@Eviledd1984 One tweak you'll need to make for Ricky Stevens is that flying elbow finisher. We already have two wrestlers using a diving elbow drop as signature moves, so could you switch it to something else for your finish?

I also had a look at the cult member henchmen you gave Anton Van Horne, and one of them has the name Matsuda, which is already being used. I think you could probably just reduce the number of henchmen from 4 to 3, and combine the two high fliers. That way you'll have one high flier, one technician, and one powerhouse. A well rounded crew of misfits. Since your two high-fliers were named Matsuda Takashi and Alex Kidman, maybe combining them to be Kid Takashi? Taking it one step further, since "The Kid" was one of your nicknames for Stevens... what if Kid Takashi was your main babyface character, and Rick Stevens was the name used for the cult member. Stevie Richards was part of Raven's Flock so it would fit. TOTALLY OPTIONAL, but it would give us another Japanese babyface, and every other aspect of the character could be kept exactly the same (moves, gimmick, backstory, etc.). I think you mentioned basing one of the henchmen on Tajiri, so that would work as a new pic base as well if you went this direction.

Side Note: I laughed at the inspiration for your cult member names - Alex Wright + Billy Kidman, Leon (Vader's real name) + Bam Bam Bigelow, and Johnny Grunge + Rocco Rock.

@Omega Man All good man, stay safe and I hope your wife had a great birthday. I've got a beautiful wife and baby girl at home as well, so I get it 100%. Family comes first.

@John Table Terry Funk described himself as "middle aged and crazy" and I think that perfectly fits you guy's vibe haha. Love it, add him to the Char section whenever you can. Also, as a Canadian millennial pop punk fan - Fat Lip would be a cool name for one of your character's moves (maybe a codebreaker?)...

@Shoopuf Looks perfect, welcome aboard! Loved the added touch of your character being a second generation wrestler trying to step outside of her father's shadow.

@Taka Sounds great, looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Like I said in an earlier post, hoping to announce our first show early next week.
I've been a lifelong professional wrestling fan. Some of my favorites are as follows but not limited too...

- AJ Styles
- El Phantasmo
- Rey Mysterio
- Tomohiro Ishii
- (And more recently) Psycho Mike

Hey man, welcome aboard! Saw that you were a wrestling fan AND a Dragon Ball fan so I thought I'd let you know about a Japanese pro wrestling RP we are starting up here. I think you'd be an absolutely perfect fit given your interests.

FIGHTING SPIRIT PRO-WRESTLING

Ishii fucking rules.
@Bonesaw McGraw

Funny you mention Kevin Sullivan I was a bit inspired by him and Terry Funk. I don't know if your gonna have hard-core matches, but if you are then I'd love Van Horne and his goons to be in it. I was also thinking of having a Mickey Whipwreck or Tajiri like characters be in his stable if that's okay.

I will try to get another sheet up maybe by Sunday or Monday.

Yeah we will absolutely have hardcore matches and other gimmick matches when appropriate. If you want to flesh out a House of Torture style crew of goons for Van Horne that would be great as well. They don't have to be your main playabale characters, they can just be extra bodies to use. You could maybe just incoproate them into the Gimmick section of Van Horne's CS.

And sounds good about the second sheet. Next week I want to officially book the first show.
@Eviledd1984 THE SINISTER MINISTER, haha love it. We don't have an evil cult leader type of heel yet, so your character fills a nice niche, and I like the named Anton Van Horne. Gimmick sort of reminds me of the "Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan in WCW. I also like that he uses technical wrestling to dissect his opponent, and I can picture him doing some of those classic joint manipulation spots that were popularized in the British wrestling scene. It's fine as is if we want another gaijin heel, but if you wanted to flavor the character to be Japanese then you could maybe look at EVIL as an appearance base instead of James Mitchell. Either way, you're good to move the finished CS into the Char section, but could you just bold and highlight the headings with your chosen text color. Much appreciated.

Also, if you've got another character in mind we can use as many wrestlers as we can get. Right now we are in need of homegrown babyfaces, so that would be ideal for you second character. Eager to see what you come up with!

@Shu Better late than never. CS looks great, feel free to move her into the Char section officially!

@John Table What are you thinking for your babyface character?
@BangoSkank I was going to ask about the manager, I think that's a good idea. Sort of a Gedo type of role where it's a former wrestler turned manager who still steps in the ring occasionally. And like you said, since Gerald Shaw is the major star, Mr. Watanabe could eat pins and it's not a big deal.

And for the Muta character, I'd definitely rather they be a PC as opposed to an NPC since it's such a classic gimmick. My take on it was an enigmatic face-painted wrestler named Orochi (who sort of had a snake-themed vibe going on). He was silent of course, but had a manager/valet named Kasumi (a name that literally translates to "mist").

And as far as the men's vs women's divisions, I've given it some thought and I wonder if it's just easier to have everyone in the same division, as is the case with most e-feds you'll find online. It makes things easier when you have a smaller roster overall, and you can just focus on the characters above everything. Just treat it like a fighting videogame sort of, where it doesn't matter.

@BangoSkank Absolutely love it, Stan Hansen is one of my all time favorites, and I love the 90s All Japan vibe of your character. Can perfectly picture the type of sloppy but awesome big man moonsault this guy would hit. The sample promo was great as well, and every Japanese promotion needs a rough and tough gaijin heel. Both possible names are solid, so really it's whatever you prefer between Jack Hansen and Gerald Shaw. Go ahead and post your CS in the CHar section whenever you get a chance.

Are you still also thinking of creating a babyface character, I know you mentioned Muta as an inspiration too. If not, I do have a Muta-type NPC that can be added to the roster. In general though, we're going to need some more player controlled babyfaces, face-painted or otherwise. So if you have any ideas, toss them in.

@Omega Man Are you still on board? Just waiting on your CS being moved to the Char tab.

And @Shu@Oso@Shoopuf will you be joining in as well?

Gonna give this a bump to see if we can grab some more interest from any wrestling fans out there.

Fans of all kinds of wrestling are welcome! WWE, AEW, NJPW, ROH, TNA, CMLL, AAA, MLW, GCW, doesn't matter!
No worries at all @Shu, can definitely relate to dealing with a crazy snowstorm as a Canadian. Glad to hear that you've got power back and you're doing well now! Good luck dealing with the snow down there (and the ICE for that matter...)

Looking forward to seeing the CS, no rush!
