a fight had occurred.

She flipped off the open sign out front, it was almost 3 in the morning. Thalia walked over to the bar, and made one more drink. She woke up the vampire, and handed it to her.

"Hey, I'm locking up. Here, this one's on me," she said, as she gave the vamp the drink, and walked out the door.
Now that Thalia's anger was down a little bit, she thought of maybe trying to eat the brat, but decided against. She didn't know where the kid had been, so who would know what effect she would have on her stomach.

She looked over, just in time to see a hunter snap some photos and run away. She could feel the lungs within her chest rising. She thought of nothing but stopping that hunter. He looked young, too bad his life had to be cut short.

She let out a massive gust of her breath weapon, and watched as the hunter aged before her. He went from a young man in his twenties, to an old man well into his nineties within a matter of seconds. She would let the breath go, and eventually watched as he turned into a skeleton, and then into dust.

After this, she managed to shift into her hybrid form, so now only her wings were showing. She glared at all of the hunters, daring them to strike against her. She glared at the death spirit, wondering what she was going to say. Thalia saw movement out of them corner of her eye. Another hunter was taking a picture. She immediately sprung up into the air on her wings, he waved a sword around, but it was too late. With her sharpened nails, sliced his throat.

Thalia wondered, who in this crowd would be dumb enough to anger her now? These people have clearly never fought a dragon before, so what was going to happen next. She couldn't really tell, it was all a mystery to her still.
